Hotel Doge is een ideale uitgangsbasis om het echte Venetië te ontdekken. Het ligt in een karakteristieke buurt, dicht bij het Papadopolipark en de busterminal aan de Piazzale Roma. Dit kleine, intieme hotel is gevestigd in een elegant 17e-eeuws pand en heeft slechts 10 kamers. De vriendelijke medewerkers staan 24 uur per dag en 7 dagen per week voor u klaar en kunnen u veel nuttige toeristische informatie geven. Neem een plattegrond van de stad mee bij de receptie en vraag om een gratis toegangskaartje voor het casino van Venetië. De kamerprijs is inclusief een typisch Italiaans ontbijt, dat op uw kamer geserveerd kan worden. De ligging was goed en de grootte van de kamer was prima. Hoewel goed gelegen en eigenlijk een mooi gebouw met veel potentieel, was de kamer afgeleefd en dringend aan vernieuwing van de afwerking toe. Ook het algemeen beeld van de kamer was somber. Het sanitair heeft zijn maximale levensduur bereikt.

Nice choice for a few reasons. Very close to train station (five mins if you know the streets) but over the bridge so away from the station noise and tourists. Also, it is in a nice local street just a few shops down from well renowned ice cream store (Alaska) and less than 10 mins away from a great restaurant (La Zucca Osteria). Everything is away from San Marco (15-20 mins walk over canals) so you get more of a local feel. Room itself was small but bed was comfortable. Most rooms have their own showers and only two don't so I never had to wait to use the common shower. Owners very friendly. You can leave your bags after checkout no problem. Breakfast (which I usually avoid in Italy) is brought to your room. It was normal standard for Italy.

Close to railway station, and the public boat station. Walking distance to centre. Poor breakfast.

Friendly staff - with poor communication in english (some of them didn't understand a word) they did their best, always clean towels, beds and no problems with hot water or air-condition Shocking price for hotel of this standard - if I went to venice for longer I would never pay that much for this hotel. But you pay premium prices for everything in Venice

the owner is kind and helpful. the room is spacious and clean with very good excess to all tourist spots. only handicap is the staff couldn't speak simple english. a must stay hotel for any other tourist visiting venice.

Its a good cheap option. The place was pretty much empty and I only saw 2 other guests the whole two days I was there. Its very very quiet and the staff is nice. Its easy to find and very close to the train station. The single rooms are small but its not a problem if all you want is a bed. The best part by far is that they deliver breakfast (croissant, bread, various spreads and good coffee) to your room every morning included in the price. Recommend as a cheap option. Very close to train station but a far walk to san marco square

Location - the hotel was close to the railway station and the vaporetta. Walking distance to St Mark's Square and most other popular sites The Doge is not a hotel - it is a pension. There is no lobby or dining room so breakfast is served in your room. We booked a triple room and the third bed was a camp stretcher and conditions were very cramped. The beds were unbearably uncomfortable,leading to sleepless nights. The room and bathroom were not very clean and there were not enough towels. This hotel is not good value for money. I have stayed on the Lido on two previous trips and have been satisfied with the standard of accommodation and would not recommend staying on Venice in this price bracket

It is close to Plza Roma (10 min). I made the reservation 10 days before, they charged my card imediatlly ( I could not councel it ) and still the very first night I arrived , they announced me ( didn't enen ask me to agree!!) that next morning I had to change the room I was staying ( pack - unpack) because they were overbooked!!! To my point of view that was totally unprofessional and rude.

Gostei do quarto Sim. Alguns funcionários não são preparados para lidar com o público. Uma recepcionista quis discutir comigo que a razão do cartão não ter passado (o banco bloqueou a transação) era culpa minha e não do banco. Que eu forneci um cartão ruim. Ridiculo!! Mesmo eu tendo pago em dinheiro. Não recomendo esse hotel nem aos meus inimigos Não pra ser destratada desta forma

уютный отель недалеко от вокзала и рядом с гранд каналом. очень легко найти самим. много ресторанчиков рядом и мастерская масок, с ценами дешевле, чем в сувенирных лавках. очень дружелюбный персонал, но плохо говорит по-английски. нам достался огромнейший номер люкс на четвертом этаже, где помимо большой двуспальной кровати были еще три. отлично подойдет для большой компании друзей, или семьи с детьми. каждый день был итальянский завтрак в номере. убирали номер каждый день. нет интернета. очень крутые лестницы в отеле. с них легко можно упасть, было немного тяжело подниматься с чемоданами, так как в старинном здании лифта нет.

Espectacular! El mejor lugar para hospedarse en Venecia. Personal muy amable y atento siempre dispuesto a ayudarte en lo que necesites. La habitación con baño privado muy limpia y amplia, el desayuno servido en la habitación muy rico y abundante. Muy cerca de la estación de trenes y autobuses. La zona donde se ubica el hotel es muy tranquila y se puede ir caminando hasta la Plaza San Marcos sin problemas, también se puede tomar un Vaporetto (transporte público). Recomiendo comprar un pase según las horas que se vaya a usar el transporte público y las noches que se hospeden. En resumen recomiendo al hotel y nuestra parada obligatoria en nuestra próxima visita a Venecia, Bellisima!!!

замечательное место. находится очень близко от вокзала, легко найти, т.к. есть указатели. уютные, чистые комнаты. завтрак приносят прямо в номер. на завтрак можно выбрать напиток, например, каппучино, горячий шоколад и т.д., приносят свежие круассаны, булочки, тосты. персонал на удивление вежливый и улыбчивый. рядом много пиццерий и ресторанов.

A pesar de la pequeña decepción al ver la habitación en un primer momento, la habitación resultó confortable. La cama era cómoda (dormimos como troncos) y la ducha muy agradable. El trato del personal de recepción (padre, madre e hija) fue muy bueno. La habitación y el cuarto de baño son muy pequeños. Está bien que te sirvan el desayuno en la habitación (no hay opción) pero no que entren cuando les da la gana a recoger la bandeja (incluso habiendo cerrado con llave), un poco más y nos pillan "en plena faena". Y eso ocurrió dos días, hasta que decidimos dejar nosotros la bandeja en el pasillo al acabar, y aún así entraron para hacer la habitación pensando que nos habíamos ido (¿sin dejar el pedazo de llave?). No te cambian las toallas aunque las uses y las dejes en el suelo, tuvimos que pedirlo expresamente y les costó un poco... Definitivamente, por el precio que tienen Vencia tiene mejores opciones.

La relación calidad precio es bastante buena. La ubicación es perfecta, al lado esta una estación de vaporeto que te lleva por dos líneas principales, perfecto para moverse por la ciudad. La habitación es pequeña pero esta muy bien, no es incomoda para nada. La atención del personal es buena, son muy amables.
