Very clean rooms. Room service and towel change every day. Located in good area of Rome (quiet and non-criminal), with good view of Villa Borghese (we stayed at 5th floor). Willing staff, but we can't tell our opinion about their english, because we know italian. Free Wi-Fi. Good spot in the city, with foot it is close to Spanish Steps and Metro (5min), Fontana di Trevi (8-10min), Piazza del Popolo (10-13min) and ancient center of Rome (10-15min). Simple breakfast with quality and breakfast room with excellent view of St. Peter Basilica. Bad smell in the room sometimes. No heating in the bathroom. On tv, many italian, english and german channels but not greek. One man of the staff was a little rude, even if we spoke italian, but maybe rudeness is a characteristic of italians, generally. Not good sound-proofing between the rooms. Rooms would need a renovation. Ascenting road from Metro to the hotel. Pricey.

No waiter service in the lounge, when I asked if possible to have two coffees it was a big effort. The lights in the roon all operated on different swiches when you turned some switches off the tv went off. Not sure I would use the hotel again while on business, I was going to ask for some discount as I have never had this b4 in any hotel. I look forward to your reply

Great location next to via Veneto without the noise or traffic. Great rates, furnishings were a little dated and worn but it was clean and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The 116 bus across the street took us to all the main tourist attractions for 1 euro. Plent of good restaurants and cafes in walking distance. We will definitely stay here in the future if we return to Rome. The fifth floor rooms had balconies facing Villa Borghese park. Trees block the view but it was pleasant regardless.

Perfect location, right above the Borghese park, with nice view (we were located on 6th floor). Bus stop near the entrance but it is a walking distance to the Spanish stairs and other Rome attractions. Very nice staff, helpful and well English speaking.

The front desk agent who checked us in was great spoke English and was full of information, the hotel is eccentric however I am a director of sales in a hotel in manhattan and understand that hotels with such age require better maintenance. It had great location the view from our room is breathtaking overlooking the park and the Vatican The front desk agent at night spoke no English was not helpful and didn't even know the hotel has free wifi instead charged us 8 euro to use the business center, the room was old wall paper falling out and the maids didn't even clean the room well, the bathroom was left dirty every day ..disappointed. All in all I think u pay for the location and to be close by to piazza Di espagna and villa medici and the Spanish steps .. But the hotel is far from 4 stars hotel

Expect the fact that I will never visit Rome again (and that's because of rude and unknownledge people), the hotel was ok!It wasn't a 4 star hotel as I know them! Furthermore for it's price it was great (71.25 euro per night for a double room)! It has a great location near to Piazza de Spagna, and a very enough walking distance from there and to important destinations.Bus 116 was exactly outside of the hotel so that was great (1 euro per ticket for 75 mnts) and also bus shop1 was operating as well outside and was free! Break fast was ok. Our room space was ok, but our friends room was very small. Rooms are not 19sqm. Also not all the rooms had view (we were facing a very ungly building). Very noisy rooms, I could hear everybody and the staff did not know English!!!Only the people in the reception! The lady in the breakfast room was very rude and didn't even say goodmorning! Also the breakfast was the same but not for a 4 star hotel! Whne we left nobody told us have a good trip or smt!!!They wanted only the key on time!!!

Old facilities, poorly maintained. I would think for the money that it costs they could afford to buy some decent blankets, new mattresses, replace broken cover glass on announcement boards on the wall and hang lamps and mirrors straight.. The description on the site does not by far match the reality, don't let yourself fooled by the 4* rating. Would definitely not recommend it to anyone who wants to get the value for the money they pay.

The plentiful breakfast, and the view from the breakfast room. The receptionists are in general quite rude, unhelpful, or unreliable. We had all kinds of problems (air conditioning, minibar, bad drainage) that either took too long to be solved or were not solved at all. It looks like a hotel that lives on past glories and it is nowadays quite falling apart.

The breakfast was ok comparing to what you can get in Italy! The view from the restaurant was great! Location of the hotel is pretty good: 10 min from Piazza Spania, or 5 to 7 minutes to the nearest metro station! The room was very small, but clean!

Perfect location. In walking distance to almost all main attractions of the city. There is also a very convenient bus (116) that begins its route right outside and takes you there as well. Great view from the breakfast room and satisfactory breakfast. Wi-fi only on charge.

Great location with good facilities and friendly staff. Good lounge and bar area with fabulous views over the Villa Borghese gardens from the breakfast room on the 6th Floor. Rooms are OK but could do with some updating. Would suggest recommending a room at the front of the hotel for the view.
