The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are super and extremely comfortable. Super in-house bar, (open to 12.00), nice comfortable breakfast area with super outside gardens, cant wait to return, 5 starz all the way !!!!

Could have done with tea & coffee making facility, but this does not detract from a truly great experience by any means

    Location, Reception Staff

Single room is too small (really too small!); Breakfast staff not so nice as reception staff; Poor breakfast selection - variety should be improved

A lovely hotel in a lovely town. Pompei is a real Italian town and not full of tourists as Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast Will return some day.

Glass bottles being binned by restaurant down the street in the early hours - not the hotels fault!

Staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Hotel is clean and well decorated. Breakfast is served in the basement, and is fairly typical of this region. Great if you have a sweet tooth. Our bedroom was number 5, and has a little patio to sit out on for early evening glass of wine. Can't fault this hotel. Well situated for Pompeii relics.

Not a criticism of this hotel but Pompeii is all about the historical site. we travelled here from Sorrento and stayed for 3 nights, however with hindsight I would have preferred to have stayed in Sorrento and travelled to Pompeii.

Able to accommodate our large family. Free, secure parking on site. Complementary wi-fi. Outdoor area for our children to play after a long car ride. Excellent breakfast spread, our children especially enjoyed the pastries. Close to the ruins.

The rooms didn't connect, but that isn't something we commonly find in Europe.

Great working air conditioner, comfortable beds and loved bathroom/shower. The young lady at night was super helpful and suggested restaurants to have dinner at and they were good.

The area was sketchy -one wrong turn had me down some bad alleys (not a negative to hotel just a fact)

Lovely garden, very knowledgeable and helpful staff, easy 15-20 minute walk to the Pompeii ruins.

Rooms were bland and a bit dark. Our "quad" had a collapsible bunk bed which did not seem sturdy enough for my 10 year old to sleep on the top so we had to pull the mattress to the floor.

If you're thinking of giving Pompeii a visit, you should definitely stay for a night in this nice town that had much more to offer than we though! Hotel Diana had a perfect location in a street with many restaurants, close to bars and clubs. Also close to train station that takes you to Neaples and Salerno. Staff was very friendly and super helpful, rooms nice and clean and with a nice garden were you can sit in the afternoon. Even the breakfast was over expectations -- great value for money!!

Poor wifi, could be because we had a corner room.

I only I like in Diana Hotel was the Italian morning coffee. The breakfast was poor, the fruit was rotten.

I didn’t like the receptionist proposal of the train (which wasn’t working) from Napoli, as the Hotel is aware of tourist bus, is quicker, cheaper and the stop is 10m away from the Hotel. The Hotel is not close to the ruins (50min.walk) as they advertise themselves. Also hasn’t had any barmaids, but you have to curry your drink yourself to the small garden area. The 50Euro room per night was made for a little child. The bed is only 52cm wide, so you can’t turn at night, as you might find yourself in morning on the floor. The only window in the room you can’t open, this will invited the visitors from the terrace. The room and bathroom was so small, this wasn’t worth the money charged.

Nice inneryard, 10 min walk to archaeological park. Free parking

Room (nr 1) had hostel standard, far too expensive at 125 euro, poor value for money. Breakfast dull with mostly sweet options. Choose this hotel based on ratings and was very underwhelmed.

We were unprepared for the traffic in this area and wasted hours looking for the hotel. We should have been alerted to the difficulty of autostrada to city/no directions once in city/no adequate maps anywhere. Lost a lot of good time. Room cramped.
