Everything at the Hotel Bernini Palace was exceptional! I had an amazing suite that had floor to ceiling windows that opened out to the Courthouse; Duomo Cathedral; Palazzo Vecchio and Piazza Signoria. I was informed that this suite had the best view. The suite was amazing . . . separate entertaining, sleeping and dining quarters. The bathroom was spacious and designed for the simultaneous use by two guests. The suite was illuminated by several spectacular chandeliers. The majority of the hotel staff was professional, pleasant and accommodating. My suite included breakfast, which was served in an elaborately decorated dining hall, and the food was well prepared. All of my accommodations were sumptuously elegant! I would definitely stay here again, and recommend this hotel to any person that appreciates true quality. The only thing that I found distasteful during my stay was not with the Hotel Bernini Palace, per se, but rather with the female night manager. She was extremely abrupt, rude, and dismissive of guests’ questions and/or requests. I understand and converse well in Italian, so a translation issue was not the reason for her distasteful manner and lack of etiquette. However, I only had to deal with her on one occasions for the longest fifteen minutes of my life . . . The remainder of my stay at the Hotel Bernini Palace quickly allowed me to forget all about the unpleasant female night manager.

The staff was exceptionally knowedgable and helpful. The hotel is ideally located for sight-seeing in the City. It was important for ut to be able to reach and depart from the City by Automobile with ease and the location of the hotel plus the help of the staff made this ideal. Our room was very nice and was always made up to our standard. The dinner we had at the hotel was terrible and overpriced. I would never recommend that anyone have dinner here. Breakfast is very good and the breakfast service is excellent. Never had lunch at the hotel.

Two aspects were genuinely appreciated: (I) the hotel was ideally located in the city of Florence for engaging with this city and its incredible culture. The hotel was able to organise museum tickets at very short notice and was very helpful in this. (Ii) the hotel as very comfortable and a real pleasure to return to after a full day of seeing the things of Florence. The room was very comfortable and a pleasure to be in. The hotel provided additional refreshments in an executive lounge. This was appreciated. Breakfasts were very well catered; the service staff at breakfast were incredible. There is not much to say here. Though, to be helpful, can I suggest one thing. My wife and I had dinner at the hotel our first night. The meal was excellent as was the service. However, that grand room was far too brightly lit ... it ruined the atmosphere. Can I suggest keeping the room at a low lighting level for dinner.

1) Service 2) Room decoration is nice 3) Bathroom is spacious 1) airconditioning 2) only 1 window and you would not open it because it is so close to the opposite window from other flat.

I was very pleased by everything there. Amazing staff, always ready to assist. Good breakfast. Nice choice in the restaurant of vegetarian food. Comfortable rooms. Will recommend Bernini Palace to my freinds. It smells kitchen sometimes when you are in the rooms or in the corridor.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent, efficient and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and dinner. 5 minute walk from the main attractions of Florence. Relaxing Bar/Lobby area for break from sightseeing/shopping and for a light snack. Will stay here again and will recommend to friends. Could not fault this hotel!

This is a calm, dignified, elegant place, clean as a whistle, with several thoughtful touches. It is superbly located for access to most of the "must see" places - literally 'round the corner from the Uffizi, for example. I would certainly stay there again and intend to recommend it to anyone going to Florence.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. Bartolo is an excellent bartender and provided superior hospitality. When walking in you see the beautiful decor. Centralized to all important locations within Florence. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. Found Alfredo's and it was excellent. Bedrooms were beautiful. The only problem we had was finding the location. Would recommend having a taxi take you in.

Location is very good; walking distance from the main locations in florence. Breakfast could be better. Internet was not available at all the rooms including my superior room. Even in the lounge it was on and off.

The location was very good. The personel was kind and polite, the breakfast was also bery good. We wasnt that happy with the room. Tv was not working, reception reply people working to fix the problem. The bathroom could be cleaner especially the bath where a lot of black spots all around the silicone. And have in mind the water (small bottle) from mini bar is 8 euro.!!!

Location can't be better. Very good service, beautifully furnished rooms with all amenities on the Tuscan floor. Our room was facing the tiny internal courtyard and ventilation shaft - noise was audible most of the time.

All in all a nice hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast with excellent staffing. Location was absolutely the best for visiting all the sites in Florence, a short walk to everything. Very good WiFi access. The house keeping staff had to be called to clean the room. Some how they were ignoring the sign we would put on the door knob for cleaning the room. They had a service charge for getting us train tickets.

Location is excellent. Room is huge. Bed sheets are too rough. Room is cold but unable to adjust the temperature. Blanket is thin and no additional blanket. I stayed on the 3rd floor, facing street. Quite noisy at night.

Great hotel! the rooms were much larger than expected, clean & extremely comfortable, perfect location in Florence within walking distance to Piazza Signora, Uffizzi, the Duomo, Accademia, Ponte Vecchio as well as shopping & many restaurants. Staff was helpful & professional at all times & responded to our requests immediately. The free breakfast was good as well. Overall a great stay I would recommend to anyone.

The location is excellent, could not be more central and it is close to all the main attractions and shops. The staff was very friendly and even though not everyone were speaking English they were doing their best to accommodate our needs. The rooms are roomy and clean, not so much for views as the hotel is in the center and it is after all an old building, but it has lots of character and I for one like art deco. The breakfast was served in a very elegant room and even not though exactly spoiled for choice it offered a good selection and everything was fresh/freshly prepared. Also the hotel and room had a very pleasant smell (I'm guessing it was the air freshener they used). Overall we were very happy with choosing this hotel.

From the time we arrived till the time we left our stay was a pleasure. The staff were always on hand to help and the hotel itself was beautiful and in the perfect location. We have been to Florence 5 times and this is definately the best hotel we have stayed in. We will definately be going back. We also booked to stay another night as we didn't want to leave!!

Hotel Bernini Palace exceded our expectations. The location was perfect to walk to all of the famous sites and shopping Florence has to offer. The hotel is beautiful and our room was wonderful! Without a doubt it was one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in and our bathroom wasn't your normal European closet. My wife was completely delighted. Their breakfast was second to none in all of our stays in Italy. All of the hotel staff personnel were very gracious and professional. Tip: Don't walk to and from the train station as it was <$10 euros each way by cab. Bob & Barb

We received a warm welcome from the front desk. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. And not to mention the pure linen bed sheets which we thought to be "authentic" and a "rare privilege". Very generous with toiletries, which never seem to run out. Location - couldn't be any better, within walking distance to historic places and the shopping scene of Florence. Plenty of cafes and eateries around the corner. Wished it had tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Very nice hotel, the breakfast was very good (eggs, fresh fruits, prosciutto and cheese, sweets) and perfect service. The breakfast room is large, spacious with a high ceiling and rooms were also big. We had booked a deluxe room and were upgraded to a junior suite and it was fantastic! Near the room, every day there was free cakes, fruits, juices even champagne!

The bar was nice although not busy and the young batman very good. The rom could have cleaner and especially the bed decor (I.E. Curtain style cover was dirty and we received a number of insect bites). The restaurant needs to be given a good overhaul as felt it was dirty and in fact we had breakfast only once even though we paid for it.
