The Hotel is extremelly well located and can be easily reached by car or taxi from the Train station of Florence. The Staff is extremelly friendly and professional. Also, the cleaness of the excellent and spacious rooms, the morning breakfest (the best I have ever seen in a four stars Hotel!), the view of the arno from the breakfast room, the view of the Duomo, palacio Vecchio and Giotto Campanary from the coffe room on the 5th floor are breathtaking. All this for a very, very reasonable value. It went far beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel as a stay for your familly, romance, business, shopping or city trip. It is a wonderfull hotel!!!

Hotel is very convenient to all the touristic attractions in Florence. Our room was beautifully furnished and had amazing river views. Hotel is in a very busy and noisy area. A bit over priced and not the best value for money in during our 2 weeks holiday in Italy.

Beautiful spacious room and incredibly abundant breakfast. We requested a view and had a little bit of it from our room but the bar on top floor afforded an extraordinary panorama. We found the lack of free wifi very surprising in such a classy place. We did not mind paying for the Internet time but it was complicated to use.

The location is superb - I cannot recommend it enough. It is literally metres from the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio. I thought, for the price I had paid, we had booked a twin room, but found that we had a suite, which was wonderful! We could cook dinner, and so saved a bit of money. I would definitely recommend a suite. The buffet breakfast was great, it is so nice to have a hot breakfast with proper coffee made by baristas. We stayed for four nights, and I will definitely stay again if, once again, I am not on my own. The only problem was the sewage pumping - it wafted into our room from the vents in the ceiling and was extremely pungent. However, I know this is (obviously) necessary and the problem was remedied by opening the windows.

You just can't be more central. The breakfast is a winner. Driving? Don't even think of finding this place in this semi-pedestrianized-one- way maze of central Florence. Relax and come by taxi.

I liked everything. The location was perfect everthing was just a short walk away. Our room was much larger than I expected it to be. The minibar came with a clear price list and the bottled water was both plentyfull and complemenyary and the other items were fairly valued some hotels make me fill ripped off but not this one. If im lucky enough to return to florence i will be staying at the hotel orafi The reception did not know about our reservation. So print off a copy before you leave home and take it with you. This hotel deos not take euro travelers cheques so be carefull.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Good advices on the area, things to visit and even restaurant booking. Also, the buffet breakfast was very complete, clean and good. One of the best I had so far. Parking. We can't park the car ourselves, and 39 euros for one night is a lot of money. But the staff was always ready to help wit that, even stopping traffic to allow us to leave securely.

Friendly and efficient reception staff. Attractive roof terrace bar with a great view. Good breakfast. Being really central, right between the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio, be prepared for the hotel to be slightly noisy throughout the night.

We returned yesterday from Florence so this account is fresh in my mind. I stayed for one week - some of the time on business and some for pleasure. I spent many hours on different websites researching for a superb 4star hotel and the work paid off. This really was a magnificent find. All of the staff from reception to housekeeping to bar staff were extremely helpful. The breakfasts were excellent and laid up in a beautiful room. The view from the terrace bar was perfect - with the river on one side and roof tops and the duomo on the other. For exploring the city it is a perfect location. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough - don't hesitate to book there. The coffee could have been hotter (but I found that was a general problem in Italy). Otherwise this place was practically perfect!

Excellent breakfast in a beautiful historical room. Can't beat the location. The room is small but understandable as its a conversion from a convent.

i liked the location of the hotel the staff were very helpful too the view of the river and bridges wasnt the same as on the website they must of been sat on the top of the hotel roof to take them, and the view from our room window was a shocker too as we were overlooking a back street and the opposite building was a building site with plenty of noise going on

Location, room, staff, breakfast all were excellent. The roof terrace where one could have a bite to eat provided a great escape from the crowds. It would have been a nice touch if one had not had to pay for wi-fi.

We thought that the Hotel and its staff were wonderful. The service was great and the location was extraordinary! The best kept secret is the rooftop bar/restaurant with the best views in Florence. We would definately stay there again. I was concerned about the charge for Wifi access but it really was easy and not that expensive.

We went to Firenze in our honeymoon, and we found the hotel adequate for the occasion. It's located just a few steps from Ponte Vechio, Galeria Uffizi, and some blocks to the Duomo, also, not far from Piazza Michelangelo, so we managed to do the city on foot, because driving in Firenze is crazy, even when you have a gps. We were very happy to receive a warm welcome as they left a Prosecco in our room, congratulating the wedding. Breakfast is great, they served smoked salmon, parma and other cheses. It's not the cheapest hotel, but the price is fair. The only things I'd complain is the internet access, which is charged and the expensive parking (about eu 35,00 per day).
