The staff was very friendly in a pleasant manner. The hotel has a great, central location within walking distance to the major sights. The staff arranged hire car service to and from the airport.

Location was good, close to everything to either walk or take public transport. Close to restaurants. Rooms small but clean. Staff friendly and willing to help with directions, suggestions for attractions. Breakfast good selection, typical of breakfasts in Italy. Bed was hard for my liking.

Location. The Colosseum was about a 15 min walk. The Metro was a 10 min walk away. Overpriced!!! Wish I could've stayed somewhere much nicer for the money I paid. The breakfast was a joke and the coffee tasted like water. Nice view in the morning from the window but street noise throughout the night. Also, I could hear the staff talking at 3am! I couldn't sleep both nights I stayed there. Didn't help that the bed was hard either. Staying at this hotel ruined my trip. I hated going back to the hotel at night. Such a shame.

The Dorcia biggest asset is their staff. Night manager Florien, Mario and Manuela in the breakfast room and Marco. All the above mentioned served their guests with professionalism and a smile. Location to the Termini was a big plus in that it only took us approx 5 minutes to walk there. The attractions are all within walking distance whether it be shopping or sightseeing. There is a stop for an on/off bus tour quite close to the Hotel for those who want to familiarise with the city. We found the Dorcia peaceful with the sound of water gushing from the fountain across in the Piazza a pleasant night cap at the end of the day. I would certainly return to the Dorcia for a future visit. Very little, maybe a greater selection of fruit at breakfast.

The location was excellent, close to everything and it felt very safe. The family room was a good size, with a decent bay window that gave you extra space to put your luggage. I loved the really big window that gave you a perfect view over the piazza across the road, great for watching the comings and goings of Rome, and it gave the room a light and airy feel. A roller shutter kept the street lights out at night. The staff were very accommodating, the room was kept spotlessly clean while we were there and the breakfast cappuccinos were the best we found on our European vacation! The rooms were very simple, almost spartan, which suited us but for those after a few extras, such as tea & coffee facilities in the room, might be disappointed.

I liked how the concierge were very eager and comprehensive - the moment we checked in the General Manager of the hotel, Emmanuela, whipped out a great map of the city centre of Rome and gave us very precise directions and circled out all the "must see" attractions in Rome. She also gave really great recommendations on where we can fill our hungry stomachs. On hindsight - we don't even have to prepare for the trip (i.e. plan where to go, what to eat) at all! The hotel is also very central - within walking distance to all the attractions in the Rome city centre, very convenient too if you would like to take the Metro. The breakfast is very adequate, fruits, bread, croissant and freshly brewed coffee everyday. The cappucino is the best! Marco was there at the reception on the last night we were there and he was very friendly and helpful when we asked where were the shopping districts as well as some of the other attractions we wanted to see. Can get noisy at night as the hotel is just by the roadside, walls seem thin and the roads of Rome are loud and noisy.

Good location close to Termini Railway Station, and within walking distance of most of the major attractions. Breakfast, we only ate muesli and a croissant. If eggs and toast had been available it would have been a big improvement.

The location was excellent for visiting most of the sites on foot. Also it was only a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station to visit the further away sites. The Vatican and St Peters was only 4 stops away at a cost of only 3 euros each return. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I asked for a quiet room which we were given at the back of the hotel. This was really quiet which we appreciated. The hotel arranged a taxi transfer for us from the airport for which we were very grateful. No hassle.

The location is great! The stuff is great! Marco is a nice person and gives good tips about city. We stay 2 days in this hotel and we saw almost every great places in Rome by walking. We used public metro for just one time and it was to see the Vaticano... I strongly recommend this hotel!
