The location was excellent and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was very good.
The noise in the street under our window was sometimes unbearable. At one stage, in exasperation, a guest leaned out of the window shouting obscenities at passing vehicles. To make matters even worse, a shop alarm went off in the early hours.
the location was Ok. Close to the metro. Convinient for sightseeing.
The room is very dark. You get no window lights inside the room, so for me was quite depressive staying there.
It can be cleaner.
Location, staff & comfort.
Rooms were small but I understand this to be standard inside Rome centre. Opt for the larger ones.
Location and staff verry kind , clean and helpful staff
Hotel Forte is very well situated near to the Spanish Steps and Metro station. It is in a quiet back street. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and breakfast is very adequate. You can walk or take the metro to most of the central sites.
Great hotel on a quiet street. Close to all the sights. Breakfast was very European and delicious.
In a town where value is hard to find, this hotel in all aspects ticks all the boxes.
Great location in quite quiet street near Spanish steps. Very pretty foyer. Very helpful staff.
Shower stall really ,really small
Colazione un po' povera.
Great location, minutes from Spanish Steps. Good breakfast.
No parking, but a public car park 15 mins away. Had to pay for wifi and then the signal was very weak or dropped completely.
The location si one of the most beautiful streets in the center of Rome! The staff is always friendly, smiling and helpfull! I had my birthday during my stay in the hotel and they brought me a wine and chips and nuts and a letter with wishes! The room was veeeeeery clean, we had everything we needed, the breakfast is nice, all in general perfect!!! Grazie mille e congratulazioni per il vostro ottimo albergo! I'll definitely go back soon!
good location. breakfast is fine.
air conditioning didn't work well. but the hotel fixed it finally.
The location is brilliant - right in the center, in a very quiet street and close to underground. If you can get a good deal, this is an ideal place to stay during your stay in Rome. The room (bed) was confortable with A/C despite the weird layout. The staff was very welcome and pleasant.
The breakfast room is a bit small, especially the tables. The breakfast selection could include more fresh fruits.
We have been at this hotel for the second time and if we will plan to visit Rome again we will definitely choose this hotel again. Fabio, the receptionist was really helpful and kind.
Almost like home in glorious resedential style location Quiet and top loc ation
colazione molto povera e mediocre
Location. Cleanliness. Staff helpfulness and friendliness.
Perfect location. Great staff. Clean and comfy.
Charming street with great atmosphere. Quiet and comfortable room.
the room was excellent. breakfast was good but they didn't tell us there were eggs available. Only on the last day we saw a couple eating them.
Location. It is the middle of the road up to Capri. 15 minutes up and 25 down.
location quietness good Wi-Fi nice staff good bed
English breakfast not available
The hotel is in a fantastic position, right between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo but it's on a beautiful and quiet side street. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, only breakfast and then back early evening for a quick freshen up and back out again - but the time we did spend was great. The room we stayed in was a little small but very comfortable. The breakfast choice was great for us, although perhaps I could understand if other people would like more choice. The staff were friendly at all times, although we had no real need to ask for anything other than to check in and out! Air con was a godsend in the room as it was needed after a day's walking in 30 degrees!
From reception and all other staff it was a delightful stay.Friendly, helpful and informative at all times. Rome is wonderful and the hotel was a perfect base for exploring.
This lovely historic hotel has the best location in Rome. It is situated in the most charming street of Via Margutta which is a romantic and quiet street next to Spanish steps, walking distance to all sights. We stayed here for 4 nights and we had fantastic time. The Hotel staff was great, very helpful and friendly, they recommended nice restaurants nearby and provided all support we needed.
The room we were given first night ( I believe it was no.150) was far away from the standard we expected from this hotel and big disappointment for us. Fortunately, we were able to change it for refurbished room the next day and thus enjoy our stay.
