Hotel is very convenient to all the touristic attractions in Florence. Our room was beautifully furnished and had amazing river views. Hotel is in a very busy and noisy area. A bit over priced and not the best value for money in during our 2 weeks holiday in Italy.

We returned yesterday from Florence so this account is fresh in my mind. I stayed for one week - some of the time on business and some for pleasure. I spent many hours on different websites researching for a superb 4star hotel and the work paid off. This really was a magnificent find. All of the staff from reception to housekeeping to bar staff were extremely helpful. The breakfasts were excellent and laid up in a beautiful room. The view from the terrace bar was perfect - with the river on one side and roof tops and the duomo on the other. For exploring the city it is a perfect location. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough - don't hesitate to book there. The coffee could have been hotter (but I found that was a general problem in Italy). Otherwise this place was practically perfect!

The staff gave me a warm welcome. I had a great room, suite in reality, with seating area and kitchen, bedroom and ensuite, all looked very newly refurbished was very pleasant. The location is right on the river arno, by the Uffizi, in the centre of things. The roof top bar with welcome drink had fabulous views of the duomo and was very pleasant. Breakfast was also excellent with hot and cold options. Excellent recommendations for a restaurant all in all a great stay, and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly

Very clean, well maintained, friendly staff. Good breakfast and super room. One of the nicest hotels i have stayed in, with lots of nice touches such as complimentary nibbles when buying drinks on the roof terrace. perfect location for the sights. i really couldn't fault the hotel. Noisy due to building work opposite, not our hotels fault. i don't think the work will be lasting too long.

Excellent location on the banks of the river Arno nestled between the punto vecchio and the Uffuzi. The location would be difficult to beat. Ask for a river view on one of the higher floors. To say the bed was firm would be an understatement. It felt like I was sleeping on a brick.

We were upgraded on arrival which was very generous and welcome. The staff were all friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was excellent. The only complaint was that our mattress was too hard and gave me a sore hip and my partner a sore shoulder! The hotel has a great location and I would definitely recommend it to friends .Tnankyou. The mattress we had was too hard - is it possible to specify a softer bed?

It has a superb location overlooking the Arno and very close to the Ponte Vecchio. The staff were efficient and helpful. Only ate breakfast once in the hotel. it was good and the breakfast room is delightful. The 5th floor bar was a pleasant and relaxing place to have a drink. The cocktails were well made. The terrace has a terrific view but I wasn't out there for long because it was so cold!!! Florence was freakishly cold the few days we were there, as was the rest of Europe, and i would have loved to have the room a couple of degrees warmer at times but the heating stayed resolutely at 21'C. It's a minor quibble - we weren't freezing! And a speedier lift would be a welcome 'upgrade' for the place.

i liked the location of the hotel the staff were very helpful too the view of the river and bridges wasnt the same as on the website they must of been sat on the top of the hotel roof to take them, and the view from our room window was a shocker too as we were overlooking a back street and the opposite building was a building site with plenty of noise going on

Location, room, staff, breakfast all were excellent. The roof terrace where one could have a bite to eat provided a great escape from the crowds. It would have been a nice touch if one had not had to pay for wi-fi.

We thought that the Hotel and its staff were wonderful. The service was great and the location was extraordinary! The best kept secret is the rooftop bar/restaurant with the best views in Florence. We would definately stay there again. I was concerned about the charge for Wifi access but it really was easy and not that expensive.

We went to Firenze in our honeymoon, and we found the hotel adequate for the occasion. It's located just a few steps from Ponte Vechio, Galeria Uffizi, and some blocks to the Duomo, also, not far from Piazza Michelangelo, so we managed to do the city on foot, because driving in Firenze is crazy, even when you have a gps. We were very happy to receive a warm welcome as they left a Prosecco in our room, congratulating the wedding. Breakfast is great, they served smoked salmon, parma and other cheses. It's not the cheapest hotel, but the price is fair. The only things I'd complain is the internet access, which is charged and the expensive parking (about eu 35,00 per day).

“I love my stay at this hotel. The staff is really friendly and helpful (especially to advise on restaurants ;) . The value for money is really good, not too expensive but still chic and really good quality hotel. I was really impressed by how 'clean' it was also. The breakfast buffet is fab! and the bar is cool! The location is awesome as you are right in the centre! Fantastic! And also no city noise or anything! I strongly recommend it!” Samia, Leeds |
