Friendly staff (with a friendly dog!), great location very close to the central station.

Wifi not free, a lot of stairs to clamber up to most of the rooms.

Very good hotel. Recomended. A+++

Excellent location - we arrived from Rome via train so it was important that the hotel was near the station (a 3-minute walk). The neighborhood is in the heart of the city and has a lively feeling to it with a constant stream of people going by. We had a room with a shared bathroom which worked out well. The rooms are simple & clean - very good value for money. We also had an excellent view at the top floor. Owner was pleasant & accommodating and spoke English very well. Would stay here again.

Like others already have mentioned - you have to take into account that there will be a lot of stairs (good workout!) but this is not as bad as other reviews have stated. Our windows faced the street so there was quite a bit of noise, especially on Friday and Saturday night.

It's a nice little hotel in a fantastic location. Even though it is located next to a lively plaza, the rooms are very quiet. It was clean and for this price, I really don't have anything bad to say about it. I saw that many people complained about the stairs. Yes, there was no elevator but I didn't consider that a problem at all.

It's located on a very busy street. Traffic in the middle of the night can be LOUD. The listing mentioned a shower - yet there was no toilet in the room.

It was only a short walk to the train station and close enough to walk to all the main sights

Reception was on the ground floor, to our room (the attic) we had 83 stairs to walk up. There are alot of stairs to all the rooms. Our room Number 30 was literally the attic. The bathroom plumbing was semi functional. The shower water took forever to drain away and the shower was in between the basin and the toilet, no curtain between them so everything got wet. Had to put the towels etc outside on the bed. If you wanted to go to the toilet your feet were in water because the shower water had not drained away. For e100 a night, sorry not good enough. For any older people, forget it.

The hotel is located very close to the main station. The owner of the hotel is a very friendly person and helped us to bring luggage to our hotel room.

The hotel did not have a lift and the stairs are steep and narrow. It was a little hard to take all the luggages to level 3.

The room is not clean. The price is not suitable for the room. The facilities which is more than room service you have to pay the money eg.wi-fi, luggage leave.

bed was very very uncomfortable. it was very noisy to sleep. we booked for not shared bath. but toilets are shared. that was not informed to us. there is one toilet for one floor. our room has no bath. there was a shower and a lavatory on one corner of the room. don't go this hotel with big and heavy suitcases because there is no elevatory and first floor is essentially third floor. because there is a store under the hotel. Staf was money grubber, he wanted 2€ per suitcase to left our suicases near the exit door.

The rooms and all facilities were very clean and modern. I liked all of the IKEA style furnishings and modern art. The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is perfect. Very close to the train station and airport shuttle. I also liked that it was open to a piazza on one side and to a church on the other so unlike some european hotels, you didn't fee "boxed in". I would definitely stay here again!

Location can't be beaten if you like to stay in the thick of things. The value for money is very decent, help & hospitality is good and I really liked the no-nonsense meets design interior decoration. It's a cross between a hostel and a hotel, you'll find all the right basics decorated in clean upbeat colors. And say hello to Sylvie, the resident golden retriever!

Sandro, the proprietor, was very amiable, helpful with all my questions, and had great suggestions for restaurants; it was a pleasure to stay at his hotel. The room was clean, well-sized and the bed comfortable. The location is excellent, steps from the train station and walking distance to all of the central sites.

The only downside is the five floors and no lift, but that is not unusual in Europe. Free wifi would also be nice to have included with the room.

It was great.. Cheap, close the station, not even a 5 Minute walk.. Close to the centre and very clean. Staff We're great. Always friendly and helpful.. Was only Going to stay 3 nights but end up staying 5. Would stay There again!

A warm welcome. Hotel Fiorentino is on a perfect location in the hart of Florence. For a nice price we had a room we hoped for. Surrely a recommendation for anybody who's looking for a "not to expensive" hotelroom in this city. You share the toillet, but you can enjoy the privacy you need.

We met the owner of the hotel. He is very kind and help-giving. The price and quality of the hotel is very good. It can be a nice place for short term travelers because the location of the hotel is very close to bus station and center station. We traveled to Cinque Terre and Siena during our stay. At our last day, we even kept our luggage very late to have more time in Firenze.

Due to the building is quite old. It's impossible to install a lift. You might have some difficulty to move the luggage to third floor. Even the room looks quite new after decoration, the space just makes a okay feeling to us. However, we are here for visiting. This is already good enough for us to take a rest.

Great location really close to the train station and just acroos the beautifful Santa Maria Novella Church Nice price for city center
