Hotel Europeo - Sea Hotels  

We found Hotel Europeo to be a very comfortable, quaint, clean and well located hotel for budget travellers. The rooms were quite small, but everything was immaculate, the beds comfortable and (for a European inner city hotel) the bathroom was spacious. The staff were friendly and patient with our lack of Italian, and there was someone at reception 24/7, so we were able to leave luggage there on our last day. The location is good as well; a 5-10 min walk to the nearest metro, and lots of little bars and pizzerias close by. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. It has everything you need. I would recommend this hotel.

The rooms are quite small- so if you are looking to relax in your hotel room all day long, you may want to consider staying somewhere else- but we didn't find this an issue at all because we were out sight-seeing all day. But people should be aware of that if they're looking to spend a lot of time there. Also- it is very hard to find. If you are considering staying here, use the following instructions on how to find the hotel: Take the metro to 'Dante station' and, upon existing, walk down the slope of Via Toledo (to the left) until you reach an intersection with Via Pasquale Scura. Via Toledo forks at one point, but you can take either street, it should still intersect with your next turn as it's not a long walk. Turn left onto Via Pasquale Scura (it changes names to Via Benedetto Croce, don't be confused!) and follow that until you reach Via Mezzocannone and turn right down that street. The Hotel is at number 109c, which is directly opposite the University entrance with some big columns. There is a small undercroft area with a cafe/bar, the hotel is through the gate at the right of the undercroft, you will need to push the intercom to be let in. We got quite lost on our way there- and that would be my only complaint, but if you follow these instructions, you should be fine! :) Look up these directions on a map before you get there so you know what I'm talking about!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They speak good English. The location was great very close to shops, main tourist locations, pizzas. They offer free Internt. Very fast check in in our room. Great hotel and stuff.

The beds could be better.

The staff were professional, pleasant and very helpful. The location is perfect for all the major sites. Very small but functional rooms.

A very nice small hotel near the historic center fo Napoli! Very interesting attractions are near. Tha staff was very gently and gave us a lot of useful informations. Wifi free is a big advantage. Also they gave us maps of the city free.The room was very clean as the bathroom. The price for a hotel like this is the best.I Recommend it to everyone that doesn't want to spend a lot of money.

The only thing that I didn't like was that the room was a little small for three persons (men).

The hotel staff were courteous.

The room was very congested. There was no space for the luggage. Also the location was very scary. The hotel was really nice, but I cant say the same about the sorrounding. It was real shady. :|

I have never ever expected such a lovely place for this small amount of money. The staff was super friendly, the rooms are perfectly clean, location is central, the greatest hostel experience in my life so far.

Central location in terms of many of the famous Naples sights and experiences. Plenty of restaurants and cafe's close by. Staff were outstanding when I had an accident and had to leave prematurely. They were helpful, assisted in bridging the language gap in terms of hospitals, pharmacies and other medical needs. Giovanni went above and beyond the call of duty to assist us.

Single rooms are small and with no view.

The location is great, near the Piazza San Demonico and a small supermarket where you can get breakfast. Also nice and quiet outside. Free wifi in the room. And airconditioning was really nice with the heat.

The hotel is actually a small corridor of rooms on the 4th floor of a building. The elevator was tiny. Only one person with suitcase fitted, so we had to make two trips up. The man at the reception smelled of sweat, the whole reception room smelled. The double room was really small. There was just enough room for the two suitcases on the floor. The door and walls are not isolated well, we woke up at every sound of people returning to their room in the evening and woke up by people leaving the hotel. When showering, the whole floor of the bathroom got soaked. The bed was not comfortable, it made a lot of noise when turning around.

Just slept there. And took their parking nearby. Hotel was nice inside. Not luxury but with love and care.

Naples left depressed impression of poverty and mud.

Hotel Europeo was an excellent choice. All the staff were very kind and polite, able to provide information on the places wothy to be seen and how to get there, as well as other necessary details to plan your trip. Rooms are not too large, however in very good condition, clean and well maintained. You have both ventilator and air conditioning and everything you need to feel confortable. It is located in the old center so you can walk to a lot of important buildings and museums downtown. You can also walk to the railway station and take a train to Pompeii, or Herculaneum; or walk to the harbour and take a ship up to the wanterful islands of Capri, Procida or Ischia.

As disapointed with Naples as we were it was such a relief to come back to Hotel Europeo at the end of each day. The staff were so freindly and helpful and the rooms were clean and cosy. The location was great as it is close to the train station and ferry port so it was easy to get to Capri, Amalif, Sorrento, Pompeii etc but we didn't feel safe in the city so didn't like venturing out at night. We would highly reccomend Hotel Europeo

Hotel europeo was the best budget hotel stayed there as travelling point to go to Sorrent and Salerno and Capri. Location was near the central naples station/Station Garibaldi. Most Buses from central station would drop you off near the hotel. Bus should be towards direction Umberto/university. It was so convenient by bus, alternatively metro dante is also near the hotel but lil tricky to reach. Hotel was not sea view opposed to what is written on website, there is no sea view from any room. The port molo bevereloo is in easy walking distance and a bus can take you there as well. They provided wifi and baby cot free of charge and staff very nice as well. Naples has been very notorious for mugging and high crime rate but our experience was gr8 I actually loved the old style streets. And yes shopping is gr8 and cheap even the food is cheap.It is lil dirty and filthy area but it has its own charm. Hotel was fully booked with student groups and is very popular. I didnt hv any complaint what so ever, rooms very lil small but nice and clean.All food shops are very near
