Looked tired, room small but adequate, stains on ceiling, cracks in shower tray

friendly staff excellent food comfortable rooms lots of facilities quiet reasonably priced

the staff were very friendly the rooms are very comfortable. we have stayed there before and we will do it again

- Close to the old town (historical) - Fantastic beds and large room - Bathtub with hydro massage

- Noisy outside (silly bar on the square) - The window did not close properly -> noise - Poor scrambled eggs

Good location: close to the funicular to visit the historical city, and close the commercial city centre. Many facilities, including car park (charged).

Hotel was clean and comfortable and in great location.

We only booked this hotel because it was described as having free wifi in all areas. Unfortunately, there was only one small area where you could use the hotels computer. This spoilt the holiday for us, as we always use our laptop in the room for researching resorts and transport. If you wanted to use your own laptop, you needed to have access to your mobile phone to receive a login password, and we couldn't get a signal ! This left us with having to ask staff and tourist information.

Unreliable parking fee. Roof garden restaurant extremely expensive comparing the room prices even it is awarded by Michelin star. Service and menu limited.

The location is excellent, it is close to Old Town and the buses to and from the airport stop right outside.

The hotel is generally very tired. This was my second stay and as we had a larger brighter room the first time we stayed we were very disappointed with the dark, worn and small room we received this time. After we made our views known we were move to a larger room, although it was still a little tired. If we would have received a small dark room on our first visit we would of not booked again. This could be the best hotel in Bergamo. The owners need to invest in the hotel and bring up to date.

We had a deluxe room with a view of the Citta Alta and it was excellent.

Maybe there could have been a wider choice of food for breakfast.

Friendly staff, situated in heart of Bergamo and near train station and funicular to ancient upper city.

Nothing to diskike but leisure facilities in such a warm climate would be nice.

The location of the hotel was good. The breakfast was OK. Most of the staff were friendly and helpfull especially the housekeeping staff. The bed was comfortable.

Booked a standard room which was poor, small, window shutters had to be put up and down manually, electric sockets on the walls loose, the room was badly in need of updating

Convenient location, close to historical center, shopping area and railway station. Very clean, friendly staff. There is also a nice restaurant on the roof, bit expensive, but it worth it.

Internet, sometimes, was too slow

A very good location neat the new city and Citta Alta. The hotel have a very good restaurant. You have to visit the picturesque Citta Alta and a fantastic view. Visit Restaurant Al Pianone, one of the best meal I have ever had.
