Beautiful rooms lot of space in the room,good bed,clean and the room was very quiet.

The bathroom from room 605 had not any space to put your toothbrush or make up of something else and the entrance of the bathroom is not easy whith the two doors and step the older people had some problems with it.In the breakfastroom is a kitchen where the dishes are washed by hand it makes a lot of noise.I hope this is a temporary solution,it fits not in the old design of the hotel and is irritating.

It was very centrally based in Venice and a good position to walk to many places. You had the central position but not the noise which you would have had if the hotel was on the Grand Canal. It was pretty from the outside and lived up to the photograph on the internet.

We booked a room which stated views of the canal - you could see these but only if you really hung out of the window - it was'nt as good as the written description I had read - the staff were not as friendly as described either - after a frosty begining they did get friendlier as the week progressed.

Great location, nice public areas

There was no aircon. Hotel staff mumbled some sort of explanation of why was the case, they did not apologise or try to rectify, which was not very professional. It was a hot May week and so it was difficult to sleep at night

The location is perfect for walking to points of interest,restaurants etc. The hotel itself is beautifully restored, spotless and very comfortable. The service within the hotel was excellent. Our grandaughters were charmed by their attic room. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

english thing could do with tea making facilaties also drink on early departure made tea when asked but had to pay even though we had to leave before breakfast

Overall style and layout of hotel. Hotel offered upgraded room for no additional charge with additional benefits.

Extemely clean, friendly and helpful staff. Well positioned for St Mark's Square.

The breakfast was not an American style breakfast as advertised. Watch out if you get offered the complementary trip to Murano, they don't tell you that you have to find your own way back!

the room was too small

The staff were most polite and extremely helpful with any requests we made. We were given an upgrade, without us asking for it, to a magnificent "Superior Suite"We actually thought I had made a mistake with the booking and the total price was the daily rate.

possibly, given the confusing narrow and dark approaches,a few signs for the hotel would not go amiss as,indeed, many other hotels have done. That said, atotally enjoyable stay. I am sure we will return.
