The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was good, close to the bus and train station in the old part of town.
Or room was for four people and was so cramped with two double beds and hardly enough room to pass from one bed to the bathroom. The bathroom was tiny and there was no coffee or tea making facilities and not even a glass for drinking water.
Everything was fine for this price - the excellent location, nice staff, clean room, good Wi-Fi.
The size of the room was, probably, too small, but it is not so important.
Wifi was fast.
This hotel was reflective of our short stay in Naples. The neighborhood is dirty and loud. The manager took and kept our passports at the front desk in the open until we left, which was very sketchy. The bunk bed was military style which hung from the wall, and I was nervous to have anyone sleep above me. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the room was extremely loud. If you are trying to save money and aren't spending much time in your hotel then this is the place for you. Bring slippers.
The decoration was really beautifull, it was confortable and a good value for money.
It is not easy to find and the lift is really small. It could not take more than one person and one bag.
Good location. 10 minutes walking to the centr. 20 minutes walking to the sea.
The hotel was "quirky". Old style without being old fashioned, an old hotel refurbished with imagination but not a lot of cash. The room was small but efficient, with a desk and bed lights, a working bathroom and an air conditioner. If you were tall an stood on the chair you could see the sea. We could hear the gulls. Good value for money if you must visit Naples. The hotel is close to the ferries for the islands and an OK (20 minutes of dodging dog poo on the side walks) walk to the train. The hotel is fine Naples however is another matter.
Naples is not a nice town, the hotel is in the university sector and very close to the old area. The old area is not as nice in Naples as "old areas" are in many other towns. The entrance to the hotel is via two locked doors which are unlocked when you message through an intercom. Naples is not a comfortable town, not a fault of the hotel. The room did not have effective wifi.
Location was great - in amongst the old town. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to in the city. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Nice towels and bedding. Laundry service for only 6euros washed and dried. Elevator to the 4th floor.
Nothing - really enjoyed our stay here.
An odd place, quite groovy actually, located on a floor of a modern apartment building. My room was lovely: clean, and quite spacious for a single, with a decent bathroom. Great location, perfect for the heart of the city. Would stay here again, certainly.
Patchy wi-fi that I gave up on and used a free wi fi cafe round the corner. No breakfast.
- the location is close to the central trainstation, the harbor (boats to Capri, Ischia, the Amalfitan Coast,...) and in the middle of the (dirty) historical centre. - some of the receptionists are very friendly and helpfull (others are just ok) - very clean - there's a Little elevator - they can arrange a taxi to the airport (16 euro)
- I had a room just next to the reception, which was very noisy, television untill midnight and people talking. If you book in advance, you'd better ask for a room at the end of the corridor, far away from the reception. - the wifi didn't work for 2 days
The location was convenient to the port, the historic center, and the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the paintings on the walls too.
Sadly you can hear almost everything through the walls and windows. Bring ear plugs to sleep.
Very good location
Do not expect any luxury or very comfortable facilities. Bathroom is quite small and old, but clean. No breakfast. But still, it is good value for money.
The best part about the hotel is the staff. The gentleman at the front counter was friendly and seemed genuinely invested in ensuring - not just a good hotel stay- but a stay in Naples as well. The lady who cleaned our room was also very sweet. The room itself has true charm and is fixed up just like a home with different pictures and things. There was also a nice balcony with French doors and a railing with flower boxes perched on the side. I also felt very safe here as the hotel is located in a building with a gated entry far from the street. I would recommend this hotel for the price.
The bathroom shower was uncomfortable because the plastic curtain brushes up against you as you shower. There is very little room to move around.
Location was good. They have conditioner and ceiling fan. I prefer fan.
There was almost no internet connection. It's not wifi connection problem as my room was right next to access point and with cable-connected notebook I had the same problems. Stuff was unable to help me. They didn't even try. Just suggest me to reconnect. One evening flushing button in the toilet broke making water to flow constantly. I asked on reception for help but they told me to wait for morning and ask manager then. Manager easily fixed the problem. Looks like he is familiar with it. But in the evening it broke again and I just left it as is.
The location was perfect, the staff was nice and the room clean The decoration of the different corridors and the rooms was really cool! We were in the Pompei theme, that was fun :)
Overall the bathroom was not really practical, no toilet paper holder, no shelf to put daycream make up and things like that No breakfast and no coffee machine or anything to boil water in the room
This hotel is located very well and the service very nice it is a very good price for the place and the quality of the hotel! I really recommend hotel europeo for napoli visitors
Really there is NO Wi-Fi while they said it is in the territory af all hotel. Actually you can try to catch it seating on the steps....
Clean room, very kind staff, near the city center!
no cold water
Staff very helpful with tourist information Rooms were clean
Rooms very small Bed was tiny and mattress hard like a rock The window didn't lock and safety box was very small.
Dont be put off by the area if you arrive at night. Looked a bit dodgy but discovered next day and evening it was great. Street music etc and lots of public seating and cheap eats in the square 100 mtrs away.
Near the harbour and downtown old Napoli
Staff very unfriendly, room tiny, elevator really small (hard to get up and down with you luggage and your group), no one to help wtih bags, located at the end of a weird alley (not a hotel you see from the street), you can´t park in front of the hotel for it´s a no-traffic zone (though it gives discount on a parking lot about 300m away - 20 euros a day), safe didn´t work, shower uneven causing sudden change of temperature, cleaning misses many points. All in alll, it´s a good option if your are desperate do save money.
A nice and clean room in a great location at a great price
Considering this is a 1 star hotel, everything was quite good. Air con was great, lots of natural light and a balcony. Easy to get around the centre of Napoli from the hotel.
You need to buzz twice, once through gate and once through door, to get into building. This is good for security, but a bit annoying for just running out and coming back. Towels were similar to table cloths.
Small but comfortable room
Wifi bad reception
Nice WiFi, cleanliness, service
