brilliant location - walking distance to many places of interest - from collosseum to the spanish steps (only 2 mins away), surrounded by restaurants and shops and cafes. we were a large group and met with very friendly staff - at all hours - 24/7. very comfortable rooms - think it has been done up since our last stay. a big thank you to the staff for your help - highly recommend.

Many were the reasons that made us choose the Hotel Forte: its exceptional location-at one block from the "Spanish Steps",one block from the subway station(metro-line A),and for been at the "Via Margutta"-an oasis of tranquility and architectural beauty at the very center of the historical Rome. The choice end up been perfect for the confort of my 86 years old mother, who was travelling with us.However, what really made our stay perfect was the polite and friendlly way the members of the staff treated us.From the frontdesk, breakfast to even room services personel, all were always ready to help always with a friendly smile. We appreciated a lot our stay at the Hotel Forte, and certainly recommend it as an excelent option to enjoy a visit to Rome.

It has a great location, the main turistic attractions are in 10-15 minutes walking. The staff is also very nice and helpfull with fluent english. We will surely visit again. Any way the breakfast was a bit poor, but actually if you are in Italy you have to taste the local pannini bars and cafeterias at the city so the breakfast was not a problem for us at all.

We chose it for the great location but loved the style and ambience there. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A good variety of foods to choose from for breakfast. Overall we did not lack anything. The hotel was clean, well-staffed and felt safe and welcoming.

Excellent location, a block away from the Spanish steps in a quiet and lovely little street. The staff is reasonably friendly, if not all that competent. The rooms are tiny, and pretty dark, even by Rome's standards. It's a very small hotel, few rooms, too close together for comfort, and overall the hotel offers very little, except it's terrific location. I'd say that it is seriously overpriced even relative to the location.

arrived and were sent from 2nd floor hotel forte to fourth floor hotel manfredi as there were "water problems" in our room. Hotel Manfredi was very good - but our room was on the third floor and with all these floor changes as soon as we arrived and non-cooperating elevator we were a little fed up. Second night descended to second floor for our room at Forte. Given one just behind reception desk and across from breakfast - #110. Under no circumstances should anyone have to stay in this room where you can hear every move in reception (all night) and breakfast room. Complained. Moved to another room and this was at least quiet.

This is a lovely hotel. It is beautifully furnished throughout. Our room was small, as we expected, but is extremely comfortable and tastefully furnished. The staff all speak English and are extremely helpful and courteous. It is very well located for sightseeing, shopping and dining out. Only a few minutes walk to the Spanish Steps and the Metro, and a few minutes more to the Trevi Fountain. I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful break in your beautiful city.

The location is excellent. Near the Spanish steps, but tucked away in a quite street. A metro station within 5 mins. walk. There are plenty of good restaurants within a few minutes walk. There was a doorman during the day and a bell system for entry at night, combined with 24hr reception this gives a very good security standard. The staff were all very helpfull and professional. They gave good recommendations for restaurants and booked dinner reservations and taxi's with a smile. All the staff had imaculate grooming. This was followed through with a very high standard of cleaning in the bedrooms. The same attention to cleanliness was followed by the female staff member in the breakfast room. Our beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of clean towells every day. It would have been nice not to have to wait so long to get toast with breakfast. The toaster only does 4 slices and there was always people waiting for it.

Superb location in the Historic center, but on a quite back street. Rooms are on the small side, but adequate and as expected for the location. Hot water was a bit hit and miss.

Excelente ubicación. Muy cerca de Piazza Spagna y su parada de metro. Desayuno abundante y variado. Habitación amplia y cómoda. La ducha era un poco chica y hasta que uno se acostumbraba, se chocaba con todo.

Excellent location and friendly, helpful staff. Close to major shopping precincts, metro and Spanish Steps. Rooms are small as is the breakfast room but this is standard for accommodation in Rome - and the location and friendly staff more than make up for the size of the rooms.
