Hotel Collodi  

Staffs are all very nice, funny and helpful. They provided everything that I need, it really thoughtful and sweet. The room is big enough for two, and the ac, WiFi, tv are all work perfectly well!! We stayed in this hotel over one week, and the housekeeping change towels and cleaning the room everyday. The location of hotel is also the best, 7 mins work to train station, 5 mins work to the city center. Moreover, there have two wonderful restaurants just right next to hotel, you can try the best Florence's dishes in there. This is the best hotel ever, it's a big plus during my trip in Florence. When I have chance to visit Florence again, I will definitely going to chose Hotel Collodi.

Almost flawless. Only one thing, I don't like the breakfast coffee, it's just too sour for me.

We visited this nice hotel during our vocations in Italy and stayed extremely glad with our choice. The hotel Collodi is situated in the old center of Florence not far from the railway station, which was very comfortable for us as we travelled by train. When we came the rooms were already waiting for us which was very pleasant. The rooms were double flour, nice furnished in an old style, very clean and tidy. The administrator was very nice and friendly; he gave us the map of the town and explained where to go to the sites. We liked the breakfasts and free high-speed internet in rooms. We want to say big "thank you" for great stay and assistance to the staff of Hotel Collodi!

Very nice room, really beyond imagination. Location is very good, close to main sightseeing spots and dinning, shopping area.

Despite the fact that we were a little late for the check-in, the reception at our arrival was fantastic.The ambient of the hotel is really nice; nicely decorated, especially the stairway and the rooms.The rooms are very clean and fresh. The situation of the hotel is wonderful; in the middle of the center and most important... Quiet. Although it is situated very near the market, we did not hear any noice. I could suggest this hotel to anyone that does not want to spend too much money and have a wonderful stay at the same time.

Nothing new for Italy; breakfast. The breakfast could be improved a lot. Coffee, tea or other beverages had to be taken out from machines, even the juices. The breads could be more fresh. We had a room on the 2nd (upper floor), which I believe are the nicest rooms just below the roof top. Although the stairs are easy to walk, you have to walk 3 stairs to arrive to the upper floor. For us not a problem but for someone who has difficulties walking stairs, it might be.

Great value for the money. Rooms had nice details (frescoes on ceiling, an antique armoire, etc.). Staff was super friendly and efficient.

The breakfast was very basic, coffee not so good, specially compared to just about every cafe in Italy. Still, for the price, a small complaint.

Good location near Train station and the sight-seeing point. Special design of room which is valley-mood. Service of staff is very nice and provide the map and information of tourist. Many choice of Breakfast type.

The location is not in main street. It is difficult to find in first time. I live in third floor which is not life service.

Location quiet yet near historic sites. Our room was large and comfortable. King bed comfy too.

Small breakfast room is the only common area, and it has no view.

The hotel is situated in the centre of Florence, max 5 minutes walk to main city attractions and railway station. The room was large as well as the bathroom.

Great location for exploring the main sites of interest in Florence. Very helpful staff. Hotel has many nice internal features. Great value for money. Don't be mistaken for its 2 star rating, we would rate it higher than this. Will book this hotel again on our next visit to Florence. WiFi access point in our bedroom.

Very nice room. Exactly what u'll be looking for in Florence- classical style It's situated in the city center. Just 5 min walk to Duomo

Breakfast was coffee, which almost not possible to drink and different types of sweet stuff, like crousan. Plastic dishes and cups. Also in the room, bathroom was cleaned not careful. This could destroy all the impression from the hotel in general

Very friendly staff and a great location. Also whilst we booked a double room we were actually given a family room (2 x bedrooms) so we had lots of space!

Breakfast is nothing to write home about!
