In a 15th-century building on the Grand Canal, Pesaro Palace is next to the Ca' d'Oro water bus stop. It offers Venetian-style rooms with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and flat-screen TV.
Score from 1601 reviews Excellent
Hotel Ca' Alvise is in a historic building with Venetian Baroque interiors. It is near the Opera House, 65 ft from the Fenice Theater, and a 10-minute walk from Saint Mark’s Square.

The standart room was small. Not enough place at breakfast as it s a tiny breakfast room.
Location is brilliant. Decor charming. Breakfast good. Staff are very efficient. Porter excellent. Organisation of private water taxi excellent.
Paid wifi - all our other hotels offered it free. Also intermittent wifi service. Website says ironing service available but it wasn't. Staff could be more interactive with guests to inform them about tours, day trips, and find out what guests want.
Location. Comfort in rooms.
WiFi for money...:(
Staff were kind. Free boiling water.
The triple room was the worst I've ever seen. The pictures on booking.com is very misleading. I thought the triple room had 2 floors with beds on each floor, but the reality was disappointing. The single bed was in a narrow corridor, which was almost the same width and length as the bed. I really wonder how they tucked the bed in there. Shower was small, wifi was super slow though it was paid.
Location, air conditionar.
Very poor breakfast, the breakfast was supposed to be until 10:30 but at 10:00 there was nothing left on tables. The lady that was serving the breakfast had cold and was touching all glasses and dishes by hand.
good locatoin,helpful staff,nice breakfast.
facility is old
Nice decor with real Venetian feel..good breakfast and staff. Nice size room and bathroom.
Rooms nicely decorated and hotel quiet cute.
The Tripple room advertised and ordered is not the room you get you get a double room squashed with a fold away bed so and they blamed booking.com saying they dont have tipple rooms and we are in a tipple room, yet when you look at the double room they are the same so don't waste your money. Specified not 3 single beds and they just pushed two single beds together and they were like sleeping on cement and the pillows were rocks. Very hard to find back lane not marked easily to find had to ask locals. Hotel blamed Booking.com for everything even though there site states the same they could not answer that sufficiently, basically we paid for something we did not get.
Right on a small canal (you walk across a picturesque bridge to reach front door), the hotel is 5 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square & the nearest vaporetto stop. Room decor seemed elegant Venetian of a bygone era but with all the modern amenities. A bit hard to find at first but worth it!
Free Wifi would have been nice
Nice location and the room was beautiful, bed was comfortable, and was very clean
The wifi is available to you only for 30 mins free, per room for your entire stay. Also the price to pay for wifi is outrageous. It was extremely inconvenient. Also, the "free" breakfast has hidden fees. There were eggs and breakfast meat "available". However, there is a tiny sign not even near the eggs/meat stating extra charge per person for eggs and meat. The eggs were terrible and tasted like they were dipped in salt. Also, the front door is locked after midnight according to the staff, my travel mate and I were unaware of the "locking out" and were locked out for 20 mins waiting for the front desk staff to wake up as he was sleeping while working.
Niko met us outside and explained everything. He took us to our room and showed us the suite. We didn't pay for. What an upgrade. It was the suite from the website, and it was beautiful. Like a 17th century palace. Wonderful breakfast! And a grand feel. Plus, all the help you need from Desk. And directions led us right to it.
Good spacious room Location Friendly Staff Free Trip to Murano Glass Factory
I wouldn't have liked to stay in every room as some seemed small and opened out on to the reception or breakfast room
Perfect location. Great staff. If you don't know where to stay in Venice, stay at this hotel. The staff are helpful and kind.
That hotel has good situation. It is near San Marco square and other famous places in Venice. Nice interior. as for me I liked all.
Staff not very helpful (one in particular) and just not a very good hotel in general.. can't say i recomend it
a big room with tv room inside. canal view
no water pressure for hot water to shower even we are on the 1st floor. staff are cool. no 'bridge' prepared at the entrance since venice is flooding. charge €10 for water proof boot cover is not a good idea. suggest to add in room rate or top up hot stuff in breakfast
Location is wonderful. Althought we stayed not in the main building our room was very spacy and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Price is very fare
The mirrors ! Everything is so nice and beautiful but mirrors are somehow seem so ugly wirh spots
Very centrally located; very nice room for a very reasonable Price, seemed newly renovated
partly bored and unfriendly staff, specifically during breakfast and at reception.
Close proximity to everything. Peaceful. Huge family room, clean and comfortable. Staff helpful.
A very basic breakfast-it was adequate that's all and hot food 10 euros extra which no one seemed to partake of. There were bedrooms off the breakfast room too which I would think would make those rooms noisy.
Nice and comfortable room Great roof terrace Excellent staff
Room large and well fitted. Breakfast and breakfast room on first floor.
A delightful hotel, in a quiet but central location, very relaxed ambiance,an old and interesting building with wonderful decor and a helpful and humorous staff. The best breakfast we have seen in Italy ! We arrived tired and upset having been ripped off by a water taxi, Vladimir at front desk said " I want you to be happy in Venice", and upgraded us to an amazing suite. Very good value for money, and truly a haven in the tourist Bedlam of Venice.
The hotel staff were wonderful and very helpful. Our room was lovely and breakfast was very nice. This was a Great way to end a 14 day Italy visit. We loved the old European feel of the hotel from the furnishings to the stained glass windows. Just marvelous!
Our room was only accessed through steep narrow stairs, which was acceptable but not ideal. Like many hotels in Venice, the Ca' dei Conti is tucked away in a warren of narrow streets. It is reasonably easy to access once you decipher the location, but step by step directions from the best water taxi stop would help!
Good location close to the square. Helpful staff Spacious room Spa bath
Room was a little too warm. Probably in between the seasons
