This Hotel is a really beautiful **** 4stars hotel in the heart of the Center City, 15 minutes by walking from the Tower. There is a Kind, helpful hotel staff at the reception. In the room mini-bar with free mineral water, there is also in the room a water boiling kettle to have a possibility to make a tea or a coffe. At the reception all the day they offer a little selection of cookies and biscuites with a havenly taste. The breakfast was really a hearty meal, with a wide range of foods, in a really nice breakfast room, with paintings of the city on the wall, wich gave you a historical sense while having breakfast. Large, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Free bus service to and from Airport. Free Wi-Fi all around in the hotel, at the reception hall also computers for free usage with internet. This Hotel has all, what a person can wish to have a pleasant leisure.

Only problem is the route to reach the hotel, not easy at all due to some changes in the traffic with too much new one-way routes. I reccomend to call the hotel before driving there, they can help you to avoid any fines!

The room was comfortable and I was glad it was on the second floor. I like the fact that in Italy it is still possible to open windows. Reception offered to carry my bag, It was my fault that I didn't take advantage of this, however I wish he had just done so without question instead of just dashing so quickly ahead that we lost sight of him. The walls of the room were thin enough to be able to hear the bathroom being used next door to us.

The location -within walking distance of the train station and the sites. Friendly and helpful staff. Best breakfast of all the hotels we stayed in during our 2 weeks vacation. Was a bit noisy.

Hotel Bologna is clean and comfortable and the staff were very pleasant. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and had tea and coffee making facilities. The small bathroom was very clean and well equipped. Breakfast was self service, varied and nicely presented. The eating area was beautifully decorated.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, advising about shopping in the city, and the facility to leave luggage for the day after check out and booking the hotel shuttle to the airport free of charge. Excellent service all round and a lovely hot and cold buffet breakfast too - including delicious hot croissants. Will definately return with the famliy in tow next time.

This hotel is close to the city center, and the hotel staff members are very helpful. This hotel would be very well-equipped for your odd requests, like "Do you have a scale to check the weight of my luggage?" Or "where is the convenient place to get a night time snack, like muffins and tea?" The answers were, "we have two different kind of scale here. Which one would you like?" And "We have free home-made cakes in the showcase in the lobby. Also we have free Tuscany food samples from 7-9pm." This place is a very good value. They also serve some warm breakfast items, such as scrambled eggs and cooked ham/bacon. I will stay here again next time I visit Pisa. The sound from hallway can be heard in the room very clearly and vice versa. This is not that unusual for hotels in Italy. Most hotels have tile-floors so sound bounces a lot.

Free transfer to and from the airport as well as to the train station, very nice clean room, only about a 15 minute walk from the tower, free wifi, free breakfast in the morning and very friendly and helpful staff.

I found the Hotel Bologna to be a hidden gem in Pisa and its location very central. Overall a great base for a great holiday. The only issues were minor. The a/c unit in the room did not work and so the room got uncomfortably warm during the odd night. Keep in mind we stayed during the new years celebrations so if it was the height of summer I would have complained. Also, even though the staff at the front desk were helpful I felt some could have been a lot more friendly. One other thing was that the sound proofing between the rooms and hallway is terrible. The sound of luggage passing in the hallway is louder than thunder and not very welcome late at night or before sunrise.

A real friendly buzz around this place. The reception staff were very friendly and one helped me make a needed alteration to my travel plans. Internet freely available. A recomendation given for two very good nearby restaurants. Rooms are modern, cosy, with all the best satellite tv news (and none of the worst) Very happy with the Hotel Bologna

The services at the hotel are excellent, staff very polite and accomodating. Hotel is very well kept and really clean. We were offered free mineral water bottles, free capuccinos and muffins before our departure and also free shuttle service to the airport. Couldn't have asked for more at €79 a night! Would recommend this hotel any time.
