The Staff are professional and friendly

Location. approx. 20min by foot to the Duomo and 20min to the central station. But that is the only positive thing about this hotel.

I booked the hotel because it had good reviews. Why it got such good review I don't know. The room I was in was rather plain, dark yellow walls, dark furniture, dark blanket on the bed. The window overlooked the courtyard, got little daylight hence it was somber in the room all the time. In the morning it was impossible to tell whether it was sunny or cloudy out. The bed was hard and the noise isolation was very poor. I could hear people talking in the lobby, phone ringing as well as I could here people in the neighboring room. On the first night of my stay, there was someone in next-door room who had his alarm set for 5 a.m. Well, it woke me up too. What's more, the guy kept turning it off only for it to ring a few minutes later again. I came in Milan just for 3 days and needed a good rest on the first night. Well, I've got none of it. In the description they write that there's a tea/coffee maker in the room and TV with channels, well there was none of it. On the following day I tried to move out of the hotel, but they wouldn't let me. I had a good time in Milan, but I didn't like returning to the hotel. That is to say, I was in Berlin in the hotel which cost approx. the same as this one. The quality of the Berlin hotel, however, was much, much, much better: clean, modern, bright rooms, good location, pleasant stuff. So I'd say, if you're vacationing and want to get a better impression of Milan, don't book this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay in hotel aurora. Staff is very friendly. The roon is very clean and facility works well with Metro and bus near the Hotel.

This hotel could easily be a 4 star hotel! I could not believe the service I was offered. The staff was lovely and made every attempt to make me feel comfortable. I would stay here again no doubt!

It is a very nice hotel. Incredibly clean, the rooms are more like a two stars hotel and they look just exactly the same as on the pictures shown at booking. We took metro to go to the main attractions but it is both easy to access and close to it (ca 10 min)

The location is excellent, very close to the metro station. The hotel is in a commercial street, and on the opposite of the hotel, there is an ice-cream shop which is open until midnight, my boy like it very much.

i loved the airconditioning.the location is close to all the shops. no noise. helpful staff.

I feel the hotel is very good, even better than some other 3 stars hotel. It is very convient to the metro station but with the change, if you want to go to the central train station in milano. Single room with big bed and enough to two people. Clean and brightly. Free WIFI with good signal.

Very clean. Has its own sort of charm....the backyard lift entrance is kind of cool. The staff are friendly and helpful. For the money this is a great deal. If you complain about this hotel at this price, you shouldn't be allowed to travel!

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and silent room, airco & great location, only 50 metres from undergroud or (turn left when leaving) just straight a small half hr to the Duomo square. We went out for breakfast (30 metres to right) and had an Italian brakfast (brioche and coffee for approx 2 euro). Also a supermarket nearby.The staff can advise to visit some nice restaurants in the direct neighboorhood. Also an exiting "cage elevator". Parking almost in front of the door free from 20.00 hr till 08.00 hrs and further 1,80/hr

Considering the price / quality not really.

We've had a very pleasant stay. The staff/owners, (Anna and her husband) were so helpful and spoke perfect English. They gave directions and maps and helped where they could. The room was sound proof, although one could hear and feel the underground metro, it was not a problem. We received clean linen and towels everyday and the room and bathroom was spotless. The best value for money we have ever seen. Fantastic location, close to two metro stations with easy connections to main train stations. We loved it and will definitely recommend Aurora to all and we will stay there again.

The only negative comments we have - Free internet connection was not good. Only very limited access to the web. The owner said that he was going to get a better service provider. No bar fridge in the room, nor ice. We got ice from the local bar. Minor issues really.

The location was superb, staff was great and room is kept tip top everyday.. i really recommend this place ..

Front desk was VERY helpful answering questions, giving directions and suggesting restaurants that provide excellent food for a great value. Located in a great shopping/nightlife area and a 15 minute walk from city center/Duomo and Central Train Station. We would return.
