This is such a great hotel with wonderful friendly staff. I always book here and it never disappoints.
Central location and Great Breakfasts
The hospitality, comfort and being so well treated by staff.
Hard to get a good wifi signal in some areas of the Hotel.
Wonderful building, helpful staff, luxurious room, great atmosphere, scrumptious breakfast.
Fabulous location, very near the Ponte Vecchio and short stroll from the Uffizi. They upgraded us, I am sure because it was Florence in February -- not exactly high season -- to an apartment suite. The decor was a little tired, but still, fabulous accommodations for the price.
The person who was usually on the desk came off as a bit condescending, which was annoying. Also, there was a nasty smell most of the time in the hall outside our suite -- but not in the suite. Old city, maybe marginal sewage system -- who knows? Still, a great place to stay and easily recommendable.
Delicious choice at breakfast and a very comfortable bedroom. Drinks and light refreshments available throughout the day. Plenty of hot water at all times.
Staff all so kind and obliging and the rooms are lovely. The public areas are numerous and splendid, especially the stunning breakfast location. The choice was amazing and the food at breakfast was fresh and tasty.
Would have liked a bit more choice in the bar meals but that's all.
Location. Elegance. Breakfasts.
Wonderful location, just steps from the Ponte Vecchio and the Affizi. Loads of great restaurants in the area and the hotel had a roof-top bar. The room was excellent and as this was a special anniversary trip, the staff was outstanding!
Small issue, the bed was extra firm---my wife loved it, me not so much. The WiFi codes seemed over-complicated and required sign-ins each time it was used. Perhaps they had had a bad experience in the past.
Wonderful, friendly staff who were always very helpful. Beautiful public rooms in the lobby and a magnificent breakfast room and rooftop bar. Room was spacious with a lovely bathroom and a firm bed. You can't beat the location between the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizzi Gallery right on the Arno. The breakfast was truly incredible! Great selection and very high quality.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast, walking distance to most attractions.
good location, good staff, good price, perfect breakfast / merkezi, ilgili personel, iyi fiyat, mukemmel kahvaltı
Room comfortable; location excellent; reception staff very helpful; breakfast excellent
lift very poor - have to wait ages for it to come at all times
3 of My friends got upgraded to aparment suite, although it was more spacious however the apartment was less charming (in terms of design) than my room, which was facing the old bridge and river
Location is perfect, any closer to the Uffizi and you would be sleeping in the galleries. Breakfast really nice, stafff friendly. Very quiet, very clean
Nothing really. A tea maker in the room would be nice, but few hotels on the continent seem to provide them, a shame! WiFi was a bit of a pain, need to keep logging in, but if that is the worst thing I can think of, it shows what a great place this is.
Proximity to all sites and adjacent to River Arno. Loved the view and facilities in the 5th floor bar. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast.
Surprised no coffee/tea making facility in room. Inconvenient that only one device can access the free wi-fi at a time.
Next to Uffizi and over the river.. My room looked at roofs, but rooms at the other side must have wonderful river views. I found a clean t- shirt on my bed to be used as a pijama. What a wonderful idea. If all hotels do this you do not have to carry pijamas in your bag. Staff at the bar was very kind. Reception staff was also friendly.
Layout of the hotel is like labirynth . I guess inevitable when you have to stay in this part of the city where all the buildings are old and not designed to the needs of today.
Staff, location, general feeling of age and history.
Breakfast was a big spread. Some things were good others not. Coffee was not very good. Not like good coffee at a cafe. Not really enough staff at breakfast to serve the group so there were waits for coffee. Not Abigail deal but it was frequent. Staff were nice at breakfast however as everywhere else.
The location and views , the staff always had a smile and took the time to answer any question
Had no complaints about anything
The location, comfort of the rooms, pleasant and helpful staff.
Wi fi was very patchy and unreliable.Room 409 had noise coming from an engine at 5:30 am.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast and breakfast Lounge, great location
I reserved and got my hotel Price confirmed in Euros. My credit card was charged ahead of my stay and automatically charged in US $ instead of € s as I would have requested. This made my room significantly more expensive than the agreed Price.
Staff - Wonderful Room - very Nice Dinning - Very Nice Location - Great
BED WAS LIKE STONE!! Off smell 2nd floor Hallway
It has the feel of a boutique hotel, located by The Arno, between the Ponte Vecchio and the Ufizzi Gallery, making it very close to all the main visitor attractions. The rooftop bar has an outdoor terrace with one of the best views of The Duomo and The Arno. The breakfast hall is beautiful. get there early though, to secure one of only two tables by the front window, overlooking the river. Complimentary drinks at the bar. We opted for afternoon tea on the terrace, which was very nice indeed. The wine list is excellent, focused on the best local wines.
It's hard to fault this hotel, but the only thing I can point to is its lack of restaurant, though this is not unusual in Florence, given the huge number of excellent and affordable restaurants in Florence.
Very helpful and friendly staff
