Hotel Daniel is conveniently located only a mile from some of the most beautiful beaches in the area, within easy reach of Olbia airport and the port. Beaches in the area include Porto Istana, Capo Ceraso, Li Cuncheddi and Marina Maria – the latter being recommended for windsurfing and sailing. Hotel Daniel offers a free shuttle service to its private beach area in Porto Istana, where beach umbrellas and beach chairs are available for an additional fee. Set right in front of Porto Istana is Tavolara Island, once one of the smallest independent kingdoms in the world. The hotel offers comfortable rooms with all modern conveniences. Nur ein paar km abseits der Costa Smeralda, preisgünstig, Ruhelage, mit einem Mietauto alles Strände und das Hinterland leicht zu erreichen Mäßiges Frühstück, in weiten Teilen Sardiniens ist es nicht üblich zum Frühstück Käse und Schinken/Wurst anzubieten sondern nur Weißbrot mit Butter

Siamo rimasti colpiti dalla gentilezza e professionalità dell'accoglienza. Da segnalare l'ottima colazione, varia e fresca comprendente non solo croissant, yogurt, frutta fresca etc.. ma anche deliziosa torta e biscotti alla mandorle. Posizione a breve distanza dalla spiaggia e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

La struttura è nuova e ben tenuta, lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e ben rifinite. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per passare qualche giorno al mare. Si consiglia una moto o una macchina per gli spostamenti....

Stort rom Transport til stranden står det. Det er kun hvis man drar til hotel daniel sin "private" strand areal, som er et inngjerdet omr. Med et mylder av folk rundt på begge sider av gjerdet. Gjerdet som er et tau, he he. Synes det er dårlig, iom at hotellet ligger I Murto Maria, som er middle of nowhere. Langt til sjøen, og den landsbyen er helt muerto.

La tranquilidad, que es un hotel muy acogedor con unas vistas muy bonitas a la montaña y que está cerca de una playa espectacular. Por la mañana te ponen unos croisanes, recien hechos por ellos mismos, para desayunar que están buenísimos. Que no hablasen en español aunque se esforzaban bastante por intentar hablarlo.

Goede, rustige ligging t.o.v vliegveld en haven (porto olbia). Ongeveer 20 min. Mooie, kleine, eenvoudige kamer. Eerste etage met klein balkonnetje. Grote tuin met gelegenheid om te gaan zitten. Eenvoudig, maar goed ontbijt. Geen gelegenheid in het Hotel om te dineren. Ook hierdoor weinig ontmoeting met de gasten. Redelijk duur.... Dit komt waarschijnlijk door de locatie. Weinig faciliteiten, echt een doorgangs hotel voor 1 nacht.

Piccolo e accogliente hotel in posizione tranquilla. Staff molto cordiale e disponibile. Camera spazioza. Accurata la pulizia della camera e dell'albergo in generale. Apprezzata la vicinanza della splendida spiaggia, raggiungibile anche a piedi con una passeggiata di 30/40 minuti (circa 2 Km).

We were in September 2011. There were not many guests in the hotel. Welcomed staff, nice patio, air-conditioning rooms, free Wi-Fi, close to airport and to the different beaches (if you rent a car). Continental breakfast is good enough. Value for money, useful for stay one night before return flight. Old furniture (room's photo seems taken years ago), small and old TVset.

Preis zur Hauptsaison / Cappucino am Morgen…. Es wird viel versprochen und wenig gehalten…. Der Strandtransfer klappt zumindest in den ersten Tagen, was den Hinweg betrifft, für den Rückweg wird man „freundlich“ auf den Bus (1,5€) hingewiesen ( oder man läuft 45 Min auf der Straße ohne Bürgersteig…. ) Das Ausleihen von Fahrrädern ist über den 4km entfernten Ort ( San Paolo ) für 15.-€/ Tag möglich. “ Man spricht Englisch“ ist recht rudimentär zu verstehen… besser ist man dran, wenn man selbst italienisch oder rumänisch spricht… Es kann passieren, dass das Wireless Lan „aufgrund des Windes“ ausfällt – in diesem Fall ist es jedoch möglich für 5.-€/ Std. den hauseigenen Rechner zu nutzen. Murta Maria hat ca. 5 Pizzerias – einen Supermarkt und einen Tabakladen mit angeschlossener „Bar“…. Ziemlicher Totentanz. Also wer keine Gastfreundlichkeit erwartet, gerne wandert und viel Ruhe braucht, ist dort bestens aufgehoben… ;) ( Taxi vom Flughafen kostet 25.-€ / Transfer über das Hotel 30.-€ )
