Score from 1022 reviews Very good
Stayed here for 3 nights. For the price I paid for it I wasnt expexting much but was pleasantly impressed with the cleanliness.Room got cleaned once where our towels were changed. Each of us got towels btw and the room had one set of toiletries, which we dint use and was prolly enough for only one bAth anyway. There is a sink ,mirror cabinet and a clean toilet bowl in the room facing the beds!! We were at first uncomfortable with that but its clean and we got used to it,its kind of convenient for brushing our teeth before bed when the shared bathrooms are full.Using the shared bathrooms was easy during weekdays as there werent many ppl using it,but over the weekend we did had to wait up to an hour.I'd suggest queueing.Rceptionist did not speak english, was an old man that reminded me of my granpa,He did his best to help us out.Reviews said place was dodgy but it wasnt that bad,i've been to dodgier places.Theres just some homeless people on the streets when ur on ur way to termini but we used a different route to avoid them when we went home late at night. Its like 10mins to termini I think, not as far as I thought till we got the hang of it.Walls are slightly thin tho as we could very faintly hear laughter from the next room if everyone in your room is completely silent but this did bother us.Also did not have trouble sleeping, outside noise was very faint and did not bother us at all.Overall,i for what I paid for.
Wifi sucks.only useable past midnight when everyone is asleep.
The location was normal, near to Termini, which means that ancient Rome is about half an hour to walk. The staff was nice and agreed to do everything as we wanted (paying, checking in and out). The room was nice and clean. Near the hotel there are very cheap restaurants with delicious local food. Just walk some minutes along the via Tiburtina.
One of the staff members was a bit scary. We didn't get at first any information about breakfast. The next morning we discovered that we have to go over the street in the park to get a breakfast (one bagel and coffee).
Some good restaurants near the hotel. Staff was nice and helped us with our questions about the city and with a taxi to the airport.
Hallways were very noisy. Could not sleep at night with all the noise from other guests. Also noise from the street would be very loud inside the room. Location is not very near the tourist attractions but there are buses that will take you very close to the hotel, so it os ok.
Clean, good position...
Very noizy room
The close proximity to public transport. The owners who we met the following afternoon were really lovely and they spoke English. This made a huge difference. The owners even printed our tickets for us for the Vatican which was fabulous. Great value for money!!!!
Breakfast was only croissant and coffee or tea We had booked online and when we arrived were told that there were no rooms. The person at the counter didn't speak English so that made it harder. Luckily he had the booking papers on the desk and I managed to see my name. once we were over the language barrier we were fine.
Room have small window which is blocked with other buldings
-near termini station -free breakfast -good price -clean room -free wi-fi
-clean towels every 2 days
I like the bed. It was comfortable
The room was way smaller then the pictures. The toilet was down the hall but clean. I would stay again.
The room was clean.
Only a coffe and only one croissant per person for breakfast.
Location. For this price hotel was enough good and clear.
Stuff can't speak English. Only one girl with blond hair. I don't like smell of towels. I think as well that breakfast should be little different than just something to drink and croissant.
I booked the hotel on the day of arrival. A room for 3 pax/1 king+2 single beds. When we arrived, the old man at the reception was not friendly at all. He simply said we need to change room next day! We got a room with two beds(!). The bathroom was full of mold. The room was dusty.Wall full of scratches. The photos on the website do not reflect the reality.Attitude of the staff is unacceptable! When I complained and showed the receptionist all the problems I found, he just said that he is just an employee, the management is downstairs. They changed our room the next day which was better but again mold and dust in bathroom. The breakfast was included in the rate!It was a sweet pastry with 1 coffee across the street in a snack bar!We had to sit on the terrace just like in a quick food restaurant on the street!
location is find, some of their staffs tried their best to help guests.
As a hotel, they didn't take credit card, insisted cash only. It can be a problem to travelers, who don't like to bring too much cash with them.
The location was perfect. Only a 10 minute walk to Termini Train station. There are plenty of good restaurants to eat at, Formula 1 around the corner has great pizza! The double room with private bathroom was fairly good. Very clean, but window had an awful view and a bad smell came from that area. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
I strongly disliked that "breakfast" was given at a coffee shop down the street. And there were about 4 choices of extremely sugary pastries, with either coffee or tea. The hotel was way too expensive for what they offered (we paid about 400€ for 4 nights)! The night staff did not speak English or Spanish but they were still very nice and we eventually understood each other. The wifi signal is not the best, and even though we paid for a "soundproof" room you could hear absolutely everything going on in the hallways. I also thought it was weird there were only 2 showers for the entire floor (even though we did not used them since we had our own, I still thought that was extremely limiting for the other travelers). I also expected toiletries, and when I went to looked all they had was a small bar of soap and 2 packets of body wash (which did not smell very good). It wasn't a horrible place, but I expected way more for the price we paid.
Good breakfast, nice roof terrace
Room not clean (trash from the former guest in the bathroom), small rooms
breakfast staff good location excellent value for money
Location near to supermarket, fruits store ,trattorias ,bakery ( savings $$$). Hotel sell bus tickets. Bus 71 stop near to Termini central bus /rail station . We slept ok with a fan . Staff is helpful front desk assist me on my requests It is a budget . Only one floor to climb to the rooms. Good rate
Room needs a fresh paint. Poor WF signal (almost none signal second floor ) At least the fan should be on the ceiling since no air condition is not a option . No soap available in the room ( you have to request at front desk ) One cup of Coffee and one single pastry is you breakfast and is across the street
Proximity to the central rail station, other public transport options, as well as to the centre of Rome and its key sights. Hotel staff were mostly friendly and helpful and the local shops (supermarket, pharmacy, bank, laundramat) all within 50 - 100 metres of the hotel. While the hotel was a bit tired looking, our room was spotlessly clean.
Lack of a bar fridge and tea/coffee facilities was a real pest, particularly as we are a family of five staying for nearly a week. We did end up getting a kettle and some cups in the room, but we had to ask for them and there was no convenient place to put them.
Tiny room for 5 persons Noisy at night Breakfast only coffee and a piece of pastry
It is in good place
I do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel
Spacious room Wi-Fi Location Friendly, English speaking, staff Balcony
room was big and nice,en-suite, no air conditioning but we knew this before arrival, good fan in room. we did see the communal bathrooms and i would not stay here without an en-suite
On arrival at all of the other hotels we stay in Italy, we were given a map of the area and a quick explanation of how to best get around the area. There was barely a hello at this hotel when we arrived. We had prepaid on a travel website but when we arrived we were informed that we hadn't paid. On checking this with our bank no money had been taken from our account, so we didn't mind but it did cause us hassle having to check back in our bank account 4 months to see had we paid. The customer service is very bad, the reception has very poor communication & hospitality skills.
Nice and clean rooms, Triple and Quadruple rooms where not too cramped. Very good value for money Staff is a mixed experience, some very nice with good command of english, others can't speak a word.
At first day they refused to give us the rooms before 2:00 PM. My booking.com reservation said the chick-in is at 11:00 AM but when I pointed that out the receptionist gladly replied "Fine, go make a complain" and left me ! Staff is a mixed experience, some very nice with good command of english, others can't speak a word. Location is not the best option, only public buses (not subway) reach to where the hotel is located. it takes around an hour and couple of bus exchanges to reach down town.
The hotel is close to the station Termini and the bus stop. It is in a lively area, so you feel comfortable to come back late in the night. The room is clean.
The cleaning service is a little noisy in the morning (loudly speaking from the corridor). For last night we were transfer in a close B&B. We knew that only during the check-in. Fortunately the B&B is really nice (new and personal styling), the room and the breakfast service is perfect!
Staff was friendly... I think? They didn't speak English, so I'm not sure. The maid worked so hard, but...
They had only public bathrooms! I never stayed at a hotel where you have to wait in line to shower! Noisy all night. Problems go on and on.
Location was perfect and rooms were comfortable. Very friendly and kind neighberhood, lots of good places around to eat.
It was hard to comunicate bad english bad russiAn bad spanish and wifi signal was not perfect, bathrooms were always busy and when you close it locked itself and you had to use your room key to open
