The breakfast was very good. The location was good in a nice quiet area. The shuttle service to Venice was excellent. The hotel did not have free internet access in the room. The hotel could need some reshape. |

It was now the 5th or 6th time that we staid in HdB,and we find staying there,a perfect combination with visiting the Bienale and art-events. Too much noise (children shouting) at the pool |

Staying at the Bains (pronounced 'Ben' in Venice) was quite a treat. It's one of the few hotels in the world where you feel that the wrinkles have *not* been surgically removed: The creaky parquet, the dust of the old rugs, the grandness of the high ceilings and mossy stone balustrades overlooking the garden and pool. Unfortunately, the pool was half-full, but it didn't prohibit us from swimming there, and certainly better than half-empty. |

The breakfast was very good and the staff serving were excellent. The desk staff were helpful and tried hard. Getting to the airport early in the morning was very expensive by water taxi or if you went by public transport took well over an hour and it was by water fairy and bus. They did have a shuttle service to San Marco but unless you really want to be out of the main stream I wished we had stayed the entire time in San Marco instead of just the 2 days. |

Pleasantly suprised at the relaxed atmosphere of the Lido. The hotel is well placed to take full advantage of this, and is close enough to the water taxi to go to Venice if you want to. restaurant was expensive. |

Feeling of old world service and hospitality,plenty of room.Excellent concierge service and charming bar service. Televisions really are small and old fashioned.No internet in the room is not acceptable and foyer internet did not work one day.Hotel rooms should have balconies. |

The beautiful terrace for the breakfast, the large swimming pool, beautiful sea view, sala Thomas Mann for indoor breakfast, the largeness of the space, hallways, furniture,wonderful terrace to the garden for parties, the garden,fruit basket in the room construction site on the beach in the morning which is a temporary problem, maybe the street between the hotel and beach |

sehr schöne Lage, angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre unfreundliche Mitarbeiter, Service im Restaurant (Frühstück) mittelmässig bis schlecht (Tische werden nicht abgeräumt, Bestellungen dauern zu lang) . Mitarbeiter dort arrogant und herablassend. |

L'atmosfera un po' decadente, ma di grande fascino, la mia camera d'angolo vista mare-piscina, anche se I bagni sarebbero da ristrutturare, come sara' presto fatto, mi hanno detto. Ottimi I servizi di collegamento con la citta'. Anche se ce fossero, tutto e' ripagato da quanto detto sopra. |

Ausserordentlich aufmerksamer service, wunderschönes ambiente, frühstück well above european standard, ideale kombination von swimming pool und strand/meer, aircondition oder eine andere lösung für die bar, die im sommer einfach "unbewohnbar:-)" ist, schade, wir hätten da durchaus so manchen € ausgegeben |

Wir hatten sehr schöne 2 Wochen in diesem Hotel und würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren. Das Hotel ist renovierungsbedürftig, was wohl im Jahr 2010 erfolgen soll. Bei der Aufmerksamkeit des Personals gibt es Optimierungsbedarf. Perfketion darf der Gast nicht erwarten |

ein kleiner Auszug unserer Beschwerde: The pool was empty when we arrived and we could not use it for the first 2 days. And after that it was cold as ice and by far not enjoy able! Not to mention that it could be nice to have cold towels around and someone serving fresh melon, etc... Something I expect at a rate like this! Interieur, zu kleiner Fernseher, uralte Badezimmer und generell Zimmereinrichtung, undichte Fenster... |

Einzigartige, dekadente Atmosphäre, prachtvolle Räumlichkeiten, gediegenes Publikum, wunderbarer Swimmingpool, ein sehr individuelles Hotel, das voll auf Nostalgie setzt. Nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage, die trotz Zusage nie repariert wurde. Strandservice ist umständlich, teuer, die Liegestühle unbequem. |
