Although I had booked a double room, on the first night I was given a single room with a small bed. They said they were fully booked and something had happened in my room so electricity was not working, and I could change room on the next day. On the next day they told me the other guests had just left so the room needed cleaning. Then I was given a double. When I paid, they didn't make me pay the city tax, (12 euros in total), but I had to pay total amount as if I had a double both nights, saying the price difference was like 6/7 euros only.
Location was really good, close to Via Veneto, and other important sites, metro is about 5 minutes walk. Breakfast was reallly good.

The hotel is tiny without any atmosphere. The spa, again tiny, is not included in the price & you have to book it in advance (as it would only fit a couple at a time). The WiFi was very intermittant.
The hotel decor is nice, the rooms & hotel generally were clean. The breakfast was lovely!

Very small rooms. The pictures don't represent accurately. Not comfortable bed. Hard pillows.

The beds were hard. The wifi worked badly in our room.
It was very positive that we could rent the relax for private use. Missing cargo cover from the corridor. The breakfast was wery good and the staff very service minded.

The room was small. We had one room in the first floor. It means about two meters above the level of the street. You can listen even the talking of the people in the street. Below of the window was a place for parking motos. The bed was hard. during check in , we were informed about a new policy, they offered a wellcome drink and if we wanted we had the possibility to order food. It was offered from 3 p.m. In the roof restorant. Nobody was there.
The location was great. The wiew from the roof restorant was great too. The service during the breakfast was very good too. The decoration of the room was nice, but the carpet was too old and the curtains in the bathroom weee old and not so clean.

Room was maybe a bit small, particularly with luggage.
Peaceful hotel in a quiet street. Only a couple of minutes from the metro. Easy stroll to Trevi fountain. In fact we walked to the Vatican - and back. Nice restaurants close by. We could open a window for fresh air. Great breakfast on the roof terrace.

The place is rather silent despite the fact that it is situated near Bernini piazza. Good breakfast. Attentive staff

Very helpful staff suggested us great food

Our only complaint was the Wifi -- and believe us, they worked hard to fix it. Once the problem was figured out (on day 3 of 3 unfortunately) it worked swell after that. Otherwise we had to go upstairs to the breakfast room, or down to the lobby, for it to work well -- and it did. I know there have been comments previously made about the wifi, but I have a feeling that should not be a problem any longer. There are routers on every floor and they can handle the load. Besides, you are in Rome to explore and have fun! Which we did to the fullest.
The Hotel Barberini was a real find. Located just a short walk from most everything we wanted to see. The staff were excellent and did much to help us with whatever our request -- always going above and beyond. The restaurants they suggested were out of the way, real world places with food that was fantastic -- so good we went back to some of them twice! It is a quiet neighborhood, just one block off the main road, in a beautiful setting.

Bit too much traffic noise for our room (front 1st floor). Rooms are compact.
Lovely view at Breakfast. Helpful staff. Really easy to walk to most of the sights and some good eateries nearby.

Rooms very small, not much space to open up a suitcase. This hotel does not have a restaurant, it only serves breakfast. We tried several times to book the spa (sauna and hot tub) and on the last night when we finally had it reserved, the front desk man gave us different stories from 1. We double booked, you have to wait until later because someone else is there, 2. You never reserved the time, and 3. They are doing us a favor and letting us use it after hours. Mind you after hours meant after 10 pm. We took the third option because we had been wanting all week to use the sauna. The hot tub was probably not as clean or disinfected as it should be because the next morning we woke up with stuffed sinuses and goo in our eyes....something we had not experienced the entire stay until using the spa. The wifi is NONEXISTENT! The signal was weak in the lobby and nothing in the rooms. For 3 of the day's the Internet was down and we would have to go to other coffee shops or restaurants to check the Internet. Extremely annoying! Really not worth the price...nice hotel facilities overall but too many little things that do not make it worth the time or money.
Central location. Two of the hotel staff very nice...the gentleman from Sardinia and the porter, both very helpful. The other front desk employees were rather rude. Full breakfast selection with a very scenic view from the top floor of the hotel. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.

Wifi connection quite poor in the rooms.
The location is perfect for a Rome visit - everything is near and can be attended by walk. All the shops and good restaurants in the surroundings as well.

The bed was not good enough and also room set up as we asked for a double bed room but they offered only a two single bed one. Room was pretty small.
The location is perfect! walking distance to main city center, restaurants and metro. Breakfast was also good from quality, variety and also the external view! Personnel is very friendly and service oriented.

Didn't like to be charged for use of the wellness area when it's not stated on the website. However it's reasonable priced for having the area reserved for yourself only (2 hours).
View over the city from the breakfast room at the top of the hotel.

Room too hot and not happy that air conditioning unavailable in Winter..told to open a window which feels like inviting all of Rome to drive through your room! Staff generally good but promised to suggest somewhere to eat on Christmas Day but never did despite reminders.
Traditional feel and breakfast on the roof. Comfortable room spoilt by lack of air conditioning.
