Hotel Bijou  

Perfect location and cheapest price! The rooms are large and comfortable, maitress a bit old but functional! Cleaning is ok. Doors supposed to be replaced with new ones! Hope to come back soon!

Sometimes the people weren't friendly and not much english.

Good location to reach the city center if you come by public transport to the train station of Florence. Very cheap, relatively ok for the price that you pay especially having in mind it's some 7 minutes of walking to the Duomo.

Too bad if you have to arrive by car and GPS shows you the way though the limited traffic zone. Normally the hotels have to provide the service that deletes your car number from the system of registers so that you don't get a fine (this is also that police officer told us). Unfortunately the lady in the reception was very unwilling to help and told us to leave the car in the garage nearby that charges 20€/day (and the ridiculous thing is that she directly called them there to check 'if it is possible' to help us in other way --- the answer : no). Obviously the hotels have agreements with garages and try to make the 'silly' tourists spend some extra cash for the prosperity of their town.

Mai stato in un hotel cosi scarso. Lo sconsiglio a tutti. Accoglienza orrenda...praticamente dopo una regolare prenotazione non ci volevano dare la stanza! Non mi era mai successa prima una situazione del genere...pertanto l'albergo lo sconsiglio a tutti!!! Peccato averlo trovato su questo sito!!!

חדר מעוצב די בעליבות, שומעים את כל השיחות במסדרון (אבל לא היו הרבה ולא שומעים כלום מחדרים אחרים) לא כל הרספשיוניסטים יודעים אנגלית ברמה מספקת לנהל שיחה בסיסית ביותר. שמיכה די מצוקמקת וכיסוי מיטה לא מאוד נקי

Ottima posizione, ad un passo dalla Fortezza Da Basso e vicinissimo al centro

Das Badezimmer war sehr dreckig. Im Zimmer konnten die Fenster nicht vollständig geschlossen werden. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten sehr unmotiviert und genervt.

Good location and really cheap.

The hotel is very close to the Station(Firenze smn). The woman at the reception is very kind.

The man at the counter isn't that kind. Everything seemed just worth the price.

Excellent Location

Everything is ok except the first impression with the old woman staff at the reception. She kept our passports for registration for almost an hour that makes us feel very bad since we have to go out to use it. I would recommend this one if the staff is improved.

Hotel Bijou was in a good location for key sightseeing in Firenze. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace.

The free internet service that was promised on the web-site did not exist. However, we did not feel this was worth making a formal complaint.
