The location is outstanding - 5 minute walk to the center of Amalfi. It is a really neat historic building dating from the 12th century. It is a small personal place - only 13 rooms. Most importantly, the owner & staff make you feel welcome & cannot do enough for you. |

The location of the hotel is perfect: in the middle of the bussiest street of Amalfi, yet quiet and peaceful. Very nice mixture of old and new with wonderful choice of colours and decorations. The hostess was absolutelly wonderful, accomodating any requests, helping with travel plans, gracefully present everywhere. |

The staff are extremely friendly and were able to provide great recommendations for various bits and pieces in town - be it a driver, a restaurant, ideas for things to do, etc. Rooms are neat. Breakfast is continental and fills the need. A great little hotel to stay! No, though we almost missed finding the hotel - a larger sign indicating the hotels location would be helpful... then again walking the streets of Amalfi is a brilliant experience in itself - go get lost! |

This was our third visit to Amalfi. Nothing positive that anyone has written about Floridiana can begin to describe the reality: this was among the most completely satisfying hotel experiences we have ever had, and we are very experienced travelers. We will visit Amalfi again, and we will not hesitate to return to Floridiana. Agnese, her staff and her establishement set a standard few can equal. |

Superb suite with a relaxing area with double jacuzzi tub on a balcony above the bedroom. The separate shower room was beautifully appointed. The room was immaculate and very stylishly decorated. The hotel as a whole was refurbished in 2005 but it is so well maintained that it looked like new. The breakfast spread was so well presented we had to take a photo. |

Everything. This hotel was fantastic, had an excellent location within walking distance from the main sea port and bus station, and the staff was beyond belief when it comes to friendly and helpful. I could not really have asked for anything more out of this place. There was no view of anything aside from the main basilica in the town from our room, and judging from the location, probably not much else from other locations (though I was not able to personally witness this), but that is a small price to pay for value, comfort, convenience, and the treatment from the staff. |

This place is wonderful, and the owner, Agnes, is the best hotelier I have ever met. She does everything she can to make your stay fantastic, and no detail is too small for her. The building is several hundred years old, yet it was recently (and tastefully) renovated. I frankly do not understand how the rates can be so reasonable. |

Everything! The service was exceptional, the hotel was obviously newly renovated and lovely, and the location was good. The bathrooms sparkled, they were that clean. The staff were so helpful and courteous. They even arranged for an early breakfast when we checked out, carried our bags down for us, found us walking itineraries. It was the best service I have ever received in a hotel by far! |

The Hotel Floridiana is an outstanding choice for visiting the Amalfi Coast. With a perfect location, incredible staff, and very nice rooms, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. If you have a car, it will require a bit of navigating through the narrow street (make sure you wait for the green light, which is mounted near the bar at the end of the square and tough to see). |

Hjälpsam, mycket trevlig personal (långt över snittet!) med bra engelska (och utmärkt tyska, såvitt vi kunde avgöra!). Lagom litet för att vara personligt, lagom stort (14 rum?) för att ha bra service. Fräscht, rymligt, luftigt rum och badrum (Superior Double) med vackert golvkakel och 3+ m takhöjd. Om vida perspektiv genom fönstret är viktigt för dig är detta fel hotell -- vi gillade dock smågränderna och hotellgården (stranden var nära). Har du svårt för trappor kan det vara besvärligt att ta sig in -- men då skall du nog heller inte resa till Amalfi. |
