Hotel Broglia  

We visited in September 2011 when it was 5 degrees warmer than usual and loved their pool, especially the thick sunbed sponges, and that the pool was fairly secluded. Great location for the Sirmione peninsula, superb hotel veranda on ground floor, most rooms have their own balcony - ours was very large - on the first floor. We recommend rooms at the front. Parking on site is free and secure. Good location for restaurants, shops, lakeside walks in Sirmione. We ate at Scala restaurant by the castle entrance and the food was beautiful (including local fish), and staff so helpful.

It's location was ideal - within walking distance of all that matters in Sirmione but in a quiet spot.

The pool was dirty and neglected.

Great location!! Nice hotel and nice pool area. The hotel rooms was ok. We got two rooms in 3rd floor with big terrace and nice seaview. Many room has no seaview and small terrace.

The hotel personnel could not a english word. I don't expect fluent english, but some words......

Excellent location with free parking. Friendly hotel staff. Olde worlde charm if a little faded.

Pool and surround need refurbishment.

It was very quiet. Our room had a balcony with a view of Lake Garda. The room was well equipped.

The wi-fi did not reach our room. No information was offered about hotel facilities. The photo on the booking.com website suggested it was by the lake- in fact it was 150 metres from the lake edge and separated from it by two roads and other hotels.

Great location in great town!!! You can come by car with hotel booking wich is quite uncofortable because of narrow streets, but it worth. Nice trace and pool. Value for money.

We were pleasantly surprised by the location. The hotel is a five minute walk from the thermal baths and 5-10 minutes from the castle. It is situated inside the castle walls, has a beautiful view of the lake, and great balconies where you can watch the sun rise/set. Our recommendation...even though the hotel has free parking, park outside of the castle walls or else you'll be sitting in traffic for a while.

Camera spaziosa e pulita, anche se con mobili abbastanza vecchiotti. Personale dello staff molto disponibile e cortese.

La struttura è decisamente vecchia, in particolare la moquette, che fra l'altro viene aspirata saltuariamente. Colazione con poco assortimento, decisamente non da 4 stelle.

L'albergo non è all'altezza delle stelle assegnate. è vecchio, struttura decadente. Camera che puzza di chiuso, scarsa pulizia. Staff maleducato, colazione sufficiente . Non ci andate! C'è di meglio a minor prezzo.

Hotel triste, camere come loculi e vecchie, colazione da lasciare perdere. Che non dichiarino parcheggio privato, mi hanno fatto parcheggiare sul fianco dell'hotel, ed alla mattina, la strada di accesso era piena di auto parcheggiate, non potevo uscire e non sapevano, per una delle auto chi fosse il proprietario, perso 3/4 d'ora. L'accesso all'hotel prevede l'attraversamento del paese, tra l'altro con una fiumana di persone, che giustamente si stavano godendo la passeggiata e non capivano come mai vi fosse un auto in transito sull'isola pedonale.direi no comment

Un po' antiquato nell'arredamento, un po' povero il set da bagno (saponetta, cuffia e shampoo)
