Hotel Collodi  

Very enjoyable stay, excellent location for everything. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good bathroom & plenty of hot water, comfy beds and decent sized fridge for supplies!

Not really a dislike but breakfast a bit lacking!

When we arrived, we were upgraded to a room for four. It was two rooms and a large bathroom. The rooms were spotless, the location was excellent. Breakfast was typical European, cereal, sweet croissants, bread, yogurt and a cappuccino machine. We walked to the Duomo in 5 minutes, uffizi museum in ten. Every thing was easily walkable. Nadine at the fron desk was awesome, she had great recommendations for restaurants that were all less than 2 minutes from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for location,price and a great staff. It was a lot of value for the money. (Tip) go online and reserve tickets for the uffizi and accademia museums so you won't have to wait in line. Don't miss Santa Croce, and the view from piazza de michelangelo.

Hotel Collodi was very nice. The staff was extremely helpful, and made us feel as if we spend twice as much. Its location is very convenient to Mercado Centrali, and some nice restaurants. An evening meek outside in the square with the traveling musicians was a highlight.

They only use the elevator for your luggage so you have some climbing to do.

Breakfast was definitely underdone, it would not take much to add a few more items and get it a bit more "friendly."

The hotel was close to the Duomo, but far enough away to be quiet. The twin room had a large, nice bathroom with the second bed upstairsl. This was good for our purposes and unique in my travels in Europe. The room had a flat screen TV with CNN and BBC, along with many other channels.

Everything at Hotel Collodi was exceptional. The room we stayed in was incredible and the people was also superb! We plan on returning to Firenze often and hope to stay here every time. The wireless internet was also impeccable, the connection was perfect as there was a router in our room. Also, our room was directly across from the breakfast room and about five feet from the reception area and we both were able to sleep in past 10 o'clock; noise was not a problem at all! I can't say enough good things about this hotel, if you're planning on visiting Firenze you should definitely consider, and choose this hotel, our stay was absolutely perfect!

Good location near Train station and the sight-seeing point. Special design of room which is valley-mood. Service of staff is very nice and provide the map and information of tourist. Many choice of Breakfast type.

The location is not in main street. It is difficult to find in first time. I live in third floor which is not life service.
