The breakfast was high quality. Locations wasn't as good as I had hoped. I didn't have any hot water on my second morning there. It was overpriced for my experience.

Location was OK, considered very close to Rome Termini, walking distance. Service of the night shift staff (the skinny guy) was superb compared to the morning staff! Room was big enough, very tidy & cozy. Definitely recommended for a short stay. Free Wifi was a + remark! On the morning we are leaving early @6am, the hotel even packed breakfast for us upon request! * Breakfast was normal, nothing special. * Bathroom towel heater was not working, so we could not wash our laundry. During one of the days, we accidentally left our key in the room, and we told the morning staff, but when we came back at night, room was not serviced, as the morning staff forgotten to inform the others! Very disappointed with that morning shift guy!

Fantastic location with a particularly helpful receptionist on our arrival. Beds extremely comfortable and a tastefully decorated room (302) with a balcony. Breakfast was plentiful and sufficient to last until mid afternoon, the hotel had very high standards of cleanliness and decor. Housekeeping was efficient and unobtrusive. Rooftop terrace delightful. Highly recommend. Just that the other receptionists we met weren't quite as friendly as the one that received us on our arrival.

Great location, comfortable room, good breakfast not served on terrace due to colder temps, but terrace open 24 hours, nice decor and friendly, helpful staff, especially Pietro. The shower stall might be a bit small for some travellers but was fine for us.

It ś very close to Termini train station. Hotel was fine in general, but it doesn´ t deserve its four stars (especially not for its services, facilities and cleanliness). Hotel also charged some extra payments for each night of the stay and these payments weren´t mentioned when we made the online reservation.

This hotel is a easy ten minute walk from Termini, where either a train, metro or bus can be caught. The room was adequate, roof top patio has a beautiful view day or night. We took a bottle of wine up there in the evening. The evening desk clerk was friendly and helpful. When asked for a corkscrew, he also provided wine glasses and ice as the room had plastic cups. There was a refrigerator with a variety of drinks, we did not use this as there was a mini-mart down the street where we purchased Coke for the room. Breakfast was more than adequate with a variety of cheeses, meat, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit and delicious pastries. There is a resturant just down the street with excellent food and friendly service with waiters who speak english. We enjoyed the curbside tables. Overall a nice hotel in a perfect location for easy transportation and a great stay in Rome!

Location and free wifi. Air con worked well. Shower was horrible, no pressure at all. Tv had hardly any channels and was tiny. The electricity plugs didnt allow for adapters as they would fall out of the socket.. Breakfast was poor. The hotel was ok but I can't see how it could be four stars.

We found the Hotel Gallia to be excellent and value for money. We were celebrating to major anniversaries during our stay and that staff assisted with a few extra to make our stay "very special". Although the hotel could do with a "paint job" in some areas, it was still clean, comfortable and services were first class, The location is great... around 10-15 mins on foot to the Rail/Metro Station. We have no complaints...... Hotel Gallia, for the price we paid, was certainly value for money.............well done booking.com and Gallia Hotel.

The Hotel Gallia is a small traditional Italian style hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. The location of the hotel is excellent and located near a number of good restaurants. The hotel has a rooftop terrace where traditional continental breakfast is served each morning, and you have views across the city. This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here and would do again, due to location and value for money.

“The Ripa Hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the bars and restaurants in the Trastevere area, which is the best for going out in. It is also ideally located for walking to see all the sites. We stayed for 5 days, saw all of the sites and didnt use public transport or taxis once.” Sarah, London |
