We absolutely loved the view of the Grand Canal from our room. The quaint courtyard breakfast area was a great way to start your day. The staff and service were great. And the concierge was so incredibly helpful and friendly - with lots of great tips on places to see. Last, the room size was fairly large for Venice's standards. |

The hotel has one of the best locations in Venice, including a garden and a rooftop deck looking over the lagoon - magic. Rooms are small but full of character. |

The hotel was perfectly positioned for the sights of Venice with a vaporetta stop virtually outside. The roof terrace was beautiful with wonderful views across the lagoon. Breakfast was served in a sunny internal court yard. |

Had a great time in venice and had a lovely stay at Gabrielli Sandwirth. Reading some reviews we were a little apprehensive as some of the reviews were not so complimentary. i guess some people expect brand new hotels in vencie?? However we had a great time. Our balcony was facing the lagoon, and the view was amazing. |

Our balcony was facing the sea, and the view was amazing. Plus the location is spot on, close to the hot spots. |

Location is good for easy access to sites & transportation. When I arrived we were shown to a very bare room the size of a closet, although the view was beautifu. When I complained to the concierge that the room was nothing like what was pictured on the website they moved us to a better one, on the courtyard. The staff were very courteous, & room was clean & much quieter on courtyard side. |

The service staff at the reception were friendly. The location was great! I could get to San Marco within minutes. The room was way too minimalistic. Definitely not worth the money. The breakfast selection was poor. The hotel needs information from the passport and they keep it for hours just to do that. On top of that, when I walked past the concierge, the passports were all just lying unattended on the counter. Anyone could have taken it and nobody would know. |

Good location Upon check-in my passport was collected and then returned but in the meantime it was left, sometimes unattended, on the concierge counter in plain sight. Also, I put my bag in left baggage after check out and later found that it was just sitting on floor in the adjacent room unsupervised for anyone to walk away with. |

Great location on the lagoon. We had a balcony room with a great view. The shower leaked all over the place, the whole hotel felt a bit like a retirement community. Venice is expensive...I guess this was reasonable for Venice. |

I saw the sea shore from the window. When I touched the shower head, it was too easy to come off. I think such thing was easily founded before some guests come. |

The location is just AMAZING! The view from my room was breathtaking, the breakfast was sumptuous and the staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Even my room (single) was exceptionally clean and well kept. Everyone, right from the porter to the bartenders, the reception staff, the concierge went out of their way to help me and to make my trip a memorable one. |

Nice water views. The place is directly on the Riva degli Shiavoni which is the big stone promenade just outside St. Mark's Square where lots of people hang out and walk so there was plenty of action and people watching. Some noise at night from boats/ferries but not bad. |
