Alexandra is a 3-star superior hotel on Rome's exclusive Via Veneto. Located just 165 ft from Barberini Metro Station, it offers a gazebo restaurant out on this famous street.
Score from 859 reviews Very good
Just 215 yards from both the Opera House and Repubblica Metro, the elegant Hotel Britannia is in a 19th-century building. It has an extensive breakfast and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 686 reviews Very good
Set in a beautiful 19th-century building, Eurostars International is across the road from Rome's Opera Theatre. Its elegant rooms feature free-Wi-Fi, air conditioning and satellite TV.
Score from 1732 reviews Very good
Rome Times Hotel is set on the elegant Via Nazionale, a 10-minute walk from Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Colosseum.
Score from 1259 reviews Excellent
Friendle staff. Great views from the restaurant. Convenient for sites and local restaurants. Quieter than other reviews suggest (we heard no street noise at night)
No negatives for the hotel, just don't visit Harry's Bar unless you're happy with a HUGE bill!!!
Location isperfect Evrey thing really goood
Walking distance to Villa Borghese and Piazza di Spagna. Amazing view from the terrace at breakfast. Excellent staff.
Wireless really badly slow. Moquette. Breakfast until 10 only. A bit expensive.
We liked the location that was the only good thing about the hotel. Its in a primary location, no need to take any transportation means. You can walk everywhere.
The hotel is very old and in need of renovation. The room smelled very unpleasantly and the bed was very uncomfortable. The baby cot we requested was very old and kind of dirty. I also did not like the elevators as our stroller would hardly fit inside.
I liked the place
Hotel had a fair amount of charm, breakfast room has a great view and the morning buffet was fairly good. Good recommendation for restaurant two blocks away that was reasonable and frequented by locals.
Room was very small but comfortable enough, big drawback was that the front of the hotel faces a busy road that was very loud. Would have been fine if room faced the back. Staff was friendly but not overly so.
great location and easy access to major sights; amazing view from the restaurant/breakfast area; nice interior decorations and style kind and professional staff.
not sure if this is the best value for money, did not meet the expectations for a 4 star hotel standards. wifi did not work almost at all ( could not even do a basic google search as it would not have enough reception for that). i had to do my check in and could not do it on the wifi - i had to pay extra to use the computer in the lobby. poor breakfast, with only the basics, but great view from the 6th floor. It would be a plus if you knew at least basic Italian :)
Excellent location,a hotel with a soul, you feel as you are at home.Especially the view from the upper floor where the breakfast was served was wonderfull.
Beautiful view across Rome from the breakfast room.
There is a fantastic view from the breakfast room, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Just a short walk to the Spanish Steps, some good restaurants and the Metro.
Window didn't quite shut out the noise from the street below.
I loved this Hotel, the staff were wonderful breakfast was great and the views across the city were beautiful. I recommend this Hotel for a stay in Rome T he moment I went into the bedroom I felt at home the room was spotless there ,was a kettle in the room , that I was very pleased to see as I drink a lot of tea and I certainly made a lot of use of it. The Hotel was in a very good area around the corner from the Via Veneto , I certainly will stay in Hotel Eliseo again . as I Visit Rome A Lot. Well done and thank you Hotel Eliseo staff for a wonderful stay.
I have nothing bad to say about this hotel
The breakfast, the view from the breakfast room, close to Spanish Steps and Galerie Borghese.
Rooms could do with refreshing. Old bedspread uninviting on first impression.
Lovely view from the breakfast room. Good location
Very noisy when you have a window open (stuffy when it is closed). Small room; only place of suitcase is on the bed.
Hotel and Room very beautiful, comfortable and clean. Good breakfast! GRACIA****
Taxi drivers not honest esp short distance; meter €6.70 starting rate.
The location is excellent we have stayed here many times and the breakfast room is good as is the breakfast
The first room we were given was not particularly clean and extremely small. We have always had a good room here. We were changed to a far better room on the second day but I have to say the hotel is now in need of some TLC .
Quiet street Good breakfast
Poor wifi Small rooms - need upgrade
Great location, walking distance to all the wonderful places to visit in Rome
Leak from air conditioning Our room overlooked back of hotel with scaffolding Bar closed on a Friday as it was a religious holiday
For a very reasonable price of AU$120 a night we were given a huge room on the top floor with private balcony overlooking the park and Saint Pauls Basilica. Breakfast was also on this floor with magic views.
We could hear the elevator going all night under our room.
- Location and view from the 6th floor during breakfast. - Very helpful and polite staff. - I almost got the same room as in the picture. - rich breakfast - free wifi - I wanted a place what is not so ordinary, but not too expensive at a nice location. For staying and sleeping with breakfast I think it was a good choice.
- Overall it was nice but definitely not a 4 star hotel, so If you have big expectations choose another one. - weak wifi signal (For me worked the best on sitting the toilet.) - dirty room floor - worn furnitures, doors, shower tap... (on photos you can't see) - cheap breakfast ingredients, commodity
Price, location and free wi-fi.
The stay was too short. But I will return!
location was good
6th floor room was on 7th floor, breakfast was poorly refilled (high season)
