Located 800 metres from Castel Nuovo Maschio Angioino Castle, the Culture Centro Storico is an intimate hotel with its own art gallery.
Score from 562 reviews Very good
Very, very cheap breakfast. More basic and you starve. Very bad coffee Unfriendly staff at breakfast Don't use a hotel car to pick you up at the airport oder bring you there. A taxi ist cheaper (20 Euro vs. 30 Euro) and more clean. Very noisy street
Location near the old center airy room
Being picky, the bed was a little hard compared with what we are used to, but we did sleep well!
The staff were excellent and a credit to the management. The location is great although down a seedy-looking street, but, a mature couple, we did not feel unsafe at all. Advertised as an art hotel, it lives up to its name. On the edge of the historic district, it is in walkable distance from many historical attractions and also some very good restaurants and trattoria.
The location is excelent for a day trip to Naples. We wish to highlighted the excellent reception and service of Susi who was always supportive, friendly and efficient. We will gihly recommend this place and fir future trips to Naples. The hotel design is a plus.
The coffee with the breakfast could have been better, but really that was the only thing I could criticise!
Susi was especially helpful at the desk, and we loved the overall comfort of the hotel. Excellent value for money! Conveniently placed for trips to Pompeii and the Naples Museum too.
stairs in the room to bathroom, easy to hear noise from the hall and other rooms
location, breakfast, staff, wifi (even it was not always working)
Bathroom on second floor
Location close to metro
Not the most attractive entrance.Sometimes it was hard to get in the front gate as cars parked right up to it. Breakfast was ok- food often ran out and took ages to replenish. The breakfast room was rather small, sometimes it was not easy to find a seat- so we had to wait.
The hotel was central. near Dante metro. Handy for everywhere. It was definitely quirky and colourful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Recommended local restaurants.(upstairs at Pizza Bra which we enjoyed) Room was spacious and clean.
A little bit difficult to find, in a small road.
Very big and clean room, friendly staff. Nice breakfast
Skylight window in the rain
I think the decoration is not so cool as it try to be, but at least they try!
Cleanliness and breakfast.
Room ridiculously hot in the middle of January. Only one tiny window opened. No way to cool it ac disabled no heat controls). Could not rest at all. Bed was hard. Should tile floors instead of weird plasticky paint on floors in rooms.
Good location. Cool interior. Good breakfast.
Take this hotel, if you want to visit the old town. However, to me the best part of town is the sea coast.
Woman at the front desk was not very helpful. She did not know how a guest could call the front desk (it was dialing #9), she did not give me the safe key upon giving me my room key, my room was right by the breakfast bar so at 7am I could hear cafe's being made, there was a very disgusting stain on my duvet cover, the floor was lanoleum in the room and the room size was very small.
Location was close to beginning of old historic district
Nervous at first as in dirty alley
Ideal to visit the old town Staff Cleanliness Quiet and set back from the alley
Nothing!!! This is a super hotel!!!
The location is superb and the staff is extremely friendly, professional and helpful.
Location Clean and colourful Good value for money
The friendliest staff! . So helpful. Good wifi in the rooms. Avoid the coffee machine in the dining area - rather ask them to make you a cup of traditional espresso with breakfast. The hotel is a 1 minute walk to Piazza Dante, 5 minutes to the archeological museum. Plus they arranged a kayak trip for me on the Bay of Naples - a sublime experience.
There were no closets in the hotel Breakfast was a bit poor (But I guess thats normal in Italy)
There was wifi connection everywhere in the hotel Rooms and bathrooms were clean Rooms are not small Very good location, so close to the old town and shopping street Via Toledo Helpful staff
no wi-fi in our room, though at the reception area a public computer is available to the customers which is very helpful
proximity to the metro, spacious room, good breakfast, excellent staff
- As there were 3 of us, we were in a bigger room BUT it was a disabled room, so had that look and slight smell - Breakfast was quite basic, ESPECIALLY coffee (basic coffee machine)
- Nice design of art hotel - Excellent location, just on edge of historic centre - Friendly young staff - Free wifi with good speed
General area a bit run down, but the Hotel itself was very clean and Bright.
Excellent Staff. Very Helpful
Location. Staff. Comfort of bed. Great value for mini bar/drinks.
We liked the location - really close to Piazza Dante as well as the cleanliness and friendlinesss of the staff
Correra 241 has a cool, clean, modernist vibe. Very helpful staff when making enquiries and in a great location - just a stone's throw from the old part of town and circa 15 min wall to new part.
