Hotel Diplomatic  

The location of the hotel is the graet advantage.

I would say it's maximun a 3-star hotel even if it's in Italy. Things like breakfast, bathroom, beds and linen were far from 4-star class. However the room rate was reasonable and ok value for the money.

Two members of staff 1.Barman/ waiter who was welcoming and efficient. 2.The pleasant porter who came to open the shutters in an attemot to get rid of the smell in the room , only partialy sucessfull, and to change the used pillow cases.

The general air of neglect ,stained and very worn carpets in corridors. The appaling smell of smoke overlaid by air freshener in our room dispite asking for non-smoking room. No apology made for this error. Poor furnishing of room more like a youth hostel than a 4star Hotel. Pillow cases which had obviously not been changed. No apology given for this oversight. Shower difficult to use. Brown water from bath taps. Blocked drain in bath. Bath plug found to be full of hair. Breakfast delivered at 7.23 too late for us to eat despite asking for it at 7.00.as we had to leave at 7.30. No reduction made for breakfast not eaten. The very poor meal in the restaurent which was not worth the price charged. In my opinion this is very far from a 4 star hotel. The fact that staying in this hotel was a very unpleasant experience.

Very close to Porta Susa station and within walking distance of centre of city.

Reception staff generally unwelcoming.

We got a very good deal and found the hotel to be nice and clean, staff were professional, breakfast and free wireless were good. It's close to Porta Susa and a quick Metro ride from Porta Nuova.

Breakfast is wonderful when compared with other italian hotels. It is so close to metro and train station. Room is clean and restfull.

Generally was OK.

I hate the panel floor in the hotel rooms (artificial wood likely panels).

A decent 3-stars hotel but 4 stars are too many for its services

Just before Christmas, we had a spacious, comfortable room at a very reasonable rate. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Excellent breakfast.

free internet, but only in the lobby! the bed was quite hard and bumpy, I didnt sleep well.

The staff were very friendly. The location of the hotel is central and easily accessible, from both the airport (via bus) and the Porta Susa train station nearby. At the station there is also a taxi queue si that you don't need to wait. Free wireless internet access worked from both the room and the lobby. The room was comfortable.

Let's put it in this way, I'm coming next week also in Torino but I've selected other hotel.... in short , even though it was okey I will never return back....

Good value for money but the rooms will soon need renovation

The room was very nice, especially the bathroom. Free wi-fi was really important to me (also as a criterium to choose the hotel). Breakfast was all right.

My room was a bit chilly and I could not get the temperature up as much as I wanted to.
