Hotel Collodi  

Staffs are all very nice, funny and helpful. They provided everything that I need, it really thoughtful and sweet. The room is big enough for two, and the ac, WiFi, tv are all work perfectly well!! We stayed in this hotel over one week, and the housekeeping change towels and cleaning the room everyday. The location of hotel is also the best, 7 mins work to train station, 5 mins work to the city center. Moreover, there have two wonderful restaurants just right next to hotel, you can try the best Florence's dishes in there. This is the best hotel ever, it's a big plus during my trip in Florence. When I have chance to visit Florence again, I will definitely going to chose Hotel Collodi.

Almost flawless. Only one thing, I don't like the breakfast coffee, it's just too sour for me.

Hotel Collodi is a fabulous Hotel in a perfect location to enjoy and absorb all the beauty Florence has to offer. The Hotel is situated on a quiet street which is meters away from Piazza San Lorenzo, we received a very warm, friendly welcome on arrival and shown to our beautiful room on the front of the Hotel. All the staff are fantastic and we will certainly return to Hotel Collodi in the future!

The hot water was very difficult to control in the shower, going from warm to scalding. A little difficult to arrive by car (driving without knowing the area as most tourists)

We enjoyed a very good time at Collodi Hotel. The hotel, according to Florence culture, has a sober and warm decoration at its hallways and rooms; it is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was various and good. The Wi-Fi service runs perfect. It has a very helpful and polite staff at Giovanni´s command that offers to the guest the best Italian hospitality. The location is very good; about 10 minutes to Santa Maria Novella train station and San Lorenzo Church (opposite directions) and 15 minutes to the Duomo. At the neighborhood, safe, you can do some shopping, have dinner and fun. Highly recommendable.

I liked the large room and bathroom. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The price was fantastic. A 5-minute walk from Academia (David).

The hotel is very well located, close to several spots: Central Market (with a lot of restaurants in the Piazza), Basilica di San Lorenzo and Duomo, Galleria dell'Academia). The staff is very helpfull and friendly.

Very nice hotel, and perfect service. The location is convenient as well. Wonderful experience!

Located near everything in the centre of Florence so that you could visit 1 or 2 of the sights and return to the hotel to take a rest or whatever, ie pop back to the hotel whenever you felt like it. The room was very clean, nice crisp white sheets, good shower, clean towels daily. There was always someone in the small reception area should you have any questions.

Location quiet yet near historic sites. Our room was large and comfortable. King bed comfy too.

Small breakfast room is the only common area, and it has no view.

The hotel is situated in the centre of Florence, max 5 minutes walk to main city attractions and railway station. The room was large as well as the bathroom.

Great location for exploring the main sites of interest in Florence. Very helpful staff. Hotel has many nice internal features. Great value for money. Don't be mistaken for its 2 star rating, we would rate it higher than this. Will book this hotel again on our next visit to Florence. WiFi access point in our bedroom.
