I booked the hotel on the day of arrival. A room for 3 pax/1 king+2 single beds. When we arrived, the old man at the reception was not friendly at all. He simply said we need to change room next day! We got a room with two beds(!). The bathroom was full of mold. The room was dusty.Wall full of scratches. The photos on the website do not reflect the reality.Attitude of the staff is unacceptable! When I complained and showed the receptionist all the problems I found, he just said that he is just an employee, the management is downstairs. They changed our room the next day which was better but again mold and dust in bathroom. The breakfast was included in the rate!It was a sweet pastry with 1 coffee across the street in a snack bar!We had to sit on the terrace just like in a quick food restaurant on the street!
location is find, some of their staffs tried their best to help guests.
As a hotel, they didn't take credit card, insisted cash only. It can be a problem to travelers, who don't like to bring too much cash with them.
The location was perfect. Only a 10 minute walk to Termini Train station. There are plenty of good restaurants to eat at, Formula 1 around the corner has great pizza! The double room with private bathroom was fairly good. Very clean, but window had an awful view and a bad smell came from that area. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
I strongly disliked that "breakfast" was given at a coffee shop down the street. And there were about 4 choices of extremely sugary pastries, with either coffee or tea. The hotel was way too expensive for what they offered (we paid about 400€ for 4 nights)! The night staff did not speak English or Spanish but they were still very nice and we eventually understood each other. The wifi signal is not the best, and even though we paid for a "soundproof" room you could hear absolutely everything going on in the hallways. I also thought it was weird there were only 2 showers for the entire floor (even though we did not used them since we had our own, I still thought that was extremely limiting for the other travelers). I also expected toiletries, and when I went to looked all they had was a small bar of soap and 2 packets of body wash (which did not smell very good). It wasn't a horrible place, but I expected way more for the price we paid.
Good breakfast, nice roof terrace
Room not clean (trash from the former guest in the bathroom), small rooms
breakfast staff good location excellent value for money
Location near to supermarket, fruits store ,trattorias ,bakery ( savings $$$). Hotel sell bus tickets. Bus 71 stop near to Termini central bus /rail station . We slept ok with a fan . Staff is helpful front desk assist me on my requests It is a budget . Only one floor to climb to the rooms. Good rate
Room needs a fresh paint. Poor WF signal (almost none signal second floor ) At least the fan should be on the ceiling since no air condition is not a option . No soap available in the room ( you have to request at front desk ) One cup of Coffee and one single pastry is you breakfast and is across the street
Proximity to the central rail station, other public transport options, as well as to the centre of Rome and its key sights. Hotel staff were mostly friendly and helpful and the local shops (supermarket, pharmacy, bank, laundramat) all within 50 - 100 metres of the hotel. While the hotel was a bit tired looking, our room was spotlessly clean.
Lack of a bar fridge and tea/coffee facilities was a real pest, particularly as we are a family of five staying for nearly a week. We did end up getting a kettle and some cups in the room, but we had to ask for them and there was no convenient place to put them.
Tiny room for 5 persons Noisy at night Breakfast only coffee and a piece of pastry
It is in good place
I do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel
Spacious room Wi-Fi Location Friendly, English speaking, staff Balcony
room was big and nice,en-suite, no air conditioning but we knew this before arrival, good fan in room. we did see the communal bathrooms and i would not stay here without an en-suite
On arrival at all of the other hotels we stay in Italy, we were given a map of the area and a quick explanation of how to best get around the area. There was barely a hello at this hotel when we arrived. We had prepaid on a travel website but when we arrived we were informed that we hadn't paid. On checking this with our bank no money had been taken from our account, so we didn't mind but it did cause us hassle having to check back in our bank account 4 months to see had we paid. The customer service is very bad, the reception has very poor communication & hospitality skills.
Nice and clean rooms, Triple and Quadruple rooms where not too cramped. Very good value for money Staff is a mixed experience, some very nice with good command of english, others can't speak a word.
At first day they refused to give us the rooms before 2:00 PM. My booking.com reservation said the chick-in is at 11:00 AM but when I pointed that out the receptionist gladly replied "Fine, go make a complain" and left me ! Staff is a mixed experience, some very nice with good command of english, others can't speak a word. Location is not the best option, only public buses (not subway) reach to where the hotel is located. it takes around an hour and couple of bus exchanges to reach down town.
The hotel is close to the station Termini and the bus stop. It is in a lively area, so you feel comfortable to come back late in the night. The room is clean.
The cleaning service is a little noisy in the morning (loudly speaking from the corridor). For last night we were transfer in a close B&B. We knew that only during the check-in. Fortunately the B&B is really nice (new and personal styling), the room and the breakfast service is perfect!
Staff was friendly... I think? They didn't speak English, so I'm not sure. The maid worked so hard, but...
They had only public bathrooms! I never stayed at a hotel where you have to wait in line to shower! Noisy all night. Problems go on and on.
Location was perfect and rooms were comfortable. Very friendly and kind neighberhood, lots of good places around to eat.
It was hard to comunicate bad english bad russiAn bad spanish and wifi signal was not perfect, bathrooms were always busy and when you close it locked itself and you had to use your room key to open
- very polite and helpful people (always smiling and willing to help) - good conditions - pretty good location (about 20 minutes way on foot to Colloseum) - Italian atmosphere!
Good Location Inexpensive Price
Most of stuff didn't speak english ! Shared Bathroom
Bathrooms at the hall are not so good thing if you are in 5people at the room...that is absolutely crazy-to have a 5people's room without bathroom and toilet at the room but everything else was ok.
Smelled bad, extremely hot. Only 2 bathrooms for the entire hotel. Not in a clean area, not in a good location.
+ Nice patio + Rooms cleaned every day +Good localisation + Pizzeria downstairs is MAGNIFICENT. The best pizza we ever ate + Nice breakfast in nice place - cafe in the garden in front of the hotel. Great people running the cafe - they were always listening to the radio in the morning, dancing and singing while making cappuccino for us ;) Very open, very friendly. Cool guys. Many people complained about stuff. We have just very good experience with them. Old gentleman who works at nights may look a bit grumpy, but he is just teasing with customers. If you are smart enough to get it, he became your best friend. Personally we loved him.
Nothing. Actually we got what we expected for two stars hotel, even a bit more. But if you prefer to spend your holidays in silent place - it is for sure not the place for you. It's noisy and full of life like all Rome.
Very friendly people. Lovely patio & excellent location. Nice place to stay while visiting Rome :)
The strategy for breakfast is excellent. The bathrooms are always clean.
They charged us the city tax in our check in and in our check out. We didn`t keep the recipe, so we could´t prove it was already payed. And they charged our entire stay in the time we were going home, they didm`t have credit card.
We had the quintuple room, it was quite spacious and clean. They have a terrace for guests to hang out and chill.
No notification that we had to pay by cash only, they didn't have card payment facility! Also our room was above a restaurant and opposite the hotel was a bar so it was very noisy at night.
The hotel was within reasonable walking distance of Termini Station even though it was a bit of an obstacle course getting there with heavy traffic, busy junctions, closed-off footpaths and lines of beggars and homeless people sleeping rough on the street.
This hotel was a grave disappointment. It bore no resemblance to the glowing description on the hotel's website. One of the male reception staff on the day of arrival was aggressive, rude and positively hostile. It was impossible to sleep with the noise from heavy traffic, loud music from across the road and the stifling heat with no air conditioning. Coincidentally, an electric fan was left in our room on the last night of our stay! We had to change rooms after the 1st night. There was no wardrobe in the 1st room. I spent the entire 9 nights trying to sleep on a camp bed, very uncomfortable. The bathroom/toilet/shower was way down the corridor. As one tried to wash or shower, there was constant knocking on the door from other "impatient" guests trying to get in. Believe it or not, there was a bidet on its own in our room. What function this was supposed to serve is beyond me. Breakfast was a joke. We had to go across the road to a make-shift cafe for the privilege. Breakfast (a real misnomer) consisted of a cup of coffee or tea and one croissant. We were told rather aggressively that it was one and one only. If ever the word "breakfast" was misused this was it. It wouldn't have fed one of the birds that frequented the place looking for scraps. The hotel should not be allowed to have the name of including breakfast in the price when this is a total misrepresentation. All-in-all, the place has practically nothing to recommend it and does nothing to promote the enjoyment and comfort of its guests. Booking.Com is also complicit in this by permitting misdescription and exaggerated claims by this hotel on their website.
Quiet, good breakfast good food areas nearby
The staff didn't speak much English as stated on Booking.com and couldn't book us transport as stated, also didn't accept credits cards as stated
