Score from 294 reviews Very good
Excellent location with lots of café, bars& restaurants around. Within 10 minutes walk to almost all attractions and 5 minutes to railway and bus station.
Location, attention and room.
Lot of stairs rooms are in the 4 and 5 floor so if you are with huge bag its a little uncomfortable.
Location is very good close to Duomo and all the attrections. The room is nice, blanket and pillow is comfy, bathroom is very spacious.
No lift. Room #2 is on the 4th!!! Floor of the old building with steep and narrow stairs. If you have anything but smallest lugguage getting up (and down too) is a torture.
nice and warm. Good having a sink in the room.
(1) Staff is very kind. (2) Location is very good. It only takes 5 minutes to central station.
(1) Too noisy at night (2) You have to pay for the wifi!! (3) If you put your luggage at the reception on the day you check out and want to get it later, you will be charged. But it seems that there is no one looking after your luggage at the reception, because there is often no one at the reception.
I've stayed a Hotel Fiorentino twice now and since its only a couple blocks from the Santa Maria Novella train station and the Duomo, it's the perfect location for a visit to Florence. Sando is always a great host and is very accommodating. Would highly recommend this place.
I'd wouldn't say these are negatives, but there are shared bathrooms which we didn't really care about at all since it was two dudes. It worked out perfectly for us. There is a lot of street noise in this location, but if you keep the windows closed, they prevent most of the noise.
It was quite good if you compare with price. Lady who is responsable evening and night and her son Alen was very very attend, smiley, interested. I like her interest and help to us. Thanks once again.! Also, it is very close to city and train station. Clean.
Seperate toilet (honestly it was clean), no breakfast, taking money even for rest luggage (during visit city after checkout). It should not be the first option if you have other alternatives.
location...room included a kitchen area but too narrow to use safely.
Too many stairs, the room was very narrow and we had to walk like crabs to pass furniture. The shower was the bathroom which made it very wet to use the rest of the room including toilet. Toilet seat was cracked.
good location, quite clear
no lift, have to carry heavy luggage uptairs wifi is not free
It's cheapish. The location is central and easy to find from the train station. The staff were nice.
Although it's cheap, I wouldn't say it's good value. The single room is depressing, it's on one of the noisiest streets, and charging £5 a day for wifi is crazy.
The location is fantastic, near the trains station.
It has no lift to go with the baggage up 3 floors.
Friendly and helpful staff, walking distance to the main train station, wi-fi, clean, newly decorated pension-style rooms. Good value for budget traveler
Stair access to first level of rooms which is on the third floor. Location on Santa Maria Novella square and near train station generates street noise until 1am, but you do get a view of the tourists. Solution: ear plugs solve the problem for sleeping at night or reserve early by phone and ask for the most quiet room.
Location, cleanliness , a very discret staff and not very expensive.
No protection against mosquitoes and too many stairways to the last level!
Close to the train station (3min walking), from the bedroom balcony we could see the station; Close to the dome (6/8 min walking); Ponte vecchia within 12/15min walking distance; Supermarket 200m from the hotel;
The only thing that could be better was the internet access; basically, you could have it if you payed 1€/hour, or 5€/day, which in my opinion does not make sense nowadays. I had to get close to the window so that i could get free wifi from somewhere else.
The hotel is very close to the train and bus stations (less than 500m). There are many restaurants and important tourists nearby. Good choice for people who want to travel and save money
1.Location : super good. my room windows can see church. 2.Rooms: cute, sunny, they have some good idea about convenice, such as small wood behind washbasin. 3.shared toilet and shower is clean.
Location is very near the train station and tourist info office. Owner was accomodating.
No elevator and wifi is not free
This was a wonderful hostel in the centre of Florence with views of the Santa Maria Novella and with all the amenities I could have hoped for, at a great price. Highly recommended.
*Location. Very easy to find, and near the train and bus station. And there's a square nearby, u can walk and drink there at night. *The room is lovely and just near the church. *Although the owner charge everthing, i like him and his dog.
Clean and very close to everything (train station Firenze Maria Novella, Ponte vecchio, plaza la signoria and more)
For the price range, this was excellent. Our room had aircon, a view of the beautiful Santa Maria Novella church and is across the road from the train station and main bus stops. I think it felt more like a guest room / apartment than a hotel room as you're in a separate building next door to reception. It was clean, modern and double glazed therefore minimal noise from the street. Friendly owner who has a lovely old golden retriever.
The room could have done with a full length mirror and a fridge, and be prepared for a few steps, but I didn't mind that as you're in an old Florentine town house.
Friendly owner, very good location in the center and very close to train station, simple clean hotel
Close to centre
Very basic. No tea or coffee facilities in room. No breakfast. Wifi extra. No place to hang your clothes or put away your clothes. Noisy at night.
Manager was helpful, very clse to main train station and attractions. Nice bathroom good airy room.
No curtains but U dont need them much. Nerde better sound isolation Bathroom next to my room was noisy for me
good location and value of money
rude manager not very helpful
