Hotel Fortuna  

οταν κλείνεις δωμάτιο απο ιντερνετ πιστεύεις πως θα βρεις αυτό που βλέπεις. δυστυχώς το δωμάτιο ήταν φτωχό και δεν είχε καμμία σχέση μ' αυτό που έβλεπα..λυπάμαι για την επιλογή μου.

Its central location, the highly professional staff and its affordability.

Lovely hotel, excellent location. The staff were very helpful. The room was comfotable, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. The roof terrace is a must, there is an amazing view of the city.

The hotel is charming and staff was efficient. (I am from the south in the us, and most places just arent' as friendly so I am a harsh judge in that department.) Very nice, spacious room with a beautiful bath. Fabulous breakfast.

Our room was on the street and it was noisy late into the night as people were leaving bars. If I had had a fan or noise maker, it would have been fine.

The cnetral location is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is very interesting.

I chose Hotel Fortuna primarily for its location. And being in such a location and good price it is definitely worth staying in. It is in the heart of Perugia. All the staff are always ready to help. Me and my wife stayed there for 5 nights. Staying at Perugia was ideal for getting around Umbria. Staying at Hotel Fortuna made things for us even more easy. We will be back !

Small, it seemed, but perfectly-formed, this rather quaint hotel was probably the best value of several we stayed in in Italy. It certainly was the warmest! It couldn't have been closer to the Corso Vannuci, the centre of the town. It was mostly quiet although a bit of exuberant laughter and shouting at night was carried up three floors from the street. We enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was plentiful and there was enough choice.

Excellent location and good/easy access to all the sights perugia has to offer - also a great roof terrace

The best thing was the rooftop terrace with its fabulous view, where you could bring your own glass of wine or little picnic. There was also a beautiful common room with books to borrow. Our room was large and comfortable, though it was an "economy" room. The location could not be better, an easy walk form the bus that brings you up the hill. Finally, the breakfast is excellent.

Although the website said that the "economy" room does not have the same panoramic view as the regular rooms, it did not say that there is barely a window at all -- the only window is high up on a wall, so there is little natural light and it is not a good situation for anyone claustrophobic.

Can be noisy in rooms towards the street (busy pub right next to the hotel).

The hotel stuff was full of patience and polite. All the people in the reception desk helped us with advice and gold tips. The room was intimate and romantic and very clean. The dining room is a pleasant way to start the day.

1. Sometime there was a sewerage smell at the bathroom. 2. the air- conditioned didnt do its job and the cooling power was very low. We asked to fix it, but it stayed tha same as in the begining of our stay.
