The hotel staff is super friendly. I stayed 2 days and in that period of time I overhead them finding hotel rooms for would be guests twice because there hotel was full. The breakfast was also outstanding (for a free breakfast). Cappucino, yogurt, cereal, croissants, juice, sliced meat and cheese, pound cake. . all you care to eat! |

Good location and quiet Poor lighting in bathroom. One quater of the tiny bathroom was sectioned off with a shower curtain that did little to prevent the water from flooding the area. |

Very nice location. Close to the Train station, easy walking to all sights and restraunts. A bit difficult to find, poor signage but map helped. Rooms near lobby very noisy. |

The staff was responsive and cheerful, making us welcome and providing us with tips about parking, eating, sight-seeing. The rooms were clean, efficient and comfortable, and the hotel's location was very convenient, in the middle of all to be seen in the center of Florence. We were also happy with the public rooms, and enjoyed the breakfasts. We would stay there again, given the opportunity. It may be harder for more mature travellers to negotiate because of the stairs, but the staff helps with luggage. We are in our late 70's, and were quite comfortable. |

Probably the best staff in my six weeks of traveling, the younger gentlemen who worked during the day in particular spoke excellent english and was very helpful. Great breakfast with lots to choose from. Wifi if your room is close to the lobby. Also a great location very close to the duomo. The first night my washroom was outside in the hallway, but not a problem because they moved me to a bigger ensuite room for the next two nights. |

Staff was very friendly and helpful and, which important, all this by uncontrived way. And how they handled the difficult case of rooms rearrangement! (Once more, thank you for the splendid toscanian dinner!) Greetings to wonderful brothers E&E and other staff, too! If we'll come again to Florence, this hotel will be our choice, definitely. |

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location is excellent just a few hundred yards from the Duomo and Baptistry. The room and ensuite were very clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfasts offered a wide choice and again the service was excellent. |

The main attraction of this hotel is definitely the staff. They were so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, it was a pleasure to deal with them. If I went to Florence again, I would definitely stay there in order to see their faces again. The bathroom, although private, was in a room separate from my bedroom, so I had to go out into the hallway in order to use it, and the key for it was rather difficult to use. This made for some anxiety when I was in a hurry to use the toilet... People who are more concerned about privacy might want to make sure they get a room with the toilet in the room. |

It is very centrally located, but next to impossible to find. The street that it is on does not appear on most maps, since it is barely an alley, and locals and even police are not sure where it is. Even after checking in, as soon as you walk 100 yards away you cannot find your way back. |

This hotel is in the heart of town, yet in a quiet street. Very friendly and helpful staff willing to explain where to go sightseeing in Florence. Free internet. Lovely cappuchino for breakfast, and good range of choice at the breakfast buffet. |

The staff at the hotel made our whole stay enjoyable and made up for the fact that we didn't speak Italian, though we tried! The triple room was plenty big enough for three adults which made it more comfortable. The breakfast was great and all in all, we couldn't ask for more. Many thanks and see you next time. |

The staff is great, very helpfull, but the very best was the breakfast with great variety and quality. Room was a bit smelly maybe because of the building age and the bathroom was horrible. |

The address says it all! Overlooking the beautiful church of Santa Maria Novella, Rosso23 is a modern hotel in an ancient building, set right in the heart of Florence. |
Located between the Duomo and Santa Maria Novella Station, Hotel Nuova Italia is ideal for visiting the city’s museums and monuments. Your room is complete with free Wi-Fi. |
Taking its name from the illustrious Tuscan poet, Giovanni Boccaccio, this hotel harmoniously combines contemporary comforts and authentic Florentine style in a building from the 1700s. |
Home to friendly staff, pleasant rooms and a cordial atmosphere, this central hotel is positioned close to Florence’s celebrated monuments and museums, and a short walk from the train station. |
