Hotel Fortuna    

Un lugar cómodo, bien situado, con un servicio muy agradable. Me ha gustado la decoración. Habitación amplia y confortable.

Excelente ubicación, en el centro de la ciudad.

Sucio, falto de mantenimiento. Muy caro para lo que ofrece. Para llegar en coche es realmente difícil y complicado, por la estructura de la ciudad.

La atención y amabilidad del personale encargado del 'buffet' y la excelente ubicación.

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien (habitación 204). El exiguo ascensor. La laberíntica disposición de las habitaciones.

La situación y la habitación con vistas que tuvimos. El personal también fue muy amable y eficiente.

El hotel es antiguo y necesita un restyling, aun así, es acogedor y muy limpio.

Faltaba limpieza en el interior del aparato aire acondicionado de la habitación. En funcionamiento soltaba suciedad y caía en el escritorio. El desayuno poco variado.

Excelente ubicación. Personal atento. El desayuno es de lo más normal, tirando a excaso de variedad, pero aceptable.

En cuanto a la habitación un CERO ABSOLUTO. Me debió tocar la última habitación, aunque es mejor denominarla trastero de maletas: en los comentarios del hotel para "doble estandar" dice que "algunas tienen bañera de hidromasaje, otras vistas a la calle", pues bien la mía( nº 304 ) tenía un plato de ducha ridículo en un baño ridículo y una ventana con vistas a un patio de luz de 6 metros cuadrados. Como es lógico, sólo utilicé la habitación para pernoctar, pero su precio real no debería pasar de 45 €. Consejo: solicitar no ocupar mencionada habitación en la reserva. Las otras seguro que están bien.

La ubicacion, esta en el centro y al lado de la parada del autobus del aeropuerto, la limpieza y el personal muy agradable.

This hotel has an excellent location in the old city and is close to everything: the bus stop for the bus to the train station, close to the escalator taking one down to the bus station (for a visit to Assisi), plus the mini-metro which is also within easy reach. Our frescoed room was spacious with 1.5 bathrooms and easy access to a hotel balcony with beautiful views of the surrounding country side.

No English news or any other English TV channels! Had I known this beforehand, it would have influenced my decision in terms of a 4-night stay. We also received some contradictory information from the reception staff about the cost of internet use. Breakfast was a disappointment with a limited variety (and tinned/canned fruit every day) although the cappucinos were good and the restaurant staff really friendly.

Charming, beautiful location; excellent and attentive staff; Wonderful room with view of the Umbria countryside and Perugian rooftops off our balcony. The location was perfect, just off of the main shopping and restaurant area, so easy to access all that Perugia has to offer just outside the door! I loved everything about this hotel and our experience in Perugia! Thank you Hotel Fortuna for making our stay so very very special!!

Some rooms are not adequate for anyone that has issues with mobility in any way, my sisters room located on the 2nd floor required her to go up and down stairs off the elevator and the beautiful marble bathroom had 2 tears, although she is in no way handicapped, she has issues with her knee and this room was very challenging for her to navigate. My advice is to make sure if you have any physical limitations at all, you inquire about the layout and accessibility of the room. Our room was on the 4th floor, easy to access off the elevator.

Great situation, comfortable accommodation, helpful and pleasant staff - it's a very pleasing hotel.

Staff is not friendly, parking is difficult. Room is not good.

I asked for a room with a view and got a room that was too cold (heating device very old and noisy), not appropriate for winter in such state. We changed rooms (very easy process as the staff is diligent and nice) and got a second room much warmer and bigger but facing a wall. One last thing: breakfast buffet is totally unappealing.

This is a very good hotel. The staff were helpful, especially Nicola (who makes the best cappucino in town at breakfast) and knowledgeable, but had only limited english. The location is excellent for exploring the city and for access to restaurants. The breakfast was better than average for a three-star. We booked an upgraded room, which included a private balcony. The building is historic but very well maintained.

The room was on the fifth floor but the elevator only goes to the fourth. The private patio was nice but would have been more appreciated in the spring and summer. Given the time of year of our stay (November), we would have preferred a bigger indoor space. There was no bathtub and the shower was barely adequate in size.

super location in heart of old city centre; lovely roof garden with views

my single room looked out at a brick wall and the pipe removing odours from the kitchen. I could only see sky if I craned my neck out of the window.

It was very convenient for the centro storico. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was an old building , full of character with frescos on the walls and a roof garden with a great view.

Location, comfort, friendly & helpful staff, great value for money, great common areas (lounge, terrace etc).

Charming and helpful staff. Comfortable accomodation with all facilities needed in an 'economy room'. Good breakfast and very clean and unfussy.

Exterior a bit 'battered' but no more than a lot of this ancient town.

The location is perfect - in the Upper Town center and a few minutes walk from the main attractions. The Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria (unforgettable and worth a trip to Perugia on it's own account) is round the corner. The hotel is in the limited traffic area but you can drive up with the luggage. Parking is downtown. The hotel itself has a beautiful frescoed sala on the second floor and a rooftop balcony with a view. The furnishings are somewhat outdated but this adds to the atmosphere. A good breakfast in a stylish room.

Our room was lovely - spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. The position of Fortuna hotel suited us well as a short stroll to city centre and all its amenities was perfect. The staff were friendly and efficient and ensured our every wish was met.

Location, history, comfort, ambience, cleanliness and staff friendliness.

People, location, readiness to do anything to assist.

Small rooms, but (I guess) it comes with territory so to speak.
