“The staff was incredibly helpful and took care of our every need - even managed to get us transportation during a taxi strike! The room was great and I loved the turn-down service in the evening. The hotel is in a very convenient location - close to everything.”

Everything at the Hotel Bernini Palace was exceptional! I had an amazing suite that had floor to ceiling windows that opened out to the Courthouse; Duomo Cathedral; Palazzo Vecchio and Piazza Signoria. I was informed that this suite had the best view. The suite was amazing . . . separate entertaining, sleeping and dining quarters. The bathroom was spacious and designed for the simultaneous use by two guests. The suite was illuminated by several spectacular chandeliers. The majority of the hotel staff was professional, pleasant and accommodating. My suite included breakfast, which was served in an elaborately decorated dining hall, and the food was well prepared. All of my accommodations were sumptuously elegant! I would definitely stay here again, and recommend this hotel to any person that appreciates true quality. The only thing that I found distasteful during my stay was not with the Hotel Bernini Palace, per se, but rather with the female night manager. She was extremely abrupt, rude, and dismissive of guests’ questions and/or requests. I understand and converse well in Italian, so a translation issue was not the reason for her distasteful manner and lack of etiquette. However, I only had to deal with her on one occasions for the longest fifteen minutes of my life . . . The remainder of my stay at the Hotel Bernini Palace quickly allowed me to forget all about the unpleasant female night manager.

Two aspects were genuinely appreciated: (I) the hotel was ideally located in the city of Florence for engaging with this city and its incredible culture. The hotel was able to organise museum tickets at very short notice and was very helpful in this. (Ii) the hotel as very comfortable and a real pleasure to return to after a full day of seeing the things of Florence. The room was very comfortable and a pleasure to be in. The hotel provided additional refreshments in an executive lounge. This was appreciated. Breakfasts were very well catered; the service staff at breakfast were incredible. There is not much to say here. Though, to be helpful, can I suggest one thing. My wife and I had dinner at the hotel our first night. The meal was excellent as was the service. However, that grand room was far too brightly lit ... it ruined the atmosphere. Can I suggest keeping the room at a low lighting level for dinner.

Perfect location. Friendly staff. We stayed in a Deluxe room. It was quiet, and the decoration of the room is so simple, but that made us relaxed, I suppose. Poor breakfast. We got bored with the breakfast in the third morning. You might know that they indicates in their web site "Deluxe rooms overlook the inner courtyards or the narrow streets of Medieval Florence. Some overlook Piazza San Firenze and boast magnificent views of the Cathedral, Palazzo Bargello and the Badia Fiorentina Bell Tower." That is not true. We did not have any of those views. We saw a wall and exhaust ducts of a neighboring house and narrow sky. After considering that it is easy to get Ufizzi and that we could relax in our room, I would stay in another hotel if I had a chance to visit Florence again because value for money might not be so good.

Very central and helped with the ease of exploring Florence. Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Can be abit noisy on the street side for someone that battles to sleep, and the dinning area was disappointing in relation to the rest of hotel decor and setting.

The staff was amazingly welcoming, polite, helpful...not enough good adjectives to describe our interactions with the staff. The room was impeccable, and right in the heart of old Florence near all the museums, art, architecture that we came to visit.

Staff. Big beautiful room. Big bathroom. Double closet. Lobby design. Breakfast and dinner. Location. We requested inside courtyard quiet room. We got a room facing the street that was very noisy. I was not happy about that at all.

Everything was fine and I suppose the price was reasonable for the position. It is a short walk to the station to go into the Tuscan countryside. I had trouble turning the air conditioning off in my room.

The hotel is in a perfect location for everything, just steps away from the Piazza del Senora and just a short walk to the Duomo. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and the waitstaff incredibly attentive. Our room was very spacious and the real linen bedclothes were a nice touch. The staff at the front desk were surperb, very helpful in assisting with booking trains, obtaining tickets and even booking a night in Rome for us. Would most definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

I liked the style of the hotel and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I felt the bar was a bit expensive and the room a little on the small side but I understand this is nornmal for a city hotel. Decor in rooms is a bit dated. I was dissapointed that the rooftop terrace was closed so hot tub not available.

Buiding is special. Reception people were nice. And all staff is very nice, Bathrom looks like 100 years old with no shower hose. In the room and in hotel smells like mustines. I think at this value of money the hotel should be a lot renovate.

Very comfortable hotel and well located. Relaxing and luxurious rooms and breakfast room. Courteous staff. Some minor flaws which detracted from an effective weakend break. Failed to make up the room when requested. Breakfast in the room was meagre, of mediocre quality and thorughly unimpressive. As part of a romantic and relaxing weekend break this is a considerable failing. It also cost Euros 6 extra per person and was also very poor value for money.

I have just returned form a short (too short) stay at the Bernini Palace in Florence and found everything about the hotel to be excellent. The hotel welcomed my daughter and myself warmly on a freezing day in a lovely reception area. . We were indulged with a lovely superior room pure linen sheets, generous toiletries, chocolates on the pillow...what more could you ask? The breakfsst was amazing in the impressive Sala Parlamenta and served with a smile and genuine care and attention. I have nothing but the highest praise for the staff and the service. The location of the hotel could not be better as it is in the centre of everything. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks, Bernini Palace, thanks, booking.com.
