The staff was extremely helpful and gave us good advice about restaurants in the neighborhood. The location was excellent as it was walking distance to all the major sights in Florence. The shopping market at San Lorenzo was so close it was wonderful. the room was spacious and clean. It was filled with antique- looking furniture and felt very European. |

The hotel was very clean and ideally situated in the heart of Florence with all the attractions within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helped out when looking for local restaurants |

We appreciated that nadine, the receptionist was prepared to wait for us to check in after 11 o'clock at night. In fact, she spontaneously indicated her willingness to do so when we told her how late our flight was scheduled to arrive in florence. Nadine was extremely pleasant and always willing to help by booking tours and taxis. The proximity of the hotel to all the major attractions was also a great advantage. The rooms and the public areas of the hotel were tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean and well maintained. All the other staff we encountered were courteous, friendly and most helpful. We enjoyed a perfect stay. Just as a suggestion - it would be nice to have coffee making facilities in the rooms!! |

Hotel Collodi, was very nice place to stay in Florence, the room where my husband and I stayed was very, very beautiful, the bath was superb (like a 5 star hotel) the rooms very clean, the interior for room was very beautiful and clean. The breakfast was good especially the coffee and milk were served very hot every morning. Mr. Giovanni, was a very loveable person. I would return to hotel collodi in the next future. Keep it up. |

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very attractive and I liked the rooftop patio. The breakfast was comparable to other hotels I stayed in. The room was very comfortable and roomy. The location was near the Lorenzo Market which I enjoyed exploring. I thought this hotel was more like the three star hotels I stayed in. |

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location was good---a quick walk to the central market and Duomo. Our room and bathroom (which had a nice big shower) were clean and well-appointed, and appeared to have been recently updated. The breakfast, except for the croissants, consisted of prepackaged items. |

Very nice rooms with character. Breakfast was the best that I experienced in Italy Stairs a little long. But this is what you expect in an old hotel in an old city. |

Very comfortable hotel and convenient to all attractions in Florence. Manager Giovanni super friendly and helpful. Not close to train station, but taxi not expensive. Would stay there again. |

The rooms are large and comfortable. Location quite good for a visitor to Florence. Airconditioning, free internet, friendly staff. The breakfast. The food and drinks offered are very sweet and poor quality. There should be some healthier options. It's way below the standard of the rest of the facilities in the hotel. |

Very kind staff. Exceptionally furnishing – old time atmosphere. Perfect air conditioning. Very conveniently position – 100 m from the piti and ufici palases. Clean. Poor breakfast – like all Italian hotels. |

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Our room is large with all facilities needed eg. air cond, refrigerator. I think it should be a 3 star hotel at least (not 2 star as it's rated) The lift is a little bit too small, but at least there is . |

Made to feel welcome, quiet comfortable room, good location - close to station and in walking distance to all Florence sites. Definately would recommend. - If you have time, take the opportunity to visit Pisa (11 euro return from Florence on the train) then free bus to the tower from station. |

The room was lovely and the location was great (very near both the station and duomo put in a street a little of the beaten track). The staff were very helpful and the whole stay was pleasant, I would really recommend this hotel. The breakfast was very basic and there was some street noise (though we slept with the window open, if you shut the window and used the air conditioning this noise would probably be illiminated). |

The staff was wonderful and helpful, room was spacious including a loft with a bed, and the hotel is very central for walking. Great value. Street noise can be quite loud if you leave the windows open - however they can be shut tightly and there is AC |

The room was excellent, very big, clean and new. We even got a room with a seating area and two additional beds up a staircase we had in our room. The location is very good; very easy walk to get anywhere in the historic area of Florence, and at night just one block away from the hotel there are a few restaurants all together where a very nice atmosphere forms and the food was good. The little personnel we saw (only one person per shift?!) was very nice and helpful, and they do everything needed to run the hotel perfectly; I guess that helps explains why it was such a great value for the quality of the room and the location. |
