Score from 1090 reviews Very good
Super noisy, can't sleep in the night, but cost much. It's never worth the money. bad breakfast. Never again.
Good hotel good staff
Breakfast, location (15 minute walk from Duomo)
No WiFi in rooms
Very close to metro station.
No lift in the hotel.
small rooms dirty and smells awful all the hotel.if the receptionist drive you too the rooms in the basement ,just look for other hotel .downsters its a nightmare.
The wif fi and location was convenient
The shower was not sufficient and was too small, old fashoined We were made to give the keys in when we left Our double bed was two singles put together The breakfast was of average standard
The staff is friendly and funny.
kind of old fashion in the room...makes the room looks like dirty (looks like only)... barely can receive wifi in the room (i stay in level 1)...it is closed to subway, but you have to change to metro before you can reach some main attractions near to metro and centrale stations (depends where you want to go)...
It is a "fair" price hotel, so keep you expectations on a certain level. This hotel is very good for backpackers. Not that far from the Cathedral.
Good breakfast, nice receptionist at checkout, gave us proper directions to airport.
No free a/c, we had to pay 5 euros extra. Rooom a bit small and kind of run down.
Free wifi, pretty good location (metro station is right outside, but very few places are within walkable distance), basic breakfast included in the price, very good value for money overall. Most of the receptionist do speak english.
We had 3 rooms. Two of them were fine, but the one was at the basement and smelled pretty bad (though it did have a big garden right outside the window) - the smell wouldn't go even with windows wide open. Beds were kinda uncomfortable (I think they had foam mattresses - at least that's what they felt like), though we didn't mind since we didn't sleep that much anyway. Also, the worse was the receptionist during the night shift. He didn't understand english very well, he got pretty upset during our checkout because it was at 3am (our flight was at 7), and he even started swearing in Italian when we asked if he could call a taxi. VERY bad impression, though the other two receptionists we met were the exact opposite!
Excellent location and room price is not expensive.
I booked room for 4 people but I've got triple room with the same price. Be careful not to modify your reservation if you still want to stay in the same room.
If you compare this hotel with other two star hotels, this is the best. It was like a three star hotel. Good breakfast like regular Italian hotel, good people working there. Great location, Wifi - and A/C. Good and clean room and towels. There is even a hair dryer. I think it was the best deal.
I stayed on the third floor, and there is no elevator. A/C works well if you make the room dim which means that you have to shut the blinds not to allow sun enter the room, then A/C helps. Also twin bed instead of double.
Location, value for money, nice staff
nice staff, great location
Location - close to city center. Breakfast - you can eat as much you like. Value - fairly cheap considering the distance to center.
Bed mattress - they need to change it immediately!!! Lack of cleanliness - although maid is cleaning the room every day, she should pay more attention to dust under the bead, behind the shower-cabin and change bed linen at least two or three times not only once at the last day of stay.
I like nothing about this hotel.
Never book Dateo hotel! When I called the hotel to ask them to change my arival date because my flight to Milan was cancelled, they didn't want to talk to me because they "don't speak English". When I finally arrived the next day, they put me in a basement room which smelled awfully! I asked them to change the room and they put me in 1st floor room which was a bit better and cleaner. Small bathroom, small shower... And, of course, when I arrived, they spoke English. I booked two nights but sayed only one due to my flight cancellation, and they charged me two nights, even I had confirmation from airline company that my flight was cancelled and I coudn't arrive on time.
nice hotel for the price we paid .
It was pretty far from the station or city center, but it was clean and cosy. Staff was speaking english an reallt helpful. Great value for money.
The location, the staff very kind and helpfull, wi-fi working, air conditioning, breakfast was good.
The guys at the front desk were very polite, professional and caring
We requested a non smoking room and the room smelled to tobacco. The breakfast was lame,I wwould prefer to pay a couple euros more but have a nice breakfast
Value for money, 30 min walking to city center, nice staff and good breakfast
Good location for the price; Perfect english speaking receptionists :) Clean and quite spacious room facing the inside yard with some sun and lots of air;
no wi-fi, room number 212
The receptionist guy very friendly and helpful
No small refrigerator in the room

The first member of staff was V. Nice and helpful.
The second member of staff gave us incorrect information that wasted 3 hours of our weekend!
