Het gehele personeel was vriendelijk en correct.De locatie is super, vooral als je de stad in wilt om te winkelen en/of te wandelen.Heel fijn om tussen het winkelen door even snel terug naar het hotel te gaan.Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd en de cappuccino was heerlijk! Niet tevreden waren we nergens over, maar het heeft wel even geduurd voordat we door hadden hoe we onze kamer konden vinden. We hadden twee 1-persoonskamers (helaas niet naast elkaar, wat wel ons verzoek was bij de boeking) op de vierde verdieping.Om daar te komen moest je een aantal trapjes omhoog, een lange gang door, dan door de ontbijtzaal en de internetruimte lopen en dan weer een paar trapjes op voordat je de (juiste) lift had gevonden.Het is een hotel met heel veel trapjes. Eigenlijk wel een beetje een doolhof.Voor de rest is het een mooi oud gebouw waar iedere dag een gids met een groep voor de deur staat om er een verhaal over te vertellen.Voor het centrum volgens ons het hotel met de mooiste uitstraling! |

Attent personeel, centrale ligging ( wel niet eenvoudig te vinden ), " cosy " atmosfeer die het complex buiten en binnen uitsraalt. Prima verzorgd ontbijt. Geen restaurant, maar die vind je vanaf 50 m loopafstand. Onmogelijkheid om via webmail mijn mails op te halen. Geraakte niet voorbij Telenet ( unsafe volgens geprogrammeerde configuratie ). |

Vooral de ligging, midden in het historische centrum van Firenze, maakt dit hotel zo interessant. Alles is zo dichtbij en daardoor te voet bereikbaar. |

Location, near center of Florence. The exterior of hotel and front desk are beautiful; staff is very friendly and helpful. The carpeting was very dirty and stained. The shower curtain was stained,worn and dirty. Hotel room was worn out, and is no longer a 4 star hotel. I wouldn't even give the room a 2 star based on the carpeting. |

Situated very close to the city center to explore museums, galleries ect. Comfortable, clean junior suite, spacious (two rooms). Friendly, well english speaking staff, delicious breakfast ( included hot meal), tastefully decorated rooms. |

Service was exceptional, as was the location. I had to hire a taxi to lead us to it, but that was more a function of the convoluted streets in old Florence and WELL worth the bother! |

Breakfast was worth the money. Good pillows. Centrally located, which was nice. WiFi access was a plus. Tube hair dryer should be replaced with a proper hair dryer in the bathroom. The standard European plugs do not fit in the electrical sockets. |

The Hotel itself is beautiful and is very deserving of it;s 4 star rating. It truly feels like a top hotel. The Lobby and facade of the builing are gorgeous and the rooms are quite nice as well. They have fabulous bathrooms and eve if you are street side, the noise and excitement from the crowds below are a wonderful way to fall asleep. The breakfast was good but not great. |

Beautiful Hotel, excellent location, great staff, delicious breakfast, spacious rooms nicely decorated, fantastic washroom, large closet space. All the staff were superb. Internet access in beautiful lounge area. Absolutely cannot say enough about how great it was. |

The hotel was located right in the middle of a lovely area of Florence. We had a lovely view of the piazza, with it's brightly lit carousel and wonderful restaurants. The Duomo is just around the corner. In fact, we were able to walk to just about everything we wished to see. The hotel itself is lovely with it's tall ceilings, fabric lined walls, marble bathrooms and old world charm. |

Helpful and efficient staff. Cleanliness of the room and an excellent bathroom. Extremely convenient situation. Quiet at night. No view, but offset by quiet surroundings. |

The room was not on the quiet side of the hotel as I suggest when I did the booking. It was very noisy, specialy on saturday night. The coffee and the breakfast itself are horrible. It is not a luxurious 4 stars hotel; it's just a hotel near the center. |

The best part of our stay was Paulo, he was very nice to us and took care of our needs. This hotel is very close to major attractions. Yes, we had booked a double room and on the 1st night they were fully booked and put us in a single room. The bartender is very rude and thinks as if he owns the place. The breakfast: on a scale of 1 to 10 was a 4 - not good at all. |
