Hotel Bologna  

This Hotel is a really beautiful **** 4stars hotel in the heart of the Center City, 15 minutes by walking from the Tower. There is a Kind, helpful hotel staff at the reception. In the room mini-bar with free mineral water, there is also in the room a water boiling kettle to have a possibility to make a tea or a coffe. At the reception all the day they offer a little selection of cookies and biscuites with a havenly taste. The breakfast was really a hearty meal, with a wide range of foods, in a really nice breakfast room, with paintings of the city on the wall, wich gave you a historical sense while having breakfast. Large, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Free bus service to and from Airport. Free Wi-Fi all around in the hotel, at the reception hall also computers for free usage with internet. This Hotel has all, what a person can wish to have a pleasant leisure.

The hotel was well located near to shops/bars and restaurants and only a 10-15 min walk from the train station and the Tower. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with maps, information etc. and restaurant recommendations. We particularly liked the terrace overlooking the courtyard which was ideal for a pre- (and post-) dinner glass of Chianti!

For a city hotel it was very peaceful. An interesting 15 minute walk from the Duomo and Leaning Tower. Good shopping and eating within easy reach. Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful.

The hotel was clean and perfect location for our short trip to Piza, the breakfast was excellent, we had a tasting session on the Saturday afternoon as we booked in, great!

The hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, the room was lovely and the staff so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and the taste of Tuscanny which was complimentary in the bar in the evenings a welcome touch.

Only downsize was that the English channels on the tv had no signal.

Excellant location. Good facilities. Shuttle service from airport. Free 'taste of Tuscany' food and drink every evening. Good breakfast - continental plus bacon and eggs. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Safe in room

Quiet but central location, excellent Internet connection, Room was pleasant but small.

The location to the rail station to get to Firenza, the location to the airport.

I cant understand why its a 4 star. No pool, no spa, no fitness room, no restaurant, no iron in the room, no milk in the room, no view from the window. If it wasnt for a leaning tower Piza would not be on the map. The shopping area is a joke and there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful , our room was comfortable and within easy reach of the sight seeing spots we were interested in.

It was perfect. High level of services. Quiet, clean and nicely arranged room. Nice living room at the entrance. Professional and dedicated staff with a warm welcome, full of attentions. A wonderful breakfast. And a perfect location (10 min's walk from the station, 10 min's walk from the Tower)

Maybe a small point that could be improved: more indications in the streets of how to reach the parking of the hotel by car (because it is a limited trafic area around the hotel); but definitively not a huge problem if you have a car.

Comfort and style of rooms. Quiet. Enjoyed the complimentary Tuscan snacks available in the evening.

Only one member of reception of staff on duty at 8.45am which made checking out slow.
