Literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, over-priced tiny room with single bed and rude staff. Awful, awful, awful Hated everything but location |

The air conditioning actually worked (in some hotels in Italy, it didn't at all and it got hot), thouugh you couldn't adjust it - on or off. The bedrooms are all designed differently and they are cute with beautiful chandeliers and an extra vanity with sink in the room apart from the bathroom. You can request a room with a seaside view and it's very close to St. Mark's square. The hotel will also exchange currencies without a service charge! I read that it had internet, but it was expensive! |

Good breakfasts and very pleasant dining area. We were lucky to get a room with balcony overlooking the beautiful lagoon. Nice roof garden with views over the city, somewhere to cool off at the end of the day. Old fashioned and decorations a bit tired. |

The only thing I liked was the location of the hotel. I found the staff unfriendly, bordering on rude and unhelpful. |

I loved this hotel. We had a lovely room that was very spacious with a large bathroom. It was nice and quiet. We loved the breakfast the next morning with a beautiful courtyard. The location was perfect. Easy to get to right off the boat at the arsenal boat stop. |

It is very well situated to explore Venice. The buffet breakfast was good value in the context of Venice hotel prices. The air conditioning was inadequate. The room was small and claustrophobic. Facilities generally were nothing like the advertised four star rating. |

1. Staff was very helpful and friendly. 1. The single rooms were smaller than they appeared on the website. 2. Amenities they describe on their website are not available in all rooms. 3. The hotel does not have any single rooms with a view. |

The location was quite good, and near the Aliguna back to the airport. The rooms were small but comfortable, and sink separted from bath area was nice. We asked for a triple and they gave us 2 rooms, a single and a double adjoining room, which was great. The breakfast was very good. Staff was right on with what time to take the Aliguana to the airport so we could catch our flight on time. Asked if we could have coffee or a bit to eat 15 minutes before the start time of breakfast, because we had to leave and they said no. Also the rate was a bit steep. |

The location of the hotel was excellent for all we wanted to do in Venice.Within a short walking distance of all the sights, and excellent for the local water taxi's. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms very neat and tidy and of a good size. The roof garden gives you lovely views and somewhere to relax after a day of sightseeing. |

Fantastic location, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent rooms - good size and has everything you need. Maybe a bit dated decor-wise but this adds to it's charm. Great choice of breakfast. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Venice. |

Excellent location along the canal and the rooftop terrace was awe- inspiring with it's view of Venice. The mattress in our room had obvious wear/pressure points in it. They should probably change the mattresses out or upgrade them to wear- resistant editions. |

The hotel is a bit rundown and shabby in the public areas, but our room had a great view of the canal and lagoon and was quite spacious. Very convenient to the vaporetto, helpful staff and delicious breakfast. We like that it is a bit away from the fray of San Marco. The public areas really need some updating. |
