Great restaurant with superb terasse
The room decoration is classical but could be nicer
When I made my reservation in May, I mentioned that my birthday was on October 5. On that day, when we arrived back to our room, there was a chilled bottle of Prosecco and a beautiful torte awaiting us. I will be a recurring guest for life!
Bathtub could use a more extensive grip surface. A few more US-oriented cable channels would be helpful.
Great location; our room was good, with enough space, a balcony, and relatively new furniture
Expensive but not so impressive breakfast, although the restaurant offers a great view
The uncreative concierge, food recommendations are biased. They can get rude if were stressed. The terrace is a great place to sit but service is poor.
We have booked hotel two month ago. Luckily, I had conformation, because hotel had no our reservation number. We had to wait more than 40 minutes at reception desk than we got our rooms without any explanation of staff and some compenzation.
+ The history of the Hotel + The overall hotel looking + The room + The restaurant
- many people in front - many people comes to take photo inside. - They were late in airport pick up and lost one of our cosmetics bag during the transfer. At the check out the issue were very difficult to be fixed. Next time we will stay at Aman or Gritti Palace.
Excellent location and very friendly staff... Beautifully appointed hotel with a quaint and comfortable ambience..felt very special to stay at the Hotel Danieli.
Would have preferred free wifi in our rome and to have breakfast included considering the cost of the accomodation.
loved the building, decour and service
the restaurant food and price was a let down. we felt it was better to just go for early evening drinks.
Employees were short to us not friendly after the huge amount of money we pai
staff not so friendly

Tourists coming in for Photo opportunities
The Hotel Lobby
The bathroom smells very bad. The shower is very poor! Very bad water preasure! Breakfast is extremely overpriced.
Great location. Breakfast was very good. Service was very good. Close to Piazza S. Marco and surroundings. Helpful staff. Beautiful hotel.
WiFi was only available in lobby or you had to pay. It was spotty and extremely slow. Most other hotels offer free wifi in rooms. I would think for the price of the room, free wifi would have been included in the guest room.
The food in the Terrazza restaurant was a litle bit diaspointed.
We loved the Danielli! The staff were very accommodating and upgraded us when they couldn't find the booking to begin with! They were very apologetic. Our view was spectacular over the water! Heaven!
The location, architecture and history of the hotel were fantastic.
The hotel restaurant was extremely overpriced for the quality of food and it was impossible to get concierge from the room phone.
The best bed I've ever have. Friendly staff. Nice restorante for breakfast on the roof with a beautiful view.
All was perfect
Could not eat in the Hotel as the restaurant was always fully booked. We should have been told to make dinner bookings when we booked the Hotel. Not Happy.
Wait for luggage to room- one hour and half!! Same wait for water taxi!!
- it is of course the best possible location of Venice - the history and architecture are amazing
- when you pay a certain price for a night, you don't expect to pay 15€/day for wifi, which is a basic service just like drinkable water in a bathroom - the reception's staff was nice and friendly, but the service wasn't really personnalized in the way you could expect from a real 5 stars palace. - the cleaning of our room was OK, although it mainly consisted in making the bed. For instance, our clothes of the day before were still lying on the ground. The windows drapes were still closed, etc.
Elegant, well located, historical, beautiful - spectacular.... I was worried our rooms would be disappointing because we were not in the main building but we were very pleased, Our three rooms were beautiful and had peak views of the canal and the roofs of Venice. Marco was very helpful to our family. Thank you. Seriously, this is one of the world's best - treat yourself.
