For the price it wasn't bad, but since we entered the hotel, there was always something wrong.
The beautiful "glass elevator" wasn't working properly.
When we wanted to take a shower in the morning, there was no hot water. The same happened to our friend in the room next door. Fortunately we only stayed one night.
The outdoors were nice with some sofas to sit but very dirty.
The breakfast was 90% cakes and sweets.
The staff from the breakfast area had no manners, but we noticed this in almost all the hotels we've stayed in Italy...
When we went for the check out, we complained with the available staff member, at the front desk, about the elevators and the cold shower. She was instantly very rude and started giving excuses and alternatives, that we could accept, but not by the way she was talking to us. She started discussion with us, barely letting us speak and even saying "do you know who I am?". To which I answered "who are you?". She replied by saying that she was the hotel manager! After acknowledging her "high status", I told her that this was another reason for her to know how to speak with the guests of the hotel... The discussion continued and wasn't getting us to anyplace, she kept being rude and started to get more personal.
At that point I understood that It wasn't possible to have a constructive conversation with her, because she simply didn't want to listen, so I just said I didn't had time and had to leave.
She got really upset when we told her that we would make our review of our staying there. She understood it wasn't going to be a positive review... maybe if she goes back to school and learns how to treat guests, the reviews will be better, or simply stay in the back and let the other staff handle the guests.
Conclusion: it's a cheap place to stay but the breakfast and staff make you wish you have chosen another place to stay.
The price and the bed.
