Convenient for old town very nice area price very good.
The location was perfect for getting around both the city alta and bassa. The staff were friendly and helpful. Free wifi and good choices for breakfast.
Bar prices were expensive and the bar was located in the lobby.
It was pretty warm in the room but unexpectedly warm for that time of year so a/c was already off
excellent location good breakfast
small rooms, but Ok for 2.
Great location were upgraded which was very nice Beautiful room overlooking the square with veranda.
Had to leave early to catch a flight Breakfast bag was pretty poor
Hotel location is very good. Food options good. Rooms very good
No tea or coffee facilities in room
The location was near all attractions , breakfast was amazing and the restaurant on the roof terrace you just have to try .
Staff at front desk attitude terrible I arrived for my mothers 70 th , rooms a disgrace , con
Location, just outside the Cita Alta..our room had amazing unobstructed views of the old town of Bergamo.. Super charming! Great breakfast as well.
This hotel was an excellent location for the Citta Alta and down town. Near is funicular and bus staition. Amazing breakfast with perfect view to old town, helpfull staff. Thank you for room with beatiful view.
We stayed in a room on the 7th floor facing the old town, a spectacular view. The old town was easy to reach. Valet parking in a garage below the hotel, for a charge.
The beds were hard and the night club on the roof terrace (just above) was noicy.
1. Staff welcome and behavior. 2. WIFI was poor
we got a luxury room with standard room price, that was very good surprise. very comfortable rooms, nice service; old town are very closed by furnicula
Very Smart hotel . ,in quiet position near "Old City". Hotel was kept immaculate .
we paid 130 euros for one night and had a normal bathroom. Friends paid 80 euros in this hotel and they had a bath with massage and oil.
Everything thank you!
Nothing not like other hotrls during my holiday that I have reviewed
Refurbished lobby and quality of room service food.
Rooms look a little tired and need modernising. Breakfast was poor, overdone scrambled eggs, very limited selection. Quality of fruit and juice was not fresh, something straight out of an old packet. This was not the case 5 years ago when I last stayed at the Hotel. I didnt like the fact that the restaurant opened until 21.00 and room service was not available beforehand. I've had fond memories at this hotel but with regret I will not be coming back. Going forward I will prefer to stay at the best western in the town centre or New the Relais San Lorenzo Spa in Citta Alta.
This hotel was an excellent location for the Cita Alta and down town . an oasis to return to after our trips around Bergamo . It made our trip very enjoyable. The staff were excellent and very friendly and welcoming and had very good English.
The Wifi was very poor. On the day that we left the Giro de Lombardia was passing the hotel. The hotel desk staff told us that there would be no change to the Aeroport bus route . however we ended up walking to station to get a bus to the aeroport. We just made our flight.
Close to Bergamo Alta and the station Breakfast - good selection Good size bedroom
Service at breakfast was poor Slow internet No view from the room
the hotel was in a great location with an amazing breakfast, comfortable bed, and a terrace with great views. Convenient to get to the airport, and all over the beautiful city.
tiny shower, and wifi was a bit of a pain.
Located very near the funicular to the upper town, this hotel is ideal to stay in Bergamo. Breakfast was good, and the dining superb which I would strongly recommend. Staff services are efficient as any good city hotel.
We stayed in a classical room which is a bit tight in space and aged in décor. We would selected a newer room should we visit Bergamo again.
Good location for visiting the old town. Nice and clean hotel. Good breakfast.
The Wi-Fi was ok, but not good. Had to log on, and log on....
location & breakfast Restaurant right down the street from the hotel - excellent!
rooms & staff was not very friendly - rather on the rude side since we apparently screwed up our booking - said no other rooms available, then miraculously, 2 rooms with 2 twin beds OR 2 rooms with kingsize beds became available - the staff could have been a whole lot nicer when they realized a mistake was made - even if it was our mistake
clear information about where to go and what to do. Helpful with a toll road payment failure printed out info for me not really their concern but did it anyway. Most helpful.
No bottles of water in a superior room - most people want a glass of water to have at bedtime they may need to take tablet or just get thirsty in the night - would be helpful.
We were upgraded on arrival and the room was on a corner so we had a lovely view of Bergamo old town from one window and across the plains towards the airport from the other. We thought it would be noisy - but with doors shut and aircon working, we had a comfy night's sleep - even during a thunder storm! Breakfast had a good selection.
WiFi in the room was non-existent - had to go out into the corridor to pick up the link - even then I couldn't make the initial log-on. I went to reception who were very helpful and got it working in the foyer, but it never did work in the room (6th floor).
