Completely renovated in 2011, Hotel Charleston is set in a 17th-century building in Spoleto’s centre, next to the Modern and Contemporary Arts Museum. Its elegant, individually-decorated rooms feature a modern design. Wi-Fi is free in all public areas. Rooms are individually decorated, and come with exposed wooden beams on the ceilings. Each is equipped with a minibar, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. A buffet breakfast is available each morning, and is served out on the terrace in warm weather. In the evening, you can enjoy a fine wine in the hotel's refined bar. The property has retained many of its original features, including an antique fireplace, always lit during winter. Guests also have access to a sauna with relaxation area. Staff at the Charleston offer a bike rental service and recommendations on the best places to visit in Spoleto. We stayed at the hotel on other occasions and loved it. The hotel made good renovations and added energy saving measures in the guest rooms. They honoured our request for a large, matrimonial room. The staff were friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the added benefit of the hotel sauna. We shall return! Vera and Emmanuel

Everything about the hotel was lovely. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely and our hostess in the breakfast room was charming and very accommodating. Everyone at the front desk was helpful...and a special thank you to Christiana for being so much fun. I will never forget cento vente uno! This is a charming hotel in a terrific location within a lovely city. We hope to go back to Spoleto.

Welcoming staff,very helpful when we tried to find a low sugar drink for diabetic son from bar. The room was spacious,clean and comfortable.The breakfast was better then the average continental ones we have had,with a good selection of meats cheese,pastries and cakes.We only stayed for one night ,but could have gladly stayed longer.

A comfortable, well-run hotel, which we enjoyed staying in. We had a lovely room, with small balcony. Although near one of the main roads into Spoleto, it was quiet at night. The hotel is right in the old city of Spoleto, a fascinating and lovely old city, with plenty of sights to visit, plus beautiful mountain walks easily accessible from the hotel. The staff were friendy and helpful, the breakfast good and the room comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The shower could do with improving - water pressure low.

Ottima posizione dell'hotel, camera veramente confortevole e staff molto gentile. Le bottigliette d'acqua sul comò sembravano un omaggio di benvenuto, in realtà si pagano pur non essendo indicato da nessuna parte il prezzo (non contesto il fatto che si debbano pagare, come avviene in tutti gli hotel, ma che ciò non venga segnalato; ad ogni modo, più che una critica è un consiglio per il futuro)

Die Zimmer zum großen Platz waren groß und hoch, sauber. In der Nacht ruhig. Die Zimmer in die hintere Seitengasse waren durch den Lärm eines naheliegenden Restaurants (Live-Musik bis 3 Uhr früh) stark eingeschränkt.

All'arrivo il personale femminile è stato estremamente cortese disponibile e ci ha risolto tutti I problemi logistici. La camera pulita era pronta ed accogliente. Ci hanno consigliato un ristorante convenzionato con loro Al bacco Felice. Da evitare. Abbiamo aspettato più di 50 minuti per acqua e pane e poi nell'ordinazione hanno fatto molti errori. In ultimo il check out è stato sgradevole poco gentile e quando la mia Visa non funzionava (ha sempre funzionato) mi ha detto è un suo problema. Colpa del personale maschile che ci ha servito

Reception " portiere " molto gentile e disponibile . Per motivi di lavoro sono arrivato tardi ma l'accoglienza è stata molto professionale e cordiale . Posizione molto vicina al centro . Garage privato. Camera accogliente e pulita. Magari un grado in più di temperatura in camera nn avrebbe guastato.
