Staff in this hotel were the best I have experienced. They couldn't do enough to help us during our stay. Everyone from cleaning ladies, bar staff and receptionists were very helpful and friendly. Hotel facilities were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon in Hotel Calabona. They also provided free champagne in the room when they realised we were on honeymoon! Nothing to dislike. It is about a 20 min walk into the centre of the town alongside the beautiful coast so if you don't like walking then you may find the hotel a bit far out, but we found it lovely walk in the evening before and after dinner. |

The coffee from the coffee-machine at breakfast was very poor. Fortunatly the waiter had an other pot with decent coffee. |

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the view outstanding. The location is almost unique. We will certainly come back during the summer. |

Little or nothing. The price (crazy price - very expensive for the level of comfort and facilities on offer); the location (too far from the centre of Alghero); the room (20 years out of date); the staff, (distant; seemed to take very little interest in the guests); breakfast (very poor- no hot food); not at all what we were expecting. |

The only plus point with Hotel Calabona is its location to the old town being a 20 minute walk. If Hotel Calabona is a 4 star hotel, I would hate to stay in a 3 star in Alghero. The hotel itself needs major updating. The rooms are furnished with curtains, bed spreads and carpets that appear to have not changed for over 20 years. The hotel is expensive and offers no value for money whatsoever. If you have a car, I would avoid this hotel at all costs. |

it was actually too far away from centre as we had my father who is 80 and not able to walk far so we had to drive him into centre for beach and restaurants as calabona beach was only tiny and as stated unsuitable for him to get too otherwise the hotel was excellent |

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is right outside the town, so it is quiet. This is not a 4* star hotel by my standards, and the value for money is not good enough. The rooms are not in very good condition, small and very outdated. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful . The breakfast was of a good standard and served in lovely surroundings on the outside patio area. The pool area was well maintained as was the private beach. The location was good although outside the old town the walk along the costal promenade to reach it was very pleasant. |

Very goo location, food was great and some staff members were very helpful. Cleanliness of the hotel could have been better, more services could have been offered considering it was a 4 star hotel as well as more english signs around the hotel would have been useful and the interior decoration of the hotel was pretty dark using brighter colours could lead to better mood of customers. |

Location was great - quiet, away from the town, but what a beautiful scenic walk back into town. Sound of the sea at night was lovely too. Staff helpful also, especially the arrangements they have if you have a late flight - you are allowed use of some of the hotels' facilities While always clean, it really is in need of a decor update - straight out of the 70s! This was not an issue in the room, but in the bar and restaurant, which was unfortunately in the basement of the hotel. Aside from breakfast however, we only ate there once, as Alghero is so great for food! |

With every room having a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean or the garden, this elegant 5-star hotel also offers various leisure facilities, a panoramic bar and exclusive car hire for guests. |
Oasis is a modern hotel situated on the Alghero Fertilia Coast near a beautiful municipal pine wood which separates it from a delightful and peaceful beach. |
Friendly and helpful staff will welcome you to this modern 3-star hotel, set in front of Lido di San Giovanni beach and just a short walk to the historic centre. |
This completely renewed establishment is directly located on the main road in front of Alghero's Lido Sandy Beach, and offers a magnificent view comprising the old town and the coastline. |
