Featuring a pretty roof terrace, a large breakfast buffet and air-conditioned rooms, the Novecento is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum in a quiet residential area, 325 ft from Manzoni Metro...

EXE Domus Aurea is next to ancient Roman ruins and the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli. A generous American buffet is served daily on the roof terrace overlooking the Terme di Diocleziano.

One o the Counter staff was most helpful.
During the night bugs were all over my wife. Requested another room and same things happened. Was finally given another room. What a sleepless nigh.
Nearby to metro termini
The wifi so heavey and slowly so bad
the location is excellent
no hot water for 2 days, small room, really uncomfortable bed, poor English knowledge of staff
Breakfast selection was very good, staff were very friendly and courteous, we felt welcome even when we arrived early, the hotel minded our luggage so we could go exploring. hotel is only 5 minutes from termini!
location is accessible
nothing really but everything can be improved
The room was provided by Hotel Siviglia, located in the same street at 150 mt from Hotel Fiamma (only twins bed were available but the staff fixed the issue promptly). The room & the staff were OK. Nice balcony also available in our room :) Breakfast was in general OK
The cleaning service should pay attention on the details like cleaning the border of shower box and the mold between tiles due to the humidity present after doing a shower.
I was worried at first after reading mixed reviews of this hotel. However, after staying here for a night, I personally believe that this hotel is not that bad after all and here are the reasons: 1. They allowed us to deposit our heavy bag for free for three nights prior to our stay there. 2. There were variety of food for breakfast. 3. The bathroom was spacious and the towels were clean 4. Walking distance to Roma Termini...easy to get around Rome 5. There are many Muslim kebab shops near the area.
One of the staff wasnt very friendly when we were about to deposit our luggage into its store. When I wanted to check whether there would be any ticket/slip for storing the bag, he curtly replied, 'I understand you the first time, just leave it there' and he continued looking down at what he was doing. Fortunately, when we checked in, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and our bag was safely locked in the store.
Location and price
Bed was not comfortable. A new mattress needed. Also the room needed renovating.
Location was convenient. Few staff responded well.
Bed bug bites... My 2yr old son had too many bites :-(
Location close to Rome Termini and restaurants.
Plumbing and drainage in shower units needs work. Water built up in shower and overflowed onto floor.
Wi-fi and location were good
There was a awful smell in the room, the room is really old and dirty, the carpet and walls are to change!!! We didn't even try breakfast after seeing the room... and we cut our reservation immediately!
Good breakfasts. Helpful staff (Andrea)
Bugs in our bed-had to move to another floor; hard pillows; poor shower pressure; unhappy looking kitchen staff.
Spacious and clean room, Good wifi and Breakfast. Room was quite spacious..
Staff at the reception, very rude. Looks bit old hotel with a pungent smell in the room
Be careful badbug!!
Hotel's close proximity to central station and bus terminal. An easy walk with bags and easy to locate on google maps. Small convenience store below hotel.
Location Shopping Knocked some euros off my nights room cost because of the bedbugs!
Bedbugs! The mattress in our room was infested with them! Horrible! Shower drain blocked (fixed after complaint). TV didnt work (not fixed after complaint). All in all not a pleasant experience here.
Close to train station
Group of school kids in hotel at same time. Ran around all night in hallways yelling and very noisy. Staff ineffective at quieting them.
There were bed bugs in every room, the shower was temperamental and the air-conditioner leaked. Staff were unhelpful and I didn't not sleep at all! Stay away!
Location, very near to Termini Station Breakfast, rich Sound isolated from the street noise
Staff mot very welcoming except for 1. Clealiness, the hotel always smelled like alcohol
If you need a one night stay near Termini this place is easy to find, convenient and perfectly acceptable. I would not use it for a weeks stay. Breakfast good.
Older room with a brand new bathroom. Acceptable but... Elevator too small.
All rooms had air con and we're cleaned every day. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk to all the tourist locations, a bit longer for the Vatican. Reception staff very helpful. Breakfast that is included was nice enough for value.
Despite rooms being cleaned (bed sheets, bathroom ect.) the actual building wasn't in great shape. Ripped wallpaper, holes in walls, very dated feel. Had to move rooms halfway through trip due to broken aircon.
-The location is great, a short walk from Termini station and very close to shops and restaurants. -The cake at the free buffet breakfast was nice, as was having a mini fridge in the room. -The friendliness (specifically and only) of the cleaning and kitchen staff.
-The (extensive) mould inside the mini fridge; patches of mould on the wall in our room; and (on 2 occassions) even on the bread at the buffet breakfast. General health & safety standards were awful. I would advise the eldery and families with young children not to stay here.- I almost fell over on the stairs a few times, due to peeling laminate on the edges, and I'm a fit & healthy 27 year old. Bedroom windows (that appear to be re-used balcony doors) would be an extreme falling hazard for children. -The men that work behind the concierge desk were extremely offensive, hostile and incompetant, displaying social attitudes from the 1950s (e.g. open dissaproval of female guests paying bills, mimicking and mocking the accents of Asian travellers). For these reasons, as a matter of principle, I would also advise anyone with 21st century views/social attitudes (i.e. women's equality, racial equality, etc) to avoid staying here.
friendly, helpful and good staff good breakfast
shower - either hot or cold the headboard of the bed was broken and kept making noises the hotel corridor smelled of cigarettes!
the Hotel Fiamma is very city and the staff is helpful. Near the Termini it is perfect!
Decent location, close to the main train station, easy to find. Breakfast quite a wide variety, but ended early at 10am.
Slow wifi. The wait for the life could be very long. Inflexible check-in timing. Very little power point sockets in the room.
