A very clean and well located hotel. The staff were the most friendly and helpful I have known, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this hotel.
After reading up on hotel Barocco it didn't fail to disappoint. Excellent staff, rooms, breakfast and nothing was too much to ask. Highly recommended.
Good location. The staff were accommodating, extremely gracious and always ready to assist.
Room was very small, no dresser, one chair at desk. Not easy to maneuver. There are a lot of stairs to navigate in the main hotel.
On behalf of our family we want to thank you about our beautiful and happy experince from your hotel. Every thong was perfecto, not less: The service, the reception, the tips that you gave us (and thank you Anna for the 30min lesson when we arrived), The breakfast (the best service in Italy that we had, VERY tasty and clean), The room and very important- the location, the centrum of the centrum. Grazie Mille! we hope to see you soon
Nice hotel, centrally located. But the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. After a hectic travel day, Hotel Barocco was the perfect place to rest to prepare for sightseeing ahead.
Breakfast, Staff especially Luigi, Location near subway & buses, Spanish Steps. Great restaurants and wine stores nearby.
Very slow, inconsistent WiFi.
Loved the staff. Breakfasts were excellent.
Could use some shelving or tables in the bathroom. No place to put personal belongings.
The location was fantastic - walking distance to nearly everything.
There is nothing not to like. Everything was perfect.
Staff on reception very helpful in that they took time and trouble to asset with queries and find out information. Good quality decor in the rooms and public areas and rooms very clean. Beds very comfortable. Very good breakfasts with plenty of choice. Good and effective soundproofing in rooms. Very convenient location.
Standard rooms very small with limited storage facilities (wardrobe adequate but no room for drawers-fine for a short stay but not so convenient for a longer period).
My husband and I stayed at the hotel in the month of July and August. Both times, we were very pleased with the staff and the hotel. Everyone was welcoming and patient with any questions we had. Although the entrance of the hotel is not on a main street, the hotel is in a prime location within walking distance of many of the tourist sites. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel. Dining room staff were very helpful and efficient and tended to our every need.
My overall stay was great, however, I stayed in a suite in the annex part of the hotel during my second stay. The suite had one mirror which was in the bathroom and one garbage can which was also in the bathroom. This was a bit of an inconvenience especially if someone was already in the bathroom. As well, there was no clock anywhere in the room and the view from all of the windows was very unpleasant. If we opted to open the windows, we most likely would have gotten whiff of unpleasant odor due to the trash in the alleys.
The staff were amazing, used the concierge desk a lot for restaurant recommendations, directions, tour advice etc. Florentina at the desk was really lovely to us. Breakfasts were really good with a huge variety of foods to chooses from. We also received a fruit bowl in our room which was lovely. As I was celebrating my birthday there, I also received a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was so special.
Liked everything, very impressed with the service
Close to many major tourist sights, so it was very convenient to move around. Subway station is also adjacent making my trip more convenient.
Very small room :(
When we arrived at the address given, the storefront looked lifeless and ininviting. There was a small sign to enter from a small adjacent street. We were suspicious but found the office with the most friendly staff. We were taken to our room in another building. There we found fresh flowers waiting for us. The marble bathroom had a heated floor by the tub. All impeccably clean. Italian pastries were brought in our room with a handwritten note at the end of our two night stay. Breakfast included some made to order items. The boutique hotel was close to the subway. We would recommend this hotel
Great staff, fantastic location
Really bad Wifi but I'm told its bad in Rome
Great location, very close to the fountains, Spanish steps, the Pantheon...etc
The stuff could have been nicer,
The location, clean hotel and friendly staff.
This was a very clean and friendly hotel, not too large, with comfortable rooms and beds. Food breakfast a large choice, cooked well. Cleaned daily with a safe in room air conditioning and mini bar. Good location too. Staff a big plus and English speaking. Want to stay again
Only our opinion needed a mirror above dressing table unit and tea coffee in room. Lounge ok but not large. Otherwise fantastico!
Fantastic breakfast. Helpful and pleasant staff.
I do not understand people whom complain about the size of the hotel rooms. If like me they had done there "Home work" regarding The Barrocco Hotel before they booked, they would not of had a problem with the room sizes. The Superior Room N0: 62. was as I,d expected. The service in the breakfast room was good, the staff were all very polite. This was the 1st time I have slept properly whilst on holiday) due to the comfort of the bed. We were able to leave the windows open all night due to the privacy of having the 6th floor. The little touches helped make our stay more pleasurable, as my husband and I didn't feel like a number on a list. We were treated as individuals. Will definatley return.
We had a problem which was resolved to our satisfaction immediately by the manager, with no problems what so ever. This will not stop us staying with you another time, as I,m sure you will get to the truth. (We have received your email since coming home)
Everything... Breakfast - exceptional, room - great.
Delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.
Daughters rollaway bed was hard and the alcove where it was got cold.
Quiet rooms, very comfortable bed, good breakfasts, helpful staff, attention to detail was good, provided useful tip about booking tickets for vatican online which saved hours queuing and they helped print off tickets, courtesy drink.on last night
The superior room we had was a little small without an easy chair, one item of clothing went missing although the hotel are investigating
I liked the location .The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was very good
No drawers or shelves for clothing
