The hotels design, the helpful staff, the location
This was the most enjoyable stay on our 2-week trip to Rome, Florence and Venice. The Brunelleschi is perfectly located in a quiet cul-de-sac which amazingly is only minutes to the busy Duomo. Staff are helpful and smiling, rooms are comfortable with all mod con, and the small restaurant is a gem. The hotel is truly one of a kind, representing the best of Florence and Tuscany. Unconditionally highly recommended!
Nothing...but a tip: some bedrooms have steps inside the door, so if you can't tackle that ask for a room without steps.
My son is studying abroad in Rome. I went to visit and we jumped a train to Florence. Found this hotel last minute and was blown away at how amazing it was! And I travel constantly. I really can't say enough good things about the rooms, location, staff and amazing breakfast! We stayed 3 days and it was heaven! Don't pass this sweet jewel of a hotel by, it's a five star hotel at an affordable price, smack in the middle of EVERYTHING!
We loved this hotel - very central, with a lovely atmosphere. Amazingly the hotel upgraded our room to a suite and it was just fantastic. Unbelieveably comfortable beds, beautiful views, fabulous bathroom & lounge area - just brilliant all round.
Its location! Quality, modern refurbishments Great facilities Friendly, helpful staff
Main restaurant downstairs wasn't to our taste Price of rooms has gone up a lot
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was a bonus. We ate at the hotel on two occasions and the food and service was excellent. Very good choice of breakfast buffet. Florence is a lovely city.
We were upgraded to a junior suite. No room in the tower lovely room, excellent amenities. Modern decorating. Comfortable and quiet.
Very dark. Located in corner of inner streets. Room was so dark despite windows. Airless too. Although good ac. We changed to hotel on river
Hotel with very central location. Actually, I wake up by Duomo cathedral. it's very unusual alarm clock. :) Hotel isn't big but very clean, amazing rooms(from some rooms you can see Doumo). I think it's luxury. All sightseeings are reached by walk, so you can see very unusual city - full of history(Leonardo, Michelangelo, ...). So if you want to explore renaissance and ,of course, Italian's cuisine :), it's the best hotel.
Location is very central, lots to do walking around, very nice staff and helpful, very good hotel, we had a great suite with views of piazza duomo and the museo
If you are driving, it is very hard to find and get to, as i turned around four times before finding it!
The perfect base for a city break. Luxurious.
The staff were fantastic
Loved the decor, cleanliness, wifi facilities and the food was more than perfect
Nice rooms. Great staff.
No real business center.
Too expensive compare with other hotels within 0.5 mile range.
service very slow, food mediocre, room very small, no bath only shower , no space for clothing
location and overall quality of hotel
no free wi-fi
location staff charm and warmth
perfect, central location which makes it possible to do everything by foot. beautiful, spacious room with stunning view! best buffet breakfast I have ever had in an Italian hotel.
internet connecting in the room not very fast and expensive mini bar
Car park is expensive
The staff were nice and very considerate and they gave us a box of Italian chocolate due to the misunderstanding. The hotel location is very convenience.
We stayed at the room with the side view of Duomo chapel but we don't think it's worth for money as you will not face to the view in the room. Also, the restaurant is not as good as others outside the hotel.
Was very central to everything. The hotel was very well maintained. The staff were very obliging.
The exorbitant bar costs. We would have happily stayed indoors for our drinks of an afternoon had they been reasonable. However, we sought other more reasonable venues.m
The location of the hotel was excellent. Spacious rooms etc. Staff great.
The breakfast included in the room rate was okay, nothing extraordinary but sufficient. Prices of drinks in the bar were over the top, hardly saw anyone drinking there and I understand why. We bought (1) round of drinks (4 people) 66 euro. If they dropped their prices then I am sure people would frequent the bar more and enjoy the atmosphere. They must lose a lot of custom simply because the price of drinks are too expensive and people drink elsewhere away from the hotel.
The hotel staff is amazing. The decoration is amazing. Everything was perfect at Brunelleschi and we highly recommend this hotel. We'll definitely return when we visit Florence again.
