- Great location close to all major attractions - Friendly staff, all spoke English - Excellent breakfast featuring cereals, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, pastries, etc. Breakfast can be packed to go for early departures (for day trips, airport, etc) - Comfortable room - Very clean room and facilities
- Occasional sewer smell in the hallway (probably because it's an old building) - Room with a kitchen did not have any utensils
Great location and beautiful picturesque view from the terrace bar.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was right on the Grand Canal so there was no need to drag suitcases through the streets. Water bus just seconds away
We chose Hotel degli Orafi for our 5 night honeymoon. The hotel offered us a welcome champagne at the room and a free drink at the bar on the day of our arrival. The room was very spacious and very nicely decorated!!! Bathroom was very large and comfortable!!! Impeccable cleanliness!!! Location was perfect next to Ponte vecchio (only 30 meters away). Breakfast was superb. Staff was very friendly, helpful and polite and provided us with a weather forecast with sweets everyday. Room facilities were great. It's the perfect hotel to stay at and worth every euro. If we visit Florence again we will definitely choose this hotel. Just perfect. Nick & Fani - Greece
Hotel a bit smelly
Exelent location in the real city center. Everything is really closed. Super breakfest. Very nice room and bathroom.
No parking in the hotel possible.
location excellent, hotel overall good.
unfortunately our junior suite was extremely noisy Rm 108. you could hear everything from the office next door as if they were in the same room as you. Awful smell unfortunately on the first floor by the breakfast room as if the drains were up.
Great location. Friendly staff.
Location is very central to all the sights. Some good restaurants within a 5 - 10 minute walk. Lovely roof terrace looking at the river on one side and the Duomo on the other. Staff speak English and are so helpful. Very good breakfast with a wide choice and fresh rolls.
Hotel and staff most welcoming and gave us a truly memorable visit to Florence
Everything, but mostly the staff. They were incredibly helpful and pleasant to communicate with.
Wifi, would automatically connect, upon re-use, so I had to constantly re-enter my passwords.
I travel often, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was so helpful and friendly, the breakfast was excellent- high quality, delicious food in a stunningly beautiful dining room... Wifi worked great in the room and throughout the hotel, and the location is great. The rooftop terrance bar is one of my favorite places ever. I had one of the less expensive rooms "without a view", but in my opinion, even the terra cotta rooftops I saw outside my window were lovely; and the room was small, but still lovely and clean with "old world" charm. The marble bathroom was the best, with terry cloth robes and slippers. All at a very reasonable rate. I would definitely stay there again.
This hotel was high above expectations. The hotel is really nice and well kept up. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a great roof top bar and the location of hotel couldn't be beat. Best of all is the breakfast buffet, I have never seen a better one.
I loved everything about this hotel. We had an uninterrupted view of the Ponte Vecchio bridge from our 4th floor room. Amazing. The breakfast room is worth seeing alone! Would recommend to anyone.
The only negative thing I can say is that the bar was a bit expensive, but you are in an international tourist area so would expect to pay more.
Ideal Location Upgraded to two person apartment with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms
One morning had to wait for breakfast but it was not a problem
OK, I didn't have THE room with a view but I did get a room at the front overlooking the Arno. Beneath my window was the roof of the Vasari Corridor and to my right I could see (most of) the Ponte Vecchio. Brilliant! Opposite, at the top od the hill I could see the (outline at least!) Fort Belvedere. My (single) room was comfortable and had everything one would expect from a four star hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Bar and terrace good with views of the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio over the rooftops. Staff friendly and exceptionally helful.
I had some problems with WiFi but they sorted that out at reception. Subsequently the connection was variable/slow.
We enjoyed a view of the duomo while sipping wine on the outdoor patio. Our room was bright, clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Wonderful large bathroom.
Front desk staff not very friendly after initial check in.
Fantastic Location Friendly Staff Nice rooms Great free breakfast
Nice upgrade to an apt, wonderful and plentiful breakfast in a gorgeous dining room. Friendly and helpful staff
Bed was a bit hard for me, air conditioning was more efficient that I like.
The location, the view, the staff, the breakfast, the candies on your bed at turn down, not enough good can be said!
Nothing, it was truly a wonderful vacation.
Beautiful Hotel well fitted
A little far from Railway Station
The location on the Arno and next to the Museums and Ponte Vecchio is perfect. The rooftop bar with the great view of the City is an additional plus.
It is a great urban hotel in this city.
Excellent location, first class friendly staff, lovely room and excellent breakfast buffet. Also a lovely 5th floor terrace for cocktails and light food. We couldn't have asked for more.
Excellent position, close everything. Helpful, friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Generous breakfast.
Wasn't initially told the air con was controlled at reception, so every time we tried to turn it off in our room we couldn't - had to know the right questions to ask!
Great location and helpful staff. Vert clean hôtel very good house keeping.
Wifi vouchers were free but You needed a coucher for each device. Elevators were a bit slow.
