The front desk staff were amazing - Particularly Francesca - there were also a couple of male staff at different times of day that were always pleasant and very helpful. The staff that were present at breakfast again were very pleasant - my inability to speak Italian (beyond hello/goodbye, thank you) prevented me from connecting with them any further. They were always friendly and attentive.

The location just outside the walls of the old town is good The facilities were in poor condition and needed maintenance. A faded hotel requires better cleaning and no serious attempt was being made at cleaning many areas and the drainage in the room did not work well.

Location was very good just outside the old town of Spoleto, Staff were friendly and breakfast good although fresh rolls not always available. The various rooms in the hotel were decorated with posters from previous festivals and added a stylish touch. Air conditioning in bedroom not working properly and coffee (Americano) at breakfast not good.

Hotel Clarici was situated in a very good location, central to the town and close proximity to the station (ten minute walk). It was ideal for our purpose, as a stop over to the Mount Sibilini area. Spoleto is a lovely town and worth visiting. Comfortable rooms and very clean. Staff very friendly and were of great assistance to us when we arrived late at night and could not find a taxi at the station. They also helped us when encountered a problem with our hire car the following day. Also, they were very knowledgeable about the area and even recommended a restaurant in the next village we were visiting. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly and arranged for us to have a room with a balcony, and were very helpful when we spilled wine on our bed! Oops! Breakfast was basic but sufficient, they need to improve the coffee too. Hotel could be noisy at night as it is situated next to a piazza where the locals like to meet! Very handy for the buses, to go up to the historical part of town, and the train station is a 10 min walk, easy. Would be better to have tea making facilities in the room, no real lounge to sit in or terrace, the bathroom had on occasion an unpleasant smell, from the antiquated drains no doubt!

Very helpful staff, who were very welcoming, gave me a city map straightaway, and answered many of my questions. Superb location just on one of the main squares, so it was easy to access both the bus and train stations, as well as enjoy the festivities in the town. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was extremely friendly. My wife stayed there with our baby while I stayed in a different place nearby for work reasons. They gave my wife a double room at the price of a single room. I was visiting all the time but nobody minded. We could keep our stroller in the lobby without problems. The hotel is in an easy-to-reach location in the valley of Spoleto while not being far from the upper town. The room had a wonderful view and a balcony. There is a pleasant family-style restaurant next to the hotel (Sportellino). The furniture and equipment is somewhat worn but that's ok for the class of the hotel. When we arrived, a table had some stains from a glass that hadn't been cleaned properly. My wife spent a couple of minutes cleaning some surfaces with hygienic tissues and afterwards she felt fine, but of course you would rather see this not happening. Afterwards the roomkeeping was good.

We easily found the hotel. The staff was friendly and gave advise for our city tour on foot. It was raining and we manage with umbrellas to reach the centro of the city and enjoy a nice meal. We had a delicious breakfast and will stay there again.

Good location - 10 min walk from station and close to historical area and town escalator. Nice hotel, nice staff. Brekky was yummy Italian pastries and fresh coffee with a spread of bread, fruit, yoghurt, ham & cheese. We looked over a park in town and if you went out onto the terrace u could see the castle. Good value. Windows very dirty so nice outlook was obscured. Breakfast started at 8 which wasn't convnenient for us but they came in early one morning for us which was very nice.

Great location. Walking distance to Pompei Scarvi. Very central indeed. Hotel gentleman was more than helpful when we locked room keys in. Went out of his way to get into room. Hotel very close to the best pizza in the world! And only 4 euros for a pizza! We had to have two! Parking right in front of hotel. Air conditioning a bonus as was hot in Pompei. Rooms very clean and spacious. Internet connection excellent.
