Hôtel contruit en " u". De ce fait beaucoup de résonnances entre les 2 facades.La plage de l'Hôtel est en fait une petite crique sans aucun confort. Les 2 piscines mentionnées ne sont en réalité qu'une , puisque la deuxième n'est qu'un minuscule bassin pour enfant.Aucune isolation phonique entre les chambres. Vaux mieux ne pas avoir de voisins !! |

le coucher du soleil depuis le balcon de la chambre cet hôtel correspont plus à un 3* plutôt qu'à un 4*, beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est. |

La vue de la chambre était belle. C'était propre, la piscine a une vraie grande profondeur (2m80). Il est proche du centre historique (sauf sous un soleil de plomb), mais suffisamment loin pour que éviter le bruit. Il a été rénové récemment, visiblement, mais avec les critères d'il y a 20 à 30 ans. Le mobilier et la déco sont loin d'être à la page, il fonctionne encore avec des clefs et pas des cartes, il n'y a pas moyen de régler la clim de la chambre. |

Staff in this hotel were the best I have experienced. They couldn't do enough to help us during our stay. Everyone from cleaning ladies, bar staff and receptionists were very helpful and friendly. Hotel facilities were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon in Hotel Calabona. They also provided free champagne in the room when they realised we were on honeymoon! Nothing to dislike. It is about a 20 min walk into the centre of the town alongside the beautiful coast so if you don't like walking then you may find the hotel a bit far out, but we found it lovely walk in the evening before and after dinner. |

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the view outstanding. The location is almost unique. We will certainly come back during the summer. |

The price (crazy price - very expensive for the level of comfort and facilities on offer); the location (too far from the centre of Alghero); the room (20 years out of date); the staff, (distant; seemed to take very little interest in the guests); breakfast (very poor- no hot food); not at all what we were expecting. |

The only plus point with Hotel Calabona is its location to the old town being a 20 minute walk. If Hotel Calabona is a 4 star hotel, I would hate to stay in a 3 star in Alghero. The hotel itself needs major updating. The rooms are furnished with curtains, bed spreads and carpets that appear to have not changed for over 20 years. The hotel is expensive and offers no value for money whatsoever. If you have a car, I would avoid this hotel at all costs. |

it was actually too far away from centre as we had my father who is 80 and not able to walk far so we had to drive him into centre for beach and restaurants as calabona beach was only tiny and as stated unsuitable for him to get too otherwise the hotel was excellent |
