Firenzen keskustassa sijaitseva Hotel Balestri avautuu Arno-joelle. Ponte Vecchio ja Galleria degli Uffizin taidegalleria ovat 400 metrin päässä. Balestri-hotelli tarjoaa myös kattoterassin, jolta on viehättävät näkymät kaupunkiin. Ilmastoiduissa huoneissa on satelliitti-tv ja oma kylpyhuone hiustenkuivaajalla. Joissakin huoneissa on parveke, ja joistain huoneista avautuu näkymät Arno-joelle. Hotellin klassisella tyylillä sisustetuissa yleisissä tiloissa on antiikkihuonekaluja. Sijainti, ystävällinen henkilökunta, riittävän kokoinen huone, vallet parking. Negatiivisia puolia ei ole tullut vastaan ja siksi olimmekin siellä jo toista kertaa.

Sijainti oli erittäin hyvä ja huoneet siivottiin hyvin joka päivä Yhden hengen huone oli aika ankea ja kaikissa huoneissa oli erittäin kovat patjat, josta muutkin vieraat valittivat. Samoin ei ollut tyynyvaihtoehtoja. Samoin aamiaiselta puuttuvat kananmunat ja niiden saanti erityispyynnöstä maksoi 2€/kpl. aika hurjaa-

Rauhallisen huoneen taso vastasi erinomaisesti ennakkoesittelyä. Hotelli on erittäin hyvin hoidettu, ja siisteys ensiluokkaista. Sijainti on erittäin keskeinen, ja hinta-laatusuhde oli hyvä. Baari/ravintola puuttui hotellista

Staff were very helpful and location is superb. Excellent for those with cars as they have very useful valet service and one can drive to hotel to drop off luggage, even though it is in a restricted area. Highly recommended.

A charming hotel with a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and comfortable. The water pressure was very low and there wasn't hot water for showering.

Assistance from Reception was excellent from start to finish. Great ambiance and wonderful location. The view from the bedroom was beautiful on the 'river side.

The location was ideal right in the center of florence but on the river so more peaceful. The rooms were a good size, the booking.com rate was great and the staff was very helpful. We needed assistance for the one year old and they were courteous, we needed a dentist and they connected us with a very good one immediately. Terrible smell like sewage pipes broken, or the from the arno

It was very welcoming, right next to the river and close to the shops. The hotel was very clean and spacious. The breakfast had variety and tasteful. Would definately recommend for anyone to stay there.

Requested a room with a river view and got exactly that. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in price and very good. Location of this hotel is perfect to see the city of Firenze on foot.

Front desk staff very cordial, funny and helpful (unlike some reviews I'd read)- Nice view of Arno River and hills beyond as well as PonteVecchio from window and balcony. Within 2 blocks of Uffizi museum. Nice breakfast - beyond the usual Euro am fare. Easy walk to Piazzale Michelangiolo for sunset views over city. Very nice kingsize bed and nice roomy bathroom (unlike most others in Italy). Spendy (250. euros/ nite) but everything is in Florence. A bit of a walk (20 minutes) with rolling luggage to and from Santa Maria train station. Buses were on strike.

Only very welcome lobby, .. This is motel rather not 3 star hotel. Small rom, scrached thirty walls, not really clean bath, shover cab very small hard to get shower. Poor brekfest, very unpleasent staff, Not worth the money what we pay for 4 nights, I was ready to give up after 1-st night but was close to the location what we do business with so we survived... Not recomend this hotel to anybody.

Friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is in an excellent location with beautiful views on the Arno River. Generally quiet and close walking distance to major attractions. The beds were very comfortable and the general area downstairs was a quiet comfortable room to meet other hotel guests. The bathrooms are large and very clean. Found the rooms large but very tired and in need of some fresh paint and new furniture. For the price I expected something a little nicer.

Location of hotel was excellent - walking distance to all sites. Elevator in hotel. Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful. Room and shower was clean. Mosquitoes in the room sometimes. Room was rather small - just able to fit 2 suitcases.
