Within walking distance of the Rome train station with luggage. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very well lit building. The staff is very helpful.
Since it is located on a main street the road noise during the night is loud. If you are a light sleeper this will bother you if you get a street side room. Do not go to the restaurant they suggest for dinner!!!
The hotel is nice and comfortable. Has everything you need.
One of the managing ladies bosses around people in breakfast room, not allowing people to sit where they want. I guess the rationell behind it is to accomodate everyone, but half an hour before the end of breakfast, with three more tables unoccupied and us having a 9 month baby is very strange and frustrating thing. Needless to say no one showed up at those "reserved" tables, and we had to argue about pushing assigned table off the wall to sit comfortably with the baby.
first room we got was not a real hotel room.. tiny, no outside windows, small shower, smelly: all in all bad. after having paid an extra fee we got a nice room, bigger with windows & a propper bathroom. however I would not go back to this place, as I am not willing to pay extra in order to get a decent room (as shown on the pictures on booking.com)
Good service to receptionist
The room had fleas, my wife and me were chopped; happily we put repellent our daughter.
Our favorite thing about this Hotel was the front desk clerk named "Florian" He was so helpful with everything and has a wonderful personality and made us laugh a lot. Made our stay an absolute delight. We also really loved the area this hotel is in. Our room was clean and large with a good size shower and bathroom. Would stay there again for sure.
Maybe a little noisy but only when you had the windows open because it was such a populated area.
The staff was excellent. They were very helpful in providing recommendations and tips and eagerly responded to special requests. Breakfast was moderate but sufficient.Coffee was great.Hotel reception is open for 24h. Room was very clean and tidy. Many TV channels and excellent WiFi reception in the room.Bed was comfortable. Location of the hotel was great - a walking distance to most of the attractions.Would recommend this hotel to any couple visiting Rome.
Noise in the rooms that are facing the street. Although we were suggested a more quite room we preferred the view.
The staff and owner are very nice and helpful. Very easy to find and a very short walk from the train station. A very nice area where the hotel is. Most of the area by the train station is ok. Everything is very close to this hotel. 2/3 min walk or less. Food stores, Coffee places, places to eat. Nice place to stay in Rome if using the trains a lot. The room is a standard size and the bathroom is good size. The breakfast is standard European. The Father - Daughter that own the place are super nice.
Rome road noise can get bad during the day. Can hear it just a little in the room.
Lovely & courteous staff. Florian (at the front desk) is wonderful and funny. Staff was extremely helpful in booking tours and giving directions. Great location and good breakfast. I will definitely stay here again.
Excellent location; quiet street yet close to Termini station; close to many attractions and easy to access transportation (trains, buses etc)
On occasion, the lift doesn't operate properly but this could be due to inconsiderate users who forget to shut the lift door tightly.
Good for travellers using public transport eg train/bus Handy position for walking to points of interest eg coliseum/forum etc Found a couple of good eating places near by Florian was very helpful and positive at the front desk
Street noise but you are in Rome! Breakfast just okay
The hotel staff where sensational, they couldn't help enough, very pleasant room, very clean and great location and in a great area for eating out, 100's of restaurants close by.
The rooms could use a small fridge, Wi-Fi was just acceptable.
the location of the hotel is excellent. the hotel is very close to the train station and to the city. the breakfast is good, coffee is amazing, internet is working in the room if u stay on the 1st floor, but will not work on the other floors. there is also a city tax, 4 euro per person per day. the staff of the hotel is very nice, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed staying there.
We had a great room with plenty of space and good bathroom facilities. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and obliging. They have a great breakfast spread. I will certainly stay there again.
Location ( close to everywhere) Great staff
Weak wifi, when you have signal it still does not work, breakfast is ok but could be better ( coffee is great) Limited power plugs in the room, better be prepared if you want to plug more then 1 thing in.
We only stayed one night but had we known we would've made our first booking in Rome at the Dorica. Excellent value for the price, extremely well situated on Piazza Viminale. We will recommend for sure and be back when in Rome. I give them A +.
Florian Desk staff was very helpful
The staff is awesome. Super helpful The rooms are clean, and nice location.
Location. Breakfast. Room overlooking square. Cleanliness
Other room was very dark. So we spent any time in hotel in the room overlooking square
Great localization, nice price, clean and comfortable, very friendly stuff
- The same breakfast every day, as on boy scout camp. Can't eat more for more than two straight days - WiFi signal is very poor
Excellent reception staff. Very helpful.
Very little choice of breakfast items.
The view is nice, quiet and the location is very interesting too (interesting monuments, train station and Metro close by). The bathroom is a bit minimalist but the bedroom is still comfy, air-conditionning worked well. The staff is really helpful, effective and pleasant
The wifi didnt work very well in our room sometimes. The breakfast was very poor and not very qualitative (even if the hot chocolate was delicious.) and the schedule very too short. Also there is a lack of facilities in the room (electrical sockets/ accessories in the bathroom missing...)
+ Friendly and helpful staff + Close to the Termini Railway Station + Walking distance to all of the most important touristic sites
- Room just a little bit too basic - A (mini-sized) fridge in the room would be most welcome
Staff was very friendly, helpful, and spoke English very well. The hotel, although slightly dated, was very clean and tidy. We did not have breakfast, although the breakfast room looked very nice. The bedroom was a bit small, but enough space for a couple with all of the usual amenities.
The double room had two single beds pushed together. You have to return your room key to the front desk every time you go out, although the front desk is open 24 hours, but overall this is typical of European hotels.
The hotel is located at walking distance (e.g. 10-15 minutes) from Colosseum, Roman Forum and Termini train station. Arround it, there are many restaurants where you can have a very good meal or dinner. The breakfast is delicious and it will help you to go on for hours (loved the croissants and capuccino). Don't expect luxury; the room is basic but it is very clean, it has all facilities you need, including AC and good wi-fi connection. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I fully recommend this hotel if you intend to visit Rome.
Very good location and excellent staff.
