Relaxed atmosphere once inside after the bustling street outside. The towels were like tea towels. Not soft and fluffy.

Loved everything about this hotel! Very comfortable and clean room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and evening snacks available and the location is perfect to explore the town of Pompei and the ruins in addition to being a base to travel to other cities.

The location is fantastic - perfect - right by the Amphitheatre Entrance of the Pompeii site. And it's a lovely hotel with an excellent restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the Wi-Fi internet works very well. There's nothing not to like about this hotel. :-)

Located directly opposite Pompei archeological site. Handy for restaurants and public transport. Beautiful gardens and nice ambience. Noisy at night at weekend due to car horns sounding until 3am!

Excellent hotel directly opposite the rear entrance to the Pompeii archaeological site and 10 minute walk from the railway station. Modern comfortable rooms with a large and airy breakfast room and large patio/garden area for relaxing with a long cool drink.

The location was close to Pompei site. It's by the back entrance, at the amphitheater. This is still a great location because you avoid the long lines at front. The balcony off our room was nice. The staff was friendly and parking convenient. Breakfast was standard. The city of Pompei was run down and not a place I would stay again. I would suggest staying outside (Sorrento) and taking the train in. The Hotel Forum is probably the nicest hotel in city. We did have a room for 4 (2ad, 2 ch) and our bathroom was very small with a broken shower head and broken shower doors. The towels were like sandpaper too.

Location was great for the Scavi. Also for Ercolano/Vesuvio & Sorrento. Staff not intrusive but friendly. Nice decor and ambience. Good simple breakfast. Just a bit noisy on front rooms.

Excellent location, staff was very helpful in providing excellent places to eat, train info etc, Clean and neat property that was a great value. Morning buffet was very adequate and provedid in a nice setting next to garden. Nothing really wrong, just the same point in many euro location about a smallish bathroom, but nothing we could not deal with.

The hotel had good proximity to the Pompei site and local townsite. Most of all we were upset with the lack of basic cleanliness in our room. The bedroom was scuffed and in need of painting. The bathroom was moldy. The shower was tiny and did not drain properly and the water rose to mold level, so quite a revolting experience. Our children cried and refused to shower! Parking was a bit far from the hotel, which made luggage drop off and pick up awkward.

Right opposite the entrance to the Pompeii ruins for an early start. We travelled in the January so the garden wasn't in use but it looked fantastic for a drink at the end of the day. Haven't been able to find this restaurant listed on Trip Advisor, but do not eat at the Corallo restaurant in the square opposite the Pompeii ruins entrance..........appalling. The bathroom was a challenge and the toilet was for contortionists

The garden in the hotel was beautiful, and the breakfast was tasty. It was also very close to the Pompeii rooms. Our room was a huge disappointment - it looked nothing like the room photos on Booking.com and was definitely not a room in a 4-star hotel. The decor was very outdated, think old, bad 70s furniture and bedding. I would not recommend this hotel based on the rooms.

The reception staff were excellent, it was in a great vicinity to the ruins & Vesuvius, we could walk or get the tours across the road. These tours were great as they organised a taxi to take us up the top of Vesuvius & the ruins & the taxi driver waited 2 hrs for us & brought us home. All for $18 each. The staff at the forum brought us out beautiful nibbles every night at 5pm whilst we were enjoying a wine & all for free!! Can't think of anything that was too negative except maybe a bit of traffic noise outside our window as we faced the ruins.

The room suited our needs perfectly. It was close to the ruins of Pompeii and the basilica in Pompeii as well as shopping and a variety of dining experiences. It advertised WiFi in the rooms, but I could not connect. There were, however, two computers in the lobby that I could use.
